let me say this though on power bond if you got cyber Kirin you can tribute it you won't take any attack damage from power bond get your hands on a playset
i can see some potential to this also a little bit brick my deck also can brick sometimes i have checked only a few card changes but i believe 6/10 matches it wont and limiter removal dosnt work on giant or howitcher i also play gadjiltron think about it its an ok card
SpeCiiaLAssAss1N13 his builds pretty bad :/. I've been test playing a lot and my build is a lot more consistent than his is most likely. I win the majority of my games and can first turn one giant maybe even two one might be a 9k beat stick. My deck is a 42 card deck atm. I'm still testing. Also keep in mind with power bond into giant can't be striked.
if u special summon ancient gear wyvern and activate its effect , can u then normal summon a monster ? i ask this question because i think that set and normal summon are 2 different things
Mister Laugh Yes you can still normal summon. You can special summon as many times per turn as you can if you like. You still get 1 normal summon/set per turn regardless of how many special summons that was made. Normal summon meaning just playing a level 4 or lower monster, or tribute summoning a monster. Tribute summoning also counts as a normal summon.
Saul Good Yes he will. The Ancient Gear archtype only negates effects during the battle phase. If you activate Tyrannos effect before your opponent enters battle phase, then anything can use its effect.
Both decks have pros and cons. Gear is cheaper and easier to complete and my be seen a rouge in comparison to dinos who can be a lot stronger but will require a lot more investment. It come down to how much you want to put in and if you want to play something different to everyone else and catch them by surprise. Hope this helps.
after play testing both, i dont like how dinos feel to my play style. AG fit my all of nothing get my big monster and smash your face in sort of feel. i like fusions alot too so that is a plus. dinos will be better with upcoming support. but that doesnt mean ancient gears cant compete.
Crusher Banshee Well, unfortunately Dinos absolutely destroy ancient gears. Ancient gears are too easy to disrupt and negate because they only get protection during the battle phase or the turn their summoned using forestress. If you dont otk then you loose and the otk banks too much on getting a catapult and terra or geartown first turn. Deck doesnt adapt well. An all or nothing deck just cant cut it in the Meta right now especially when your opponent just uses Ash Blossom.
I feel like the deck is better without Powerbond and multiple copies of Overload Fusion. Ancient Gear Reborn is a minimum 2 of imo. I play 3 personally. Card is nuts.

if you put AG gadget at 3 then use machine dup, it can shut out trap, spell and monster effects. plus it's also fuel for giant and howitzer

if you can get catapult to grabe without using the 1st effect via twin twister or foolish burial goods, you can use the grave effect of catapult.

In this build I don't have the targets really with only 1 box and 2 ancient gears, but yes you can play dupe if you add more of those in.
If you didnt know you use the effect of ancient gear gadget to change his name to gold or silver and then machine dup them out
