I visited Machakos, and ate at that restaurant, the fish and ugali was on another level.
Their food is always delicious 😋. A place to always stop by.

if as a country we consistently have peacefull elections in the next 30 years we will have atleast 47 new potential cities in the country , especially if counties will get the proposed increased allocation . in the next 40 yrs kenya is set to grow more and faster than it has done in the past 40 years .

Kisumu had/has a very famous Tot restaurant in the CBD...a household name in town for lunch/coffee/tea, maybe related? Can't wait for footage of the Machakos People's Park, the Governor's Residence and Konza... Kenya on the move...

ooh great memories!..back in 2002 I stayed at a place called Kenya Israel not far away from medical college and I used to go have some really nice tea at T tot every morning ..I occasionally attended evening live bands from a then popular artist called ken Wa maria at some dodgy club .Beautiful patrons filled the place and the music + 'Niama choma' was great..one thing that always stood out were the beautiful curvy girls of Machakos..Overal I had only good times and I hope to visit the town in future

It looks a bit drier and not as green and lush as Nairobi. Maybe that is why they moved from there. Still beautiful though and somewhere I need to go for a cup of chai.

How many Hours Drive from MACHAKOS to NAIROBI and vise-visa. What is the Difference if any between The MASAI and THE MACHAKOS? These are two Prominent Tribes in Kenya, but why are The Masais well known? Because when you say KENYA, the first to connect with are THE MASAI. Thanks.
It's about 1hr to 11/2 hours on a good day.
Machakos is just a town, the tribe round Machakos is called Kamba... Maasai's are not among the 5 top popular tribes by population. They are famous thanks to Their culture and wildlife.
Let's just appreciate adversity of all tribes in Kenya. All great/rich in their own respectful cultures. Msigawanywe kutenganishwa! Kenya is fit for all of us: Kikuyus/Kisiis; entrepreneurs/farmers. Kambas best in lT and artists-craft., Turkanas/Maasai's, meat business/beads embroidery items/wildlife/security., Luos, intellectuals., Kalenjins,/Turkana athletics., Luhyas, military, security., Boranas/Somalis, biashara., Coastals, fisherman/best food cooks/hoteliers.,
