    Moon Palace Resorts have announced two large projects.
    First is the construction of a 1200 room luxury hotel in Montego Bay east of the airport and a second in the Shaw Park Botanical Gardens overlooking Ocho Rios.

    I heard people talking about beaches and no beaches will be left for citizens. Okay!!!! But what about the Jobs these Hotels will Provide!!!.Jobs Jobs AND MORE JOBS!!!!!!!! THATS THE SPIN OFF. I am from the West and We welcome these businesses.

    very soon we will have no beaches left for us to have leisure time..all been taken over by resorts. imagine living on an island but locals have no access to the beaches.. its a very sad future ahead of us

      Rubbish. This area being built on not a soul ever used it as a public or private beach. Stop this silly narrative. The coastline is full of untouched beaches and the ones that are used by us are dirty and unkempt by US!

    It would appear hard rock will be starting construction soon as the land is being cleared, Jamaica on the go

    Ok, all that land between the unico and iberostar is going to be the hard rock hotel location and the land to the right of unico going towards Mobay will be the ritz Carlton.

    Do you not realise that the Dom Rep is over 4 times larger than Jamaica with a much larger population?
