Overall the most straightforward and clear guide out there. Thank you very much. Our Kia screen is showing static for about 8 minutes after we start driving then it will finally turn on. Any ideas why it does this?

Sounds like damp has got to the a couple of components, it clears up when iits own heat had dried things out.
Obviously this won’t be the case if you live in one of the warmer countries and so inspection would be needed.

Can you replace it with a KIA touch screen/sat nav? Or are the connectors different?

You probably figured out that you could. You just need a harness that connects to the Kia properly. You have to match the corresponding wiring.
