Love this model, the only Ferrari model I've ever driven. I drove it in 1988 for about 2 hours on I-5 with about 3 to 5k miles on it, saddle interior. My girlfriend had graduated U of O and worked for the owner. It was very memorable.

Phenomenal car. And yes, a poster on my wall as a kid. I also used to doodle this car in the classroom and just dream about it. As a kid growing up in the 80’s, this was THE car. Great review.

GTS = Gran Turismo Spyder. Drove this model in 2007 and you have to get it out on the highway / freeway to appreciate. Nice Ferrari tribute review Zack.

Finally... this the kind of car I want to drive, to own. Aside from, I prefer the Tan leather interior. My ‘87 911, has nothing on this .... stylewise. The Ferrari aged into a much more mature price bracket than the Porsches. And I could not afford to deal with only Ferrari parts prices, when compared to the Germans. Lest I mention maintenance! I love this 328 GTS. And typically the owners of them, I’ve known a few. I can’t say that about the newer ones. The review was Perfect, Zack. Thanks.

Being in my mid 40’s, this era of Ferrari is where I fell in love with them and cars. And I couldn’t agree more about low power cars; it’s always more engaging and fun ruining out as much fun and power out of a “slow” car than having to keep yourself restrained driving a high horsepower. Even Enzo himself drove a tiny sub 100hp Fiat as his daily driver!

There's one just like this rolling around here, old lady has it, she also has a white Countach, quite a treat to see them every once in awhile rolling around.

I fell in love with the 308 but the 328 just refined every detail- on the outside. I miss the toggle switches. This is a beauty and would happily drive it home though.

It’s more rewarding driving a car where you work it just enough to get the best out of it. Totally get it! Buy the car Zack, buy it!!

Nice video, brings back some great memories: In October of 1986 I ordered a new 930. Grand Prix white w/burgundy interior from the local dealer in Connecticut. What a car! A bit light in the front and somewhat tail happy but a visceral driving experience. Sadly I sold it and kick myself every now and then when I think about it. I saw its twin a couple of years ago and forgot how small that original 930 was, even with the wide fenders and whale tail. Gawd I miss that car!. I paid $61k USD for it and it is probably still worth that same amount!

I totally agree, you can drive these cars more aggressively and its so much fun. You can't really do the same thing with a modern sports car or a mustang with 500hp without risking major troubles like (wrapping it around a pole/jail)

Nice review! By looking at your shoulder above the back of the seat, are you about 5-6 inches too tall for the design of this car? I noticed you ducking down, was your view tinted blue that whole time? The overhead camera view kind of shows that too as your head seems to be higher than the roof? I think those kinds of points are important to get across as a lot of us dreamers could be too tall for comfort of these cars. Maybe too tall to own, but dang it would be nice to drive, even if a bit cramped, but I would guess that would wear on a guy, much like the lack of refinement.

    Greetings from Montreal!
I have a joke for you today:
At a red stop, a family in a Toyota Corolla, wife ask about the red car aside. "It is a Ferrari, says the husband " . "Ah, I don't think is a good car, there are not so many on the street... "
    Have a great day!

For a 32-year-old vintage 328 GTS with only 13,000 miles on it, that's a good price! Thanks for the quick reply. I guess I'll have to settle for my Korean Audi/BMW, my equally red 2018 Kia Stinger GT Limited with 18,000 miles already on it. But, even though they didn't make too many of these, I don't think that it'll ever be worth $80K US even in 30 years... Anyway, I'll be 85 by then... lol!
