    The notion of a flawless marriage or relationship is a myth. There's no set formula for success; what works for one couple may not work for another. Yet, I've discovered that there's always a way forward, even in the most challenging times. Five years ago, my wife and I encountered significant hurdles in our marriage that nearly led to divorce. Despite the adversity, we managed to weather the storm and emerge from it with our bond renewed and revitalised.

    Yessss! I recently learned from Bashar that most people use visualization incorrectly when it comes to manifestation. The whole purpose of the visual is to get you feeling the excitement for what you want, then let the imagery go so you can allow the Universe to surprise you with something even greater than you may have imagined! IT WORKS ❤

    I use visualization at work because I present and facilitate a lot for work. Then, when it came time to train for my 5th marathon (Boston Marathon) this past April, I came across your visualization episode and used it as one of my training goals. Mel, it was a game changer. I broke out the course in digestible chunks; learned the hill grades; ran the Newton hills a couple of times; and used your mother-in-laws meditative saying “Sa Ta Na Ma” to train my mind to run without music. It was the best marathon experience. Thank you for all the positive things you put out into the world. I’ve learned a lot from you. I hope to one day meet you (visualizing as we speak.🧘‍♀️😊).

    Mel, I love how you highlighted the power of visualization for athletes! It’s incredible how vividly imagining success can prepare the mind and body to achieve it in real life. This is such a powerful tool not just in sports, but in any area where we’re striving to reach our goals. Thanks for reminding us of the impact of a strong mental picture!

    This video sheds light on the "Bronze Medal Mindset," a refreshing perspective where bronze medalists often feel more satisfied than silver medalists, emphasizing gratitude and contentment. It highlights how success is not just about winning but appreciating what we achieve. The video also shares four other habits of Olympians, likely focusing on goal-setting, resilience, and continuous learning-key takeaways for anyone aiming to excel. A concise and inspiring watch for those interested in personal growth and success psychology.

    I think it is important to visualize yourself doing what it takes to get where you want, and the feeling of you once you have achieved your goal. Why? Because once you are there, you feel so proud, grateful, the fear is gone and you feel totally at ease with your results. This is also a key in the feeling when you visualize.

    In islam, there is a hadith which teaches us about the Bronze Medal Mindset. It says to always have gratitude and look upon people who are lesser than you.

      Be kind to the people have less in life, help them and don't look down on them.. not necessarily Hadith but it's one of the 5 pillars of Islam and its called Zakat, mentioned in quran. Hope that clarifies your question Karen @@jankelley550

      No offence and with all due respect, Not sharing is better than sharing unclear or incomplete info because it confuses people, specially when it's not referenced or translated accurately. Just saying

    • @besaarmena1454
      @besaarmena1454 28 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Who are lesser than you sounds like Islam looks down on people.. in the 5 pillars of Islam you give "zakat " you are obligated to give to people who have less money or no money ofcourse only if you have the money, food , cloth what ever you can to help..

    Yes very enjoyable podcast. The take home messages are great. The visualization or feeling yourself doing the task you want to become good at.
    I live the end when you say you need to honestly ask yourself what you would like to achieve. What if you have more than one thing that you want to do?
    Should you only focus on one thing that you get good at? Look at Elon he's doing 10 things at once....LOL
