Hi! As far as I can judge tracking is fine over at least 5 octaves (thats what I tested). I actually find the "fine tune" knob a bit too coarse, sometimes its hard to bring the 1004 in tune with other VCOs, but that aside, it performs very well.
Yes that works, the result differs a lot with the waveform. With the simple sine and triangle waves, the frequency drops and more harmonics appear. Saw and square give different results. Since the modulation is always in phase with the Oscillator in this setup, you will not get the typical "FM sounds".
Patching one of the outpus into the pwm seems to have a very subtle effect, I guess due to the two outputs being perfectly in phase. And not affected by the pitch.

FiltAmp is cool, because it gives you the missing pieces (VCF and VCA) for the audio path of your voice.

I want one of these but just a bit surprised and disappointed that there's no osc sync in this design & it wasn't on the original.

Curious if one of the duplicate outs can be patched into either the PW or PWM for modulation that's affected by the keyboard or sequencer voltages?
