Apidura Frame Bag Review | Worth The Price Tag?

This Apidura Frame bag was bought initially for my 600km Christmas adventure. Since then I've used it on many trips and it's served me well. But with a hefty price tag and some design flaws - is it worth it?

What has your experience been like in regards to the strap material? Has it damaged your bike's paint? Are the straps made of a soft material or the typical harsh material?

There has been no damage to the bikes paint from the straps. I would guess they are of the harsh material. Also not sure how it would work with softer. The only paint damage has been from my leggings on the side of the bag fabric when it was pretty stuffed and I did a long cycle!
Have there been reports of these straps rubbing paint off?

Thank you for sharing your experience with this bag. There's so many options out there that it can become a difficult choice. Your video definitely helps. I haven't heard specific reports of the straps of this item rubbing off paint but it's a typical experience from most frame bags. That's my biggest concern. But it seems, from your experience, that paint damage isn't an issue with this specific bag. Thank you!

What size of bike do you have? L?

This is a 56cm in the Marin size chart. It would probably equate to a medium I would guess. Are you trying to figure out if the bag will fit your frame?

@@mammothjourneys yes, just want to know how it will suit on my XL bike. XL toptube has length of 64 cm. I think 5.3 or 6.5 bag will fit well.

@@vmave94 there is a function on the apidura website where you can check bikes for which size will fit for each model. Best to check to make sure. 👍
