i dont play yoshi myself, but i really love it when you talk about his mechanics in such detail. such an underutilized character by the majority players, its great to have a player like yourself who knows Yoshi inside and out. hopefully more Yoshi's start to appear, theyre always fun to fight
you can do forward side b and get an invincible hitbox in front of you instead of behind with the regular method for side b from ledge. also sometimes ppl will clank with side b and u can be ready for it

From my testing fair has the same ECB manipulation as nair and works the same for AIs, which is useful because you can keep holding in towards the stage and don't have to release the stick before inputting your aerial. It's still a 1 frame input that's dependent on your DJ timing, but any way to make it easier is helpful.

nope fair has less downwards ecb deflection. very slight tho
