Irene lin is one of my favorite designers. I have never seen a Kal for her but to be honest her patterns are so well written and easy to follow. Still would be fun to participate 😊

Thank you so much for introducing me to this designer. I must have been walking around with my eyes closed - her stuff is amazing! Don't think I'll be doing the KAL unfortunately - I am currently knee deep in other projects, but maybenext year?
I'm so glad that I was able to introduce Irene Lin to those who haven't heard of her! I believe Faith and I will probably make this an annual fall knitalong, so we should be hosting another one next year for you to join 😄😄

I'm so excited for this KAL! I have a few options. I think I have yarn in stash I could use for the Afra sweater, some yarn for the Ola sweater, and also the Lyra tee. But I also really want to make the Acacia cardigan. So many patterns to cast on and not enough hands! 🙈😂
There's so many fantastic options! Can't go wrong with any if them lol! The Afra Sweater is super cute, be prepared for lots of half twisted ribbing lol! The lace on the Ola Sweater was so fun to knit, and the cables and lace on the Acacia Cardigan was sooo addicting to knit! The Lyra Tee looks absolutely adorable 😍😍 so many options!
I think I’ll knit the Ramble since I already have the pattern, but I do love her new Ruth pattern so maybe that one.
The Ramble Jumper was a really lovely knit, I'm sure you would enjoy it!

If you use a skinny dark belt you could wear that cardigan without tucking it in and look very polished.. I have studied Lin patterns but so far behind in projects at the time love to see what you have made. Thanks
That's such a great idea! I'll have to keep an eye out for maybe a skinny black or dark grey belt. At the moment I only own one thick brown belt 😅
I can highly recommend Rossi Boots over Blundstone, they much better quality and so much more comfortable, like walking on a cloud in ‘work’ boots 😊

I just stumbled upon on your video. I am a big fan of Irene Lin! I have knitted 4 patterns so far and am currently knitting the 5th, the Lyra Tee. Her patterns are AMAZING. Thank you for doing the KAL 😊 Can I still participate even though mine is already a WIP?

I knitted 3 patterns from Irene, I am a big fan of her work :) Oh by the way... A lot of Black Skirts around here.... 😅🤣😂
Haha yess I really lean on my black skirts because they just go so well with everything 😅
I prefer written patterns over charted patterns. Just work best for me.
I tend to bounce between the two - the nice thing about Irene Lin's patterns is that she includes both written and charted instructions (at least the ones I've knit so far!) 😄
Irene Lin is my favorite designer! I have 3 of her patterns in my queue right now and will be casting on the Bella Cardigan within the next couple days

@@HoneybirdStudio My LYS has their own cashmere linen blend which is pretty affordable! It's lace weight, I'm holding a light gray with a light blue and my swatch was a very pretty bluish-gray

I just cast mine on this morning! So far it's been a fun knit - I'm so curious about the construction, because the backpiece has such a slope - hopefully I will make it to the front pieces by tonight to see just how it'll come together 😄
Yay!! I have been too…. I’m also contemplating adding an additional double knit button band to kind of pull the back up on my neck if that makes sense 😂
@@OceanLyre Oooh I just knit a project with a double knit button band and I am obsessed! It's such a clean look! I suppose we'll both find out how the Carly Cardigan will fit with its interesting construction haha!
