Rather than hating on others for their wealth and achievements, many of you are focused on "big breezing" each other. Instead, unite, start a business together, and elect the right leaders-those who are advocating for real change, not just shouting slogans like 'showa' or 'powa'.

Some of the views on this comments board are blinkered, shortsighted and, frankly, dunce. Every country has its plutocratic class and Jamaica is no different. Go forth and do likewise.

Well said - that is the truth. As long as people see themselves as disadvantaged, oppressed and "victims" of others and/or the system they will never achieve their potential greatness. Everyone can rise and achieve - it is all your beliefs and heart attitudes. Slavery ended a long time ago - time to move on from this backward way of thinking expressed by so many here.

Look at the British Royal Family still controlling African countries ,have since slavery, colonialism,Caribbean Islands , and on and on. What they get after stealing every asset, nothing nit even clean water, roads good schools that are free ,health care not one thing as again their follow Africans in power allow it just as long as they throw them a few coins. You need to understand that business can be a competitive environment. Red tape, or regulations, are in place to control and govern the business world. These rules can sometimes benefit those who are already wealthy, allowing them to maintain their position. It's often difficult to break into established industries without a significant effort. Historically, wealth has been linked to power and influence. People who hold power are less likely to share it, preferring to maintain their dominance. So you'll have to fight.
