      DONT do it i did it NYC- ATL soooooooooooo different , let me start by saying that when Georgians move to NYC they are immediately put in Special Ed ...on average school system is about 2 years behind our NYC schools. 2ndly i had 3 kids here every delivery had severe complications. My son who is only 3 had several surgeries with many issues. Also not sure of your race but its an extremely racist place...don't EVER forget its the deep south with extremely racist values ...here a perfect example look up Troy Davis...literally the world begged GA not to execute him ..the literal world and they did anyway...look up all the covering up in the Ahmad Avery case ...make no mistake this is the deep south. Also you will not be able to fit in ...coming from NYC where people have deep philosophical conversations to a place where they say "how old you is?" That's the difference where they justify young thug dressing like a lil girl saying atleast he's getting money literally not understanding the agenda of feminizing our black men....let alone what feminizing means ..people think very surface level and struggle to do that...overall its just not worth it...1 good thing though because of the cultural stupidity you can come here and run circles around the locals economically but after a while that gets boring..

    A big part of ATL’s traffic problems is because they don’t have a really good and large public transportation system, so people have to drive every where they go. Planning on moving there soon and it’s the only thing that worries me a bit because now I’ll have to drive more and be stuck in traffic all the time. Been there twice and I love the place though.😊

    interesting comparison of costs of Atlanta vs national averages - lots of pluses although some negatives too. 54 colleges an Universities is a definite plus, and the Marta system sounds like a great way to get around. But $150 for a blood test is not so good. Thanks so much for the information Anthony.

    Is Atlanta a good place to live for people working in the public health field?

    • @LivinginAtlanta
      @LivinginAtlanta  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Absolutely! We have one of the strongest, largest medical industries in the country. Emory hospital/university is located here along with numerous Wellstar hospitals, Northside Hospital, Grady Hospital, and many more depending on what part of town you choose to live in. Are you thinking of relocating to Atlanta soon?

      @@LivinginAtlanta This is going to be a long reply.. I'm about to start my senior year at UGA, majoring in health promotion/public health and will graduate next spring. So I would take a gap year after I finish my internship next summer also. So I was thinking of also applying to Georgia State or Emory for a masters degree in public health. Do you know of any good apartments for future grad students in Atlanta?

    • @LivinginAtlanta
      @LivinginAtlanta  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unfortunately, apartments fall under the "Commercial" catergory and I don't get too involved in those transactions. However, I could easily find you a single family home, townhouse or condo to rent when the time comes.

      Easy enough. That gives you a lot of options. Now itll come down to whether you are buying or renting, how much you want to pay (monthly/total costs) then narrowing down the features, neighborhood, etc. I can vet most of that out on a 10 min whenever you have a few mins to spare. 678-918-1340. Compared to the other metro areas our size in the US, this is false. Our cost of living is one of the lowest in the country and our industries are some of the highest paying in their specific fields.
