I think the point about only tempo being effective against the Penn State's defense is a big one. It's probably necessary to use tempo if you want to have a good chance against them. At a couple points in the game, when Oregon was up by two scores, you saw they tried to slow things down on offense and burn some clock, but the Penn State defense was all over them instantly. Also, big credit to their offense. It was highly effective. Penn State's A-game is damn good.
Poor #41 on PSU defense got so gassed he threw up in the red zone
Very cool to see Earby and McCoy get some credit. They have been challenged all season. A healthy OL also helps Jeanty.
Refs won the game for Oregon. Oregon played without a lot of sportsmanship. Bullies! Not a single holding call all game. It was blatant. Not imnpressed.
Oregon defensive has to do better go forward. Go Ducks 🦆
"I say I'm 5'10 on my Hinge profile" lmao. No shame in your game, go head bro.
Odd take here. Uga beat tx twice..but Tx better team? Not logical. Tx has better wide outs, sone players better per position. 9verall, program, defense, run game, coaching..all uga all day. Tx not better team. Lol
Almost like Georgia defense was really good 👍🏻
I think we will see another Travis hunter type player sooner than we will see Jeanty’s records being broken and potentially Barry Sanders record being broken.
Go to high school football games and you will see a bunch of Travis Hunter types.
congrats to boise st. everyone raves about jeanty but it was the qb play that decided this one early. madsen becomes aaron rodgers vs unlv. unlv was outcoached and unprepared, which kinda is understandable when your hc is auditioning for a p4 school. modern college sports, what can you do
Should have PFF grades on referees. When a defender is tackling a runner with an O-lineman draped on his back, when the call is incomplete pass but video shows obvious catch, and when there’s massive amount of uncalled holding by Oregon O-line, then the referees are giving away a game.
Jeanty is going up against Air Force and Wyoming. Let’s be real, I can run for 1k in the mountain west.
Dude ran 200 yards for 3 TDs against Oregon. Every conference has bad teams. And it's not like Colorado had a difficult schedule this year. How many ranked opponents did they play? They had like the cushiest schedule in an already subpar Big12 season.
I was absolutely impressed with my Nittany Lions 🦁 offensive line, 290 yards rushing and over 500 total yards, and barely any pressure on Drew!!!!
Everybody who likes Ohio state going all the way must think their oline is going to pass protect longing than 2 seconds. Early season oline would have no problem
2 five star quaterbacks! How much would they have gotten if they came out now in some crazy bidding war? Would they have been worth it?
Wins count, bad comments on Social Media don’t. I will say this, 🦆 Quack! We love this new Neighborhood. Your Fans Are so confused and Angry. That’s why Children should not get Participation Trophies. They grow up poor sports when their teams lose.
If D Harmon doesn’t commit that dumb ass penalty, PSU would have had to punt and Ducks get great field position and score. This game should have been 15+ points. Hats off to PSU but I think they sold and gave everything they had and this game was never as close as the score indicates. If Ducks played a complete game on defense it would have been over by the 3rd quarter.
Like I said the refs won that game for Oregon. watch the tapes. Not a single holding call or any kind of call. Ducks played dirty and unsportsmanlike. It was ugly.
@@DeanOverholtboth teams were holding
The Ducks’ receivers seemed to be running at 1.25X speed on my iPad they were so fast.
Tough loss. If you would have told me PSU would put up 37 and run for almost 300 yards I would have taken it in a second. The Oregon Offense is out of its tree. Oregon played a flawless offensive game. The only mistake was Gabriels' fumble, but he recovered it. No mistakes really by Oregon. If PSU get that fumble could have changed things, but he was able to get it. Just goes to show how close some of these games are. Congrats to Oregon, they deserved to win. Both defenses need to play a lot better going forward though.
This was Oregon’s 2nd worst performance on defense this season. They played horrible but made plays when it counted. I agree they got 2 weeks to figure things out and fix it.
in a rematch PSU wins big time. Refs won that game for the Ducks. a 12th player in black and white. No calls at all and there was a lot of holding and foul talk/play. Bullies. Not impressed. Johnson was was truly impressive in this game.
LET’S GO!!!
Oregon has both physicality and speed.
BOISE!!!!!
Thing that was just obvious yesterday & the 1st game that I should of mentioned more is the Texas offense legit looks scared of the Georgia D & how they hit.
Nothing to do with being scared. Texas run blocking schemes(outside zone) don't work against Georgia. Bulldogs too athletic. Quinn ewers looks like a pussy against every team he has played this year though.
The pac 12 was underrated because a lot of east coast fans and writers couldn’t stay up late at night to watch their games. The pac 12 teams all had to travel long distances on a regular basis as well. I don’t think a lot of the B1G teams are acclimated to that kind of travel yet.
Fuggin frustrating. They made Harrington play a shit Colorado team instead of the title game. Man
Right cause USC, Washington, and UCLA had stellar transitions lol. Oregon is an exception, not the rule, as far as pac-12 teams transitioning to the big 10.
@ emphasis on WAS.
Where was Abdul Carter in this game? Go Ducks
He was getting held a lot, just like Burch and Mateao
@@jacksnowden3546 I don’t believe Mateo even recorded a tackle
@@sparkyplug788 yeah he didn’t. I saw him get tackled multiple times and once got dragged down by his hair
Duh. He was being held most of the time.
The PSU offensive line played their best game of the season.
Best team in the country 💯
GO DUCKS!
Still on cloud 9! B1G Champs 🏆 Go Ducks! 🦆
Cam on Boise has as good if not better numbers than jeanty
Imagine Giving Cam 30 carries a game 😳
How are you the better team if you can’t finish drives? This is also the second time they saw Georgia. Only second time since 1909 that a team beat Texas twice in the same season and the first time since 1999 in the SEC? Texas wasn’t the better team yesterday. Also it’s so disrespectful of Georgia’s defense in the red-zone or “red-area.”
Kickers makes easy FGs, and your comment is irrelevant ... Georgia didn't "stop" Texas from making FGs ... we did ... we were obviously the more talented team and dominated all but a couple of drives ... fluke play, after fluke play TWO fumbles on the same drive that jumped perfectly back for Georgia? Another QB fumble that bounced 40 yards from the short hash all the way out of bounds 😂😂😂 ... INT late with the whole field in front, and our other DB is just watching instead of blocking 😂😂😂 But our QB sucks, I'll give you that ... Ewers made you bums look great when it mattered, missing wide open players in the red zone 😂
Exactly. These clowns
Herd looked good in this win! Go Herd!!
Numbers dont lie. But football is unpredictable.. Go Dawgz...!! 1.and 2 deadass..😂
Wow you guys nailed this in the head. 22-19 UGa won. Good job
Let this man develop behind Derrick Henry and he’s going to be a monster, or saquon
He is a game away from breaking Barry’s record…and unfortunately, he won’t win it. Even though he sat out almost 6 full quarters of this years’ games!!! He will be the second BSU player to get screwed out of a Heisman Trophy. Kellen Moore…didn’t win it either. But has a college football stat that will never be broken. A starting record of 50-3.
It would be nice if you would have at least mentioned who your finalist were for each award.
What Jeanty is doing hasn’t been done in decades, but what Hunter is doing hasn’t been done ever.
Clones smoked my parlay - first leg too 🤝😭
Lol but travis isnt good at either position. Somebody should clip this up and let these ppl know travis is top 1 on both sides of the ball
He’s just a beeg wr, he needs to improve in actually being a TE
Pressure him but keep a spy on him to keep him contained in the pocket. You can’t let him just sit in the pocket and pick you apart or lose contain on him because he will take off running. We saw him at Oklahoma and when we didn’t do these things against him he had a huge game beating us on the ground and through the air last year.
The stats behind Travis don't back any Heisman candidacy...not even close.
1100 yds 15 TDs and then the best CB in college football isn't the Heisman? Don't be a moron
@@termination09 His offensive stats are padded against the weakest teams Colorado has played...look it up
@paulsantos3274 I know how stats. I watched every game. He put up good numbers in every game he played in except KSU when he got injured, and then UA when they took him out at half because injury/28-7 lead.
@@termination09 Opposing teams stack 6-7 players to stop Ashton. Yet, he still excels..how would Hunter play with 6-7 DB's stacked against him?..8 of Hunters 14 TD's are against Oky St, North Dakota state and Kansas...furthermore, he plays with an incredible qb...who does Ashton have? His offense is overrated and he has not done enough on the defensive end to be awarded a Heisman..he poses well, I'll give him that
In the Mountain West. @@paulsantos3274
Ashton 🏆will break the all-time single-season yards for a college football player if he has half of his average in the next game Ashton broke the NCAA record for yards after contact in a single season through just eight games this year, and he still going carrying his team through the playoffs now against multiple top 10 rundefenses. Meanwhile, what is Travis Hunter doing? Losing to 3 unranked teams and one with a losing record. Give me a break.
I like how you used Jeanty's personal stats and then said Hunter's TEAM lost games lol idiotic logic
It will be a big joke if Travis wins the Heisman!
It will be a big joke if Travis doesn’t win the Heisman.😏
Great pick. 😂. Not! Go Army!
I really don't understand the list of top 10 recruits not including Jonah Williams who committed to Texas. Williams is a legitimate top 5 recruit in the nation, let alone top 10. Considering how well Texas has consistently recruited over the past 4 years, how the coaching staff has developed those recruits, and how successful the football team has been on the field the past 2 seasons, it is now time for the Longhorns to win a national championship. "Hook Em"
Ashton just won the Heisman, dragging his team to a 12 victory. Ashen has twice the yards after contact than Hunter does in total yards, if Hunter was so good why don’t they throw the ball to him every time and why isn’t he leading his team to wins over ranked teams like Ashton is, however, Colorado has three losses to unranked The teams and one even has a losing record
Lotta words when you could just say you don't know ball
These chaps are interesting football people
So how'd those predictions work out???😂 GO ARMY!! BEAT NAVY!! 🏈
Hope you 2 don’t have a Heisman vote. Because, of Travis win the Heisman man. Look out for the way of way players. Especially when all they have to do is make it top 5 in both offensive or defensive. The Heisman is more than just stats. It’s also being the best player, most electric on your team. Being that X-Factor. Jayden Daniels, had 3 losses. Two of which were top 5 teams and the 3rd was 11th. I’m sorry, but Hunter isn’t an X-Factor. All you have to do to scheme around Hunter Offensively is run the ball at him. Like Kansas did. All you have to do defensively, is roll a safety over to take away hunters half of the fields. He did nothing in the 4th Quarter to will his team past a sub .500 team in their conference. A Kansas team that had a RB with 207 yards rushing. The same RB that UNLV held to 120 yds. The same defense that held Ashton Jeanty to 128 off of 33 carries @ 3.9 yds a carry. Jump to the Mountain West Conference game. And Jeanty has his revenge. 209 off of 32 carries @ 6.5 yds a carry. Jeanty has been on how many 4th quarter drives getting the game winning TD. Or setting up the game winner, this season. Willing his team to victory. With a win over 20th ranked UNLV. Snap count vs Carries. The cancel each other out as far as work load is concerned. Then to go off of stats alone. With at how Jeanty isn’t just leaning all other RBs in stats measurable stats. But in PFFs as well. By leaps and bounds. How he is the reason why they are 11-1 l. He is the reason they even had a chance against #1 Oregon. If the don’t over pursue running lanes on each punt and kick returns. Boise could have won by 7 or went into OT. Those are what winning the Heisman is about. Sorry, I think the Heisman voters that watched the MWC game. Saw how much Ashton affected the game, even when he is not even carrying the ball. BSU dropped some catches off of play action that would have kept drives alive, in the 4th. Jeanty just has to convince enough voters that he is deserving of 1st place votes.
Snap counts and carries do not cancel each other. One guarantees the ball in your hands while the other only grants the ability to make the play. These are not equal. Additionally, Travis is, objectively, rated a top 5 WR & CB. Subjective opinions may qualify the decision but the PFF and statistical data objectively quantifies it. Facts over feelings.
"Not now babe, I gotta finish my dissertation on how much I hate Travis Hunter."
NIGGA, WE ARE NOT GOING TO DISCOUNT BEING TOP 5 AT 2 POSITIONS BECAUSE YALL HATE DEION AND COLORADO! It’s over 6,000 players in the Power Conferences alone and probably 10,000-12,000 players in FBS college football! Top 5 is An elite player, especially at power conference level! He was 1st in receiving touchdowns in power conferences, 2nd in receiving yards in power conferences, 3rd in interceptions for power conferences! NOT A MICKEY MOUSE LEAGUE!! 10/13 Jeanty games where against FCS competition or group of 5 competition! TRAVIS IS BY FAR THE BEST CORNER In the nation arguably the best WR!! 1 of 1!
