    Fair analysis. BYU fan and I would have picked KSU for this game. They are very athletic and an excellent team. BYU defense looks elite. They held an SMU team that put 66 points on TCU to 15 points and held KSU to 9. Hopefully BYU can sustain some momentum to represent the conference well.

      @@9474sammus Utah should handily win the conference and make the new cfp easily this year. Anything less would be underachieving. They are coming off 2 power conference titles.
      I think 3 conference wins for BYU would be good enough progress this year. More would be overachieving. Utah got 3 in their 2nd season in a power conference, and 2 in their third. That is a good measuring stick. Same region. BYU has some extra recruiting difficulty. Takes time.
      Will be interesting to see if byu can compete faster, or if it will take 11 seasons and 6 OCs to win something. Who knows?? It feels right to see main-rivals in the same conference. Would be great to see the rivalry game be the last game, and for the title, as in decades past.

      I get there was some frustration on KState's part -- thinking they probably left too many pts on the field in the 1st half -- & wanting really badly to make some of them up in the closing minute. Stat-wise & performance-wise, you guys had no reason to think you wouldn't probably win the 2nd half as well as the 1st. And you of course would like to keep a healthy lead away from home.
      Tough, tough meltdown for a young QB to take on the chops, I'm sure.

    lol, we’re 4 games in and talking like Kansas State was a national champion. As a BYU fan, the Big 12 hasn’t yet seen what they can do, this is not surprising. BYU could easily lose a few games, but occasionally being explosive has been in their DNA for a long time. Great win, but I think we focus way too much on preseason rankings, and a few games in, we still don’t know which teams are any good yet.

  • @dalecaswell4217
    @dalecaswell4217 15 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +3

    Some nights you just run into a buzz saw. Before KState started giving away all their appliances & furniture w under 2 remaining in the first half -- I think I speak for most Y fans in saying I didn't know how we could compete with their offensive speed & their Front-7 push. We were feeling VERY fortunate to be down only 3 versus an opponent who moved at will on us.
    That final score was an absolute anomaly. And frankly, it's the best I've seen BYU perform in a long, long time. It gives me hope we can continue to improve as a team even if our most talented RB continues to be an absentee -- or is never able to give us close to 100% when he returns.

    K-State can comeback. They were down 10 at halftime at Tulane and won. AJ is a good passer he just let the moment get to him last night and receivers dropped balls that made his stats worse. Three penalties negated three TDs including two AJ touchdowns. The only thing that needs reevaluating is the offense to get more aggressive with AJ's running game. The five minute stretch that sent the score from 6-3 to 6-31 was fluky. K-State and AJ will bounce back.

Kansas was controlling the line of scrimmage in the first 2 drives. Then the crowd took over. How many false starts? At least 6. Kansas running back fumbles, and the rout was on. Dumb interception, in your territory. Then, instead of Kingston getting caught on his own 2 yard line he breaks the tackle and runs it for a touchdown. People underestimate the home field crowd.
