I was on the Milwaukee River and the feedbag was just getting started and this is Volume 1.
I hit the river 5 more times into November and the fishing got better each time with more big fish slamming the Ned rig on the KastKing Kestrel Elite paired with a Cashion Icon BFS 6' 10" casting rod.
Once the water temp started to dip into the 30s the fish started to wind down for winter. - กีฬา
Smallmouth are always a blast to catch
First time seeing any of your videos. Lot of respect for your setup and gear and overall nice job with the video. I can see myself getting a rig like that someday !
Thanks :-) I started out with a Viper Kayak from Menards :-) Took awhile but I eventually upgraded every couple of years :-)
Nice vid! One release cam is probably good enough lol
Whenever you catch a 19, you need to listen to Hey Nineteen by Steely Dan.
Hmm sounds like a good idea for a short video 😁
The 19 had a beautiful pattern. Great fish.
@@BanksOpenKayakFishing Thanks :-)
Do you ever fish the root river near Caledonia/Racine?
Hi Tom, I have but not for a long time. When I did I have caught crappies, bluegill, rock bass, largemouth bass and Pike. There are Smallmouth below the horlick dam also and might be a few above the dam but I have never caught a smallmouth in the root river above the dam. The largemouth were all mostly on the small side but there are bigger ones in there :-)
Which part of the mke river you fish?
Hi, all over. Mostly the sections that are bigger kayak friendly.
Nice, I fish the Milwaukee River a lot too. But seems like where u at, it's not shore fishable or wading. It be nice running into you one day!
Yep, need deeper water for the kayak :-) It's good all the way from West Bend to Milwaukee :-)
I fish a lot on the Northside of Milwaukee, waters more shallower but like kletzsch park all the way up to grafton.
