    I might have mentioned it before, my son and I are now fishing regularly on the Gulf coasts. He travels down from Sydney, then we travel together from Canberra. It doesn't surprise us, but many jetty fishers are trying to catch breakfast lunch and dinner. We predominantly catch and release, but will always donate a squid or two and a legal size fish to those who we deem to be homeless or just poor.

    Hi again Mick and Sally, Mick of years ago I heard grain vessels load up at Port Adelaide and or at Wallaroo, and then for deeper waters they go down to Port Lincoln to top up, if that is still the way they do it, I don't know, your videos are very impressive, and thank you for them very very much. Gee Dennis, sounds like you really did enjoy that one, such a lovely ares to be in. I sometimes wish that I had a few more years in the steam era before it all disappeared. I can recall some of it, but not too much.

    I just l-o-v-e those sunsets!! Wow, wouldn't it be nice to have that view permanently with glorious sunsets each night!! It would be like having a painting that always changed colour each day. I do hope that you enjoy your trip to Tasmania! It is one of my most favourite places to visit. I have done three trips - two with my Dad before he passed away & the third one on my own as he had a car accident a week before we were to leave. I much prefer visiting Tasmania in late November as the gardens are at their best this time of the year. February they were not so great. Also if you want to visit the Lavender factory, then you need to do it before they mow it down in late January/early February so I missed out on seeing the plants in all their purple glory!

    Hi again Mick and Sally, pedestrian crossings are not valued in New Delhi India, if your tired of living, your welcome to go and try to cross one, wow Mick, what a Great country we all have here in Australia, I wonder if it is going to continue to be so. Mick

      @@justcruisinwithmicksally837 Yes Mick, our country is in something not right, seems someone else is in charge, and is letting the now government to clean up the Australian traditions for them so they can bring in their own, it's hard not knowing what to do, or how to go about it, your videos are Great, sad I can't join you now and then, or try crabbing the way you do, thank you again. Once again, Mick, you haven't disappointed. Amazes me the infrastructure involved when dealing with grain exports etc (Can't provide any more knowledge than you on the conveyor belt setup, I'm afraid).
    Have you a Video of Arno Bay by any chance?

      We have not been to Arno bay since we started TH-cam so unfortunately the answer is no. We might be going that way later this year if we survive Tasmania ok.

    20:35 that's a Rotunda where the military bands used to play. In some towns with military presence, a military band will play - it's almost a lost cause.

    Nice new road up the top and down the hill at moonta caravan park that’s my work mick that was me that said Gday at the service station that morning. Tports is the new grain facility so it’s dock half way so they load out of wallaroo and lucky bay to get a full ship the Wallaroo jetty they can only half fill because the water isn’t deep enough then they go else where to fill the ship

    Bonsoir Mike. JPhB

    The grain loader there is owned by T port. Nothing really to do with the size of the ships just a different grain handler to viterra.

      Always open to suggestions of what to see while here Jan. I just Googled both and they are near Devonport and we are heading towards Stanley tomorrow morning. We will keep the locations in mind and might be able to look at them when we return back to the Devonport area prior to sailing back to Geelong.

    I dont have a 4 wheel drive or caravan. So I do appreciate you sharing your experiences with a video. I share you video with Chinese friends and other international friends. It would be good if when you show the map and showed the road that it was slower. To people not familiar with English names it happens too fast. Why doesnt the fullscreen tab work?

    • @louisebrislane6607
      @louisebrislane6607 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You do what I do, stop the video!! I do this several times on occasions, today only once as I realised that in S.A. on the York Peninsula they also have a Paramatta which we have in NSW, only ours is the second important city after Sydney itself.

    • @justcruisinwithmicksally837
      @justcruisinwithmicksally837  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Our caravan is a full on road van so any place that you see us go, you will know it is ok for something that isn't off road.
      If there is something that you would like to view and think the video is rolling too fast, hit the pause and once ready start it playing again. To run the map any slower would be a great turn off to those who know the area.
      Your full screen issue is something that unfortunately, you will have to ask someone to show you how to do it.

    20:32 Australia has the most WWI and WWII memorials in the world. I won't go politics but a Prime Minister 'decreed' that it shall be so. And so it happened. In the past, no politics, a certain Government, cut off the funding. Small towns are at the mercy of donations for upkeep.
