My goodness, I love your work. Colors and patters are gorgeous! You tube just popped your video in front of me, and I am so glad it did. You are very talented. One thing, do wear all your most favorites, as specially those. Enjoy them to bits. Life moves fast and before we know it years pass while we wait for best times to enjoy things. I am creating a life now where I use, wear, eat my most favorites as everyday things. Hard learned lesson. I though I knew it well but had an awakening moment and saw the truth. Even with this in mind, I still find myself slipping to old pattern of keeping things for later. Later is never guaranteed.
These are amazing! I'm a very new knitter with only a few scarves to my name, but my main goal of 2023 is to knit myself some cozy socks 😂 I am also going to try a year-long blanket project that is like a temperature blanket but based on the books I read (with type of stitch depending on the book format, the genre by color, and the number of rows by book length).
I absolutely love all of the garments you make. It’s such an inspiration! I definitely want to make a Marie Wallen piece some time in 2023 but maybe cast on in the summer to have for the fall. Currently I’m working on a new cast on for the year which is Andrea Mowrys Weekender Light for the Spin it to Knit it Kal. First time knitting up my own handspun and it’s such a lovely experience!
So excited to see the bear sweater! I just bought that pattern and am thinking about making one for my partner as well. It's so cute! Also- I'm a huge rustic yarn fan but still primarily use superwash merino/nylon for socks. Your socks looked amazing and I think I need to cast on some manchelopi socks... Thanks for the inspiration!

I have wanted to knit the shifty sweater but I noticed on Andrea it is puckery at that same place and so is the cardigan. I feel it's an issue with yoked sweaters thta she makes as I watch her podcast and her yoked sweaters all seem to be bulky near the armhole area or pulling at the neck. :-( I've gone and looked at many on Ravelry and they are all the same, especially around the armhole area of the yoke and it doesn't look good. The shifty cardigan also seems to be choking Andrea's neck and I was waiting to do it as cardi's suit me better but I need to know how to decrease around the neck area so the button isn't half way up my neck. thanks again and I love seeing you in all of your knits.

I love all your finished objects from 2022! so very inspiring. as for my plans for knitting in 2023, I have plans to get as many UFOs and WIPs off the needles as I can, and start the Nigella sweater by Marie Wallin in handspun yarns. I began spinning for it in December last year and it will definitely take some time.

But my question is how you line up the bottom edge of shawl with the other pattern math wise or does it just work out. Love your colors. Thank you for your help.
Catching up to your podcast ❤. For the neckband on my Yell cardigan, I used single thread mohair, knitted and folded it over, sandwiched the steek between the two layers, and sewn it by hand with matching thread, not yarn, regular sewing thread. No bulk, no itching, no rolling. For the sleeves and bottom, instead of moss stitch a did a welt pattern. No rolling! Great work with all your knitting. Love them all, and the slippers are adorable.

I was drawn to your channel by the image of the Fairisle jacket as I am a huge fan of that style of knitting and first thought it was a Sidsel Hoivik or Christel Seyfarth jacket, both Norwegian designers. Almondine socks in sock knitting master class book. 2nd attemp. I frogged them once already. I figured out I was making gauge in stockinette but not in the lace pattern. Some camisoles to sleep in. Finish my simply surprised tee (merchanized cotton). A sport weight cardigan. It's blue. I have the yarn but keep changing my mind of the pattern.

At 71 and with about 16 years since learning to knit, I am in awe of your knitted creations. Your work is so beautiful and intricate, way beyond my level of expertise. You knitting inspires me!
I put off knitting socks for years because the first two attempts I made (while they looked good) the second sock of the pattern never got made. It's a me thing, I always have multiple patterns in the works (I also read anymore from 2-4 books at the same time .... that's not weird, right?). And by the time I got done with the first sock in the pair, I was ready to move on to something new. This last year, I spent most of my knitting time making pairs of socks knitted two at a time from the toe up. I found a great pattern, and I love that it makes it so easy for me. Each pair of socks has exactly the same number of rows, the same tension, and doing them both at the same time makes it easier for me to complete the project. This year, it's finally my turn for a pair of knitted socks!

Hi, Bella, regarding the Nutiden yarn: I've visited the website and am not sure I understand how it works. You can buy yarn from them only by being a patron? 'Cause when I pressed shop or shopping, the website looks different than usual sites. Do they have different yarns? Thank you!
They have shop updates about once a month - their next one will be in February. The shop is only open during a shop update so that is why you do not see anything for sale right now. I would highly recommend following them on instagram for the next shop update info!
Wow you shawlography is stunning. Its muted yet honestly still having great contrasty, fantastic color choices. You choice of border is quite perfect. You'd never know it wasn't designed as your is. I like it better for creating a seem less sure.lovely border. I love your border choice, it looks wonderful.

Hi, Bella, regarding the Nutiden yarn: I've visited the website and am not sure I understand how it works. You can buy yarn from them only by being a patron? 'Cause when I pressed shop or shopping, the website looks different than usual sites. Do they have different yarns? Thank you!
They have shop updates about once a month - their next one will be in February. The shop is only open during a shop update so that is why you do not see anything for sale right now. I would highly recommend following them on instagram for the next shop update info!

Wow you shawlography is stunning. Its muted yet honestly still having great contrasty, fantastic color choices. You choice of border is quite perfect. You'd never know it wasn't designed as your is. I like it better for creating a seem less sure.lovely border. I love your border choice, it looks wonderful.
