When I lived in Harlowe NC there was an old black guy who played the blues on one of these. He lived in the trailer behind mine and I would bring a couple six packs of PBR and we would crack crabs drink beer and play music. His main guitar was an ancient no name guitar he claims came from Sears. But he would break out the cigar box for a laugh
