Amazing and excellent....thanks be to God!!!
I stand firmly in my belief that every work Bach composed, he composed for organ; especially the pieces he didn't compose for organ. It just took 350 years and the work of another true master for it to be realized.
thats why i played the goldberg variations on the organ. Just some of them though.
"Look upon his pedalwork, O ye mighty ... and despair!"
(Is a performance like this even possible?)

HANDSOME, TOO 1:20
What a huge unfathomable raising of the world's spirits especially at this time of confinement and terror!!!!....B R A V O!!!!
Brilliant performance with amazing video execution😅❤
Wow! I’ve not seen hands and feet move so quickly to play a piece of music. Brilliant performance Jonathan. Superb filming and sound Tom. Thank you so much.
What a brilliant team 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Amazing... thank you. Sounds brilliant. Love Janet x
There are composers, then there is Bach. There are organists, then there is Jonathan. Magnifico!
Incredible😍👏
Absolutely terrific. Bravo!
Fabulous ! Thank you so much for your continued excellence. What joy !!
What a transcription! The whole thing is brilliant but the big harpsichord cadenza sounds phenomenal!!
As always, a splendid performance by the consummate organist, Jonathan Scott. Bravo!
Ooh, Bach how wonderful!! What a lovely surprise! xx
Hallo!!!
Oh my incredible so amazing!
I believe that Bach would say to Jonathan you are one of my favorits organists in the world playing my music so fantastic!!
Thanks B B ❤❤With Love from the Netherlands
All smiles. This performance takes the cake...

👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Splendid surprise to start the day! One of most favourite pieces. Thank you Jonathan and Tom!
I believe that the composer might be very pleased with your transcription! Very well done and performed!
An entire ensemble in 10 fingers & 2 feet - fantastic transcription! Bravo! Gorgeous lighting. Thanks for sharing.💐 🎹🎶
Another outstanding performance. Thank you Jonathan and Tom.
I was amazed by this. I did not suppose that this music could work on the organ, but what playing and what imagination in the arrangement and its realisation on what must be a very fine organ as well.
And what a fine video. Thank you for this.
Best wishes from George George in Herefordshire.🙂
Wunderschön, wirklich hervorragend!
Supertalentoso. Ascolto ogni giorno.
Un concert de toute splendeur ! Bravo, Monsieur Bach, vous fûtes un vrai génie de la musique !!
Des pages musicales qui ne se démoderont jamais ...........!! La BEAUTE est éternelle ...
A wonderful transcription of the BWV 1050 Allegro. Well done, Jonathan !
My highly lucky that i was born in this gen and meet you. I really love your perform.
Thanks both of you and another supporter.
Admirable John. Thnx from the Netherlands
Absolutely amazing Jonathan! I love it!🤗👏👏👏👏
Unbelievable performance Jonathan. Thanks for sharing.
Just Amazing!!!
Splendid gift my Dear Brothers!
Thanks Jonathan and Tom .You are most generous sharing this magnificent rendition and video.
OUTSTANDING! Brilliant performance; I stand in awe! --I'm certain Bach himself is looking down from heaven and nodding his approval. 😇
Another beautiful performance. I'd love to see you play the Wanamaker Organ.
Great music and amazing player !
Do you ever stop and wonder “how do I know how to do this?” Just brilliant! Bothe the transcription and the performance!!
Amazing
That was absolutely amazing and beautiful. Nimble fingers and flying feet! You are simply the best Jonathan together with Tom’s wonderful filming and recording. Thank you both.
Could not have said better myself C-O-O-R-D-I-N-A-T-I-O-N Supreme! Scott-Bach!❤❤
I love how "chatty" Bach is. Jonathan, your playing and Toms video taping of this is pure perfection. This piece has been one of many favorites of mine for a long time. xx
This is an incredibly impressive arrangement.
Wonderful. Great sound and very nice arrangement.
simply fantastic.
Bravo 👏
Yet ANOTHER spectacular presentation by the sensational Scott brothers. You took a centuries old and much loved orchestral piece and gave it new life on ONE instrument transcribed and played by a master musician and captured on video by another one. I’m rather sure dear old JS Bach would be pleased if not a bit envious. Immense and heartfelt thanks to you both. May your dedicated labors be well rewarded in every way. A grateful fan in San Diego, CA.
I love this piece
Fantastic
Wow! Bravo! Your seemingly effortless virtuosity, Jonathan, belies the fact that it is the result of hours, months and years of many hard yards of practice.
This arrangement brought out voices in this much loved piece that I hadn't really paid detailed attention to, so thank you, with much respect. Col, NZ
Incredibly beautiful, both the concert and the video! I haven't heard this concert in years. I have all the Brandenburg concerts, but on vinyl and I listened to them a lot. But nothing is more enjoyable than listening to the arrangement and performance of a musician we like and admire a lot! Beautiful sound from this organ!
Thank you both for this beautiful video!
Magnifique ❤
BRAVO!!! BRAVO!!! ENCORE!!!
Magnificent!
Amazing, hands and feet going full pelt, what a workout. Just beautiful
I passed my Grade 4 organ exam at school so I have a little bit of experience of what it's like to play with feet and hands at the same time... but it still beggars belief that people can play pieces with this degree of intricacy and independence of voices. I often think that good organists must have particular types of brain that allow more four-limbed co-ordination than most people. I've speculated that this might imply they would also be good drummers... I wonder! Anyway, many thanks for this treat! Bach always makes me happy :)
Well done!!❤
Thank you, Jonathan. As usual, a beautiful performance.
Amazing and Beautiful sounds🎉💐I want tonight listen every day☺💫🍀
OMG not expected but anyway incredible
Fantastic performance👏👏👏
😮😮 awesome 🤗👏👏👏👏
Please please please do the 3rd movement of this piece I’d absolutely love to hear it. It’s never been done before on organ
Holy cow! That was played faster than Allegro, more like Presto with flying fingers and feet. Absolutely amazing!! Rather athletic too with the feet!
The Birthday Machine!
It has been my favourite Brandenburg concerto and it is a privilege to listen to it with organ. Thank you. It is an incredible performance Mr Scott. 🌼❤
Ps: my favorite part is the part starting at 3.59❤
Fantastic! Can you do the No.6 in B flat? (my favourite Brandenburg)
Amen!
Lindíssimo, Jonathan! Parabéns! Tom, as imagens estão espetaculares. 🎥📸💓💕❤😍🙌👍🎶🎹🥰😘💐✨⭐️🙋🏻♀️🙏
I would absolutely love to hear “J.S. Bach: Brandenburg Concerto No. 5 in D, BWV 1050 - 3. Allegro (II)” and “Brandenburg Concerto No. 2 in F Major, BWV 1047: III. Allegro assai” done on organ. I haven’t heard anyone do these pieces yet on organ and I know they’d sound incredible. Please make videos on these I’d absolutely love to hear them.
This piece sounded incredible btw one of my absolute favorites
What it used to mean to be human.
Like Gould on piano, the organ pieces bring out the hardships of Bach’s time
Given the problem that our local concert hall has with RAAC will the organ of St David’s Hall ever sound like this again? I do hope so! But thanks for this phenomenal performance!!
👌👌👌👌👌👌
❤❤😊😊❤❤
Remarcable performance, you are doing a great job guys, never stop believe in, Bach compositions are just like dating God Himself, maximum emotional impact, sounds like.. taking breath away indeed❤🎉❤
👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Hi, Jonathan, have you already transcribed the other two movements?
I played a 3 manual keyboard and NEVER put my shoes on the pedals...I always played in my sockings.
Excellent playing .❤
😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
Bach wrote his music for the glory of God.
Glad the roof didn’t fall in on you! St Davids Hall has been mothballed now because it’s all made of that dodgy ‘aero’ concrete!!
Why are all the comments in English???????
😮 im breath Short
I heard eith piano and Perahia
Ritcher on harpsichord
But never like this
Scott is certainly a virtuoso, and my hat is off to him for that. But I am increasingly finding that he plays many pieces too fast for his instrument. There is always a strong delay and reverb to an organ, due to the surrounding space, and that makes for a muffled experience for the ear of the listener. Slow down, Jonathan, and let us really savor the piece your transcription does such justice to.
My friend nearly died because of the poor state of this organ....cryptosporidium in the air conditioning
Yes crypto occurs in contaminated water but it does not spread via airconditioning units.Your friend probably got Legionaires Disease
Performance is too fast , so much of the music is a blur. So it down a bit.
Lots of skill, no doubt. But sounds a bit staccato and rushed. Hard to do on an organ, especially with baroque registration, but I missed phrasing.
The Problem is the dry acoustic and yes, a little bit too fast.
