Hi! Ive always had really clear skin until recently. Recently, ive been breaking out in areas ive never had acne before. I have combination and super sensitive skin (due to skin asthma). Ive also noticed more blackheads and whiteheads. Is there anything you can suggest for me? :(
I would calm my sensitive skin if i were you. To rebuild your skin barrier before trying to use any exfoliant for blackheads or whiteheads as they could be very irritating. And you may use spot treatment for your acne so that you are not applying it all over your face. And you can use more mild acids for exfoliation/help with the blackheads such as mandelic acid, malic acid, lactic acid. But if these are still too strong for you, try PHA. this is much more mild. I am afraid you will need to first calm down the sensitivity before treating your acne or blackheads. Hope this helps.

I wouldn’t use two cleanser at the same time, it could be too much for your skin. Maybe you can use it on alternate night? One night with your ordinary cleanser and then this cleanser next evening. And yes you can use it with the HA serum.
you will need to see how your skin reacts and also what problem are you trying to solve. If you are happy with the good morning ph cleanser and it is giving you good results, then stick to it. you don't need to buy another cleanser just for the evening. And if you have acne problem, you can use this cleanser on days you have acne. I hope this helps.
Hi! Can I use BHA toner after using this cleanser? or should I use other days when I don't use this cleanser? or should I use my BHA toner every other day instead of buying this cleanser?
if your toner is helping your skin concern, you may not need another product to tackle your problem. But if your toner is not good enough, you could give this cleanser a try. And just use the cleanser to see if it helps. And if it is not enough, can add the BHA toner to see the effect. I am sorry I couldn't give you a simple yes or no answer. As each of our skin is very different and react differently, its best is to test it in different ways to utilize these products :)

yes, you may give this a try. The salicylic acid inside the cleanser may help with some mild exfoliation. But I think you can go for exfoliating toner, or mask to help with it if acne isn't really your concern. This cleanser might be too drying for you.
Hi!😍My skin type is oily and acne prone, I want to try this cleanser because my friend said this cleanser is suitable for my skin type. Can I use it twice a day? morning and night .... I'm worried that my skin will be tense if I use it often.
My skin pimple bump bumpi(?),acne scar and my skin is normal i Don't know which cleanser fit with my skin can you recommended?please it's first 1 i Wanna i tried please reply🥺
acne scar you can use a chemical exfoliant, products that contain AHA/BHA. The product I use is the ordinary Peeling Solution. But if you think it's too strong for your skin, you can go for a more gentle exfoliant such as the lactic acid toner from the ordinary. The chemical exfoliant would also help with the pimples and bump. This cleanser would also help to get rid of the pimples on your skin, so you can give this product a try :)
thanks for your message. Unfortunately, this cleanser won't do much for fungal acne, and I dunno fungal acne enough to recommend any products. And I dun think it will help with milia as the cleanser isn't a strong exfoliating agent, so it could only help to calming acne. I hope this answers your question.
Since this pandemic started and I've been quarantined in my house, I suffered from close comedones and constant pimples. I'm 27 and this is the first time that I've experienced this. I've tried lots of remedies but it's still there. Nothing happened. So I'm wondering if the cosrx bha would help me since I've heard a lot of good things about it. Removing textured skin, etc.
thank you for your message. I am sorry to hear that you got this situation recently. I have not tried Cosrx BHA Power Liquid, so I cannot share my own personal experience. And by looking at the ingredients, it contains Betaine Salicylate and willow bark water. All these help clear the congestion within your pores, and in your case the close comedones. But Betaine Salicylate is relatively gentle when compared to Salicylic acid. If yours isn't too difficult to get rid of, this product can mildly help. Otherwise, you may want to turn to use Salicylic Acid instead.
@@darshannasare I stopped using the other products and just been using the face wash for a while now...umm..well...I don't see any difference..the acne never stops 😓.. Moreover, I would say it was better before I started using all these products. Currently, I'm taking Tetracycline (orally).. been 2 months since I started taking it..this antibiotic contributes a lil in minimizing the already turned out pimples..but the pimples do come out every other day 😓.. . And I've also started using an ointment named 'Benoxilin' which is basically benzoyl peroxide. But honestly tho, there's no significant improvement at all 😣.. And I am terribly depressed, not even frustrated , bit depressed about this whole thing. With all being said, I still am using the Cosrx cleanser.
Yes! I use the ordinary peeling solution 2 times a week together with this cleansing. But if you have sensitive skin and dry skin, I wouldn’t use the glycolic that frequent.
From what i know mixing acids isnt a great idea, especially if they are acids that exfoliate like salycilic and glycolic acid, it can dry the skin a lot, however if the concentration of acid is smaller so you arent using straight up pure acid then it shouldnt be much of a problem. I think it would be a great idea to not use them togheter that often so lets say in one day you use the salycilic acid cleanser and in another day you use the glycolic acid toner for example, i think it would be better to alternate. I hope that made sense.
Yes it’s good bc salicylic acid ans niacinamide are a good pairing with very healing properties !! but after the moisturizer don’t forget to put on sunscreen in the morning only !! At night just do your usual routine but without the sunscreen!
yes with the niacinamide. as for lactic acid, it depends on your skin type. if your skin is dry skin, using lactic acid right after might be too much for the skin. but if your skin is normal / combination oily skin, it's alright.
this cleanser really helped with my acne, so you may give this a try. Or you can get cleansers that contains Salicylic Acid. This cleanser has 0.5%. Hope this will answer your question :)
not directly as it mainly calms down any acne from happening. You may need to use AHAs (like glycolic acid/malic acid/mandelic acid) to help lighten the scars or the redness.
Yes niacinamide and SA are sooooo good together unfortunately the ordinary serum with niacinamide dried and irritated my skin due to the high amount of it
I am sorry I personally haven't tried the Cerave SA cleanser, so I wouldn't be able to give you a review. But I will definitely but that in my to-try list :)
i can only help with acne, not so much for blackhead due to the fact that only 0.5% of salicylic acid is included. and yes you can use it as a morning cleanser if you have oily combination skin. if you have dry I would only use it once a day.
it can mildly clear your pores as it only contains 0.5% of salicylic acid. In my case, I have quite a lot of blackheads and bigger pores towards the center of my face, I didn't see much of a difference for my pores or blackheads. So it depends on how bad your blackheads and pores are. If you are looking for products that can prevent blackheads and minimize the appearance of your pores, try using exfoliating toner that contains 2% salicylic acid. I personally use the ordinary peeling solution to help keep my pores clear. because I didn't want my skin to be reliant on salicylic acid.
I don’t know fungal acne enough to give you an answer. But the cleanser contains a bit of tea tree oil which has antiseptic and anti fungal properties. But I don’t think it has enough to treat fungal acne as it is caused by fungus instead of bacteria. So the cleanser might not make a huge difference ...
Not really. To prevent pigmentation or acne scar, you want to wear good sunscreen with high UVA coverage. And you also want to regularly use chemical exfoliate like AHA to help get rid of those dark pigment on your skin.
@@smarttproducts I had been using the DHC deep cleansing oil. But it depends on your skin type. The DHC one might be too heavy for people with oily/combination skin.

Welcome😊 thanks for the info. Actually I'm currently using it now and it's my first time using it. I think i'm going to like this cleanser because i have an oily skin. So i do really hope it well work ,as well for my chin breakout.😉😉
Is the bumps acne or white heads? I would suggest that you try using products with Salicylic acid 2%. It can help clear out white heads or closed comedones. But if you are not sure what they are, I can’t really recommend anything as I wouldn’t know what kind of skin conditions you have. It can be milia, it can be rosacea...
This cleanser doesn’t help fade acne scar, it mainly helps calm down inflamed acne. To fade acne scar, you can exfoliate regularly or use retinol to help exfoliate dead skin cell. And so the scar can eventually fade away. Or you can also try to use products with vitamin C (ascorbic acid). Hope this helps.
@@nurfatinafifah the percentage contained in the cleanser isn't high enough to help fade the scars. i mean it theoretically can ever so slightly. so if you want to fade scar quicker, gotta use something else :)

I wouldn’t use two cleanser at the same time, it could be too much for your skin. Maybe you can use it on alternate night? One night with your ordinary cleanser and then this cleanser next evening.
And yes you can use it with the HA serum.
can i use this at night and cosrx goodmorning ph cleanser in the morning?
you will need to see how your skin reacts and also what problem are you trying to solve.
If you are happy with the good morning ph cleanser and it is giving you good results, then stick to it. you don't need to buy another cleanser just for the evening.
And if you have acne problem, you can use this cleanser on days you have acne. I hope this helps.
can be used together with glycolic toner?
After 10 min
Can i use this after washing my face with a acne soap?
Is it good for combination skin and acne scars
Can a 17 years old use this product? I do have normal skin type but a bit oily on the nose area. Can I get rid of sebaceous filaments? Also can I use it morning and night? I don't have acne my main problem is my sebaceous filaments. Thank you!
yes, you may give this a try. The salicylic acid inside the cleanser may help with some mild exfoliation.
But I think you can go for exfoliating toner, or mask to help with it if acne isn't really your concern. This cleanser might be too drying for you.
@@skincareli Thank you, can I try the AHA/BHA Cosrx Toner instead?
Hi!😍My skin type is oily and acne prone, I want to try this cleanser because my friend said this cleanser is suitable for my skin type. Can I use it twice a day? morning and night .... I'm worried that my skin will be tense if I use it often.
I use it twice a day and it works great for me. I have a combination skin.
What moisturizer u have used with this cleanser?plz say🥺
@@artschool2002 minimalist ceramide mouitoziser
Hi! How does the actual product smell? It's my first time to buy from an online store.
it has a bit of citrusy kind of scent.
Hi..does this cleanser cleanse sunscreen(zinc oxide based) or do i need to use one more oil based cleanser?? anyone knows???
Nope
I have fungal acne in my forehead i have tiny bumps on my nose and milia under my eye, i have dry skin would you recommend me to use this im just 14
thanks for your message.
Unfortunately, this cleanser won't do much for fungal acne, and I dunno fungal acne enough to recommend any products.
And I dun think it will help with milia as the cleanser isn't a strong exfoliating agent, so it could only help to calming acne.
I hope this answers your question.
OMG I HAVE THOSE TOO
WE ALSO HAVE THE SAME AGE
Can this use with cosrx ac collection moisturizer???
Yes
Can use for teenager? I'm 14 years old.
Would you recommend this for dry sensitive skin?
no
Hi. I have deep whiteheads. Can I use the cosrx bha power liquid?
Otherwise, you may want to turn to use Salicylic Acid instead.
do you use that product 3x a day? like when you wake up do you that? going to bath do you use that? and before you sleep do you use that?
I use it 2x a day, but sometimes 1x a day. It depends on whether I need to use it in the morning.
is this good for dry skin type? i have enlarged pores on my cheeks and blackheads on my nose
might not be good for dry skin as this is actually quite drying.
Can i use this cleanser daily bcs i hve tiny bumps
Hey, I've started using it with some other products. It does clean good but I'm having the worst breakout I ever had after using these....😔

I have open pores & whiteheads issue, can i use it?
yes definitely. it can slightly help to clear your pores. but I wouldn't recommend this if you have dry or dehydrated skin.
@@skincareli thank you
Can I use it with the ordinary glycolic acid?
Hello, is it good if I use this cleanser and after that I put a Niacinamide 5% serum and then Moisturizer?
Yes it’s good bc salicylic acid ans niacinamide are a good pairing with very healing properties !! but after the moisturizer don’t forget to put on sunscreen in the morning only !! At night just do your usual routine but without the sunscreen!
Yes absolutely! The cleanser is a wash off product, so it won't counter act with what you use afterwards.
Can i use this with the ordinary niacinamide and lactic acid?
yes. cz it's just a wash off product. it wouldn't disturb the effectiveness of niacinamide and lactic acid
yes with the niacinamide. as for lactic acid, it depends on your skin type. if your skin is dry skin, using lactic acid right after might be too much for the skin. but if your skin is normal / combination oily skin, it's alright.
can i use it with benzoyl peroxide bcoz i have whiteheads
it should be okay as this cleanser only has 0.5% of salicylic acid. But test it out on your skin first, as I don't 100% know how your skin is.
I use in night
Which moisturizer will be best to use after this cleanser?
celetque
Can I use this twice a day? Morning and night?
yes you can use it twice a day if you have oily combination skin. only use it once if you have dry skin.
Music is very loud
Is this good for teenager combination skin??? Pls reply plsssss it's very important 🙏 pls tell me I have acne and acne scares
this cleanser really helped with my acne, so you may give this a try. Or you can get cleansers that contains Salicylic Acid. This cleanser has 0.5%. Hope this will answer your question :)
@@skincareli yeah 💜 thank you so much 🥰
cosrx salicylic acid can remove fungal acne?
I have PIE. Is it works if i use this cleanser?
not directly as it mainly calms down any acne from happening.
You may need to use AHAs (like glycolic acid/malic acid/mandelic acid) to help lighten the scars or the redness.
Ini ada fragrance ny ga kak?
Is this okay for use day and night? My skin is combination. Already used for 4 days, got few pimples coming.
cover it up with hydrating product . sometime , this cleanser can cause dryness .
better using it just once a day at night
Can I use this if Im using tretinoin cream at night
yes
personally nililiha ko muna mukha ko hanggang dumugo para magrenew yung cells
yes definitely. this salicylic acid is a wash off item so it will not counter react to your Vitamin A cream.
can i use it with the ordinary niacinamide?
Yes niacinamide and SA are sooooo good together unfortunately the ordinary serum with niacinamide dried and irritated my skin due to the high amount of it
absolutely!
Do you recommend this SA cleanser or the cerave SA cleanser, i have acne prone skin some bumps and oily skin which one is better
I am sorry I personally haven't tried the Cerave SA cleanser, so I wouldn't be able to give you a review. But I will definitely but that in my to-try list :)
Cerave is better
@@darshannasareCerave gave me tiny bumps all over my face, I used it for like 4 weeks and my face looked so bad, I’m so scared to buy something else😔
Do she use it everyday?
does it cleanse your blackhead? and can i use it as morning daily cleanser?
i can only help with acne, not so much for blackhead due to the fact that only 0.5% of salicylic acid is included.
and yes you can use it as a morning cleanser if you have oily combination skin. if you have dry I would only use it once a day.
can I use niacinamide serum after using this?
yes! this is not a leave-on product, so it wouldn't counter react to your niacinamide.
Can i use it with the peeling solution of the ordinary ?
yes definitely. But you want to see how your skin react if it would be too drying for your skin :)
Can it prevent blackheads formation and minimize pores?
it can mildly clear your pores as it only contains 0.5% of salicylic acid.
Can we use it daily for dry skin?
Is it fungal acne safe?
Is it good for fungal acne? Great video..liked it a lot!
@@skincareli ok tysm
this cleanser good for preventing black spots or pimple marks ?
Not really. To prevent pigmentation or acne scar, you want to wear good sunscreen with high UVA coverage.
And you also want to regularly use chemical exfoliate like AHA to help get rid of those dark pigment on your skin.

I have dry skin and it looks bumpy bumpy can you recommend something for me ?
Is the bumps acne or white heads?
I would suggest that you try using products with Salicylic acid 2%. It can help clear out white heads or closed comedones.
But if you are not sure what they are, I can’t really recommend anything as I wouldn’t know what kind of skin conditions you have. It can be milia, it can be rosacea...

Hi.. Is it okay for acne scars too?
This cleanser doesn’t help fade acne scar, it mainly helps calm down inflamed acne.
To fade acne scar, you can exfoliate regularly or use retinol to help exfoliate dead skin cell. And so the scar can eventually fade away. Or you can also try to use products with vitamin C (ascorbic acid). Hope this helps.
@@skincareli ahh hehe I read that this cleanser can also fade acne scar.. Alright... Thankyou for your information
@@nurfatinafifah the percentage contained in the cleanser isn't high enough to help fade the scars. i mean it theoretically can ever so slightly. so if you want to fade scar quicker, gotta use something else :)
can I use this 2 times in a day?
only if u have combo oily skin!! if u have dry skin only once :)
I sometimes use 2 times a day, one in the morning, one in the evening. But use it in the morning only if you have really oily skin, otherwise, go for something gentle for the morning.
