And also I love how he sais that he doesnt get really often his tribute summon effects when playing with this deck because he usually pulls him out with Geartown or Catapult. Dude, just catapult into your geartown, bring Gear Gadget and Wyvern, Search for Reactor Dragon, summon him and BOOM

No overload fusion? And Crooked Cook was just ruled... Geartown will miss timing when it's destroyed by Crooked Cook's effect, even if you didn't destroy any monsters.
It was ruled on my local judge's facebook page, so as far as Utah is concerned crooked cook doesnt work with geartown... Which doesnt make any sense to me but I do what they tell me. Their argument is crooked cook's effect will attempt to resolve as much as possible therefore geartown will miss timing since Crooked Cooks ATK gain is the last thing to happen (attempt to happen).
Yugioh NL In a "Do A then B" scenario, even if the B does nothing, it still is apart of the activated effect and has to be accounted for. I understand where the confusion can come from, especially from effects that can't be activated if it would do nothing. (ie, Raigeki vs empty board, twin twister vs no spell/traps on field.) But since it was already activated, the whole thing has to resolve even if there would be no attack gain.

Only if ur bad and u chain cards around when geartown eff is resolving but none of the cards in the deck lose timing with Foes and the deck is way more consistent

DracoRogue1218 I run one ash instead of Maxx C because a lot of times people make you go first because Gears are already widely know to shit on you on the second turn.... I had a tag duel where I went second and just otked with 2 Chaos Giants one 18K one at 9K I believe cause powerbond, overload fusion,limiter removal, catapult and gear town

Koopa13 you cant do it with barrel, but with rainbow life you can do it, and even serves more for other kinda plays

My cyber dragon deck always OTKs my ancient gear deck, and this guy's advice didn't do any help.

i tried that...Alot of the cards miss timing and the metalfoes can brick you
