They will bring him back the moment Artemis completely moves on. YJ is a show that never leaves opportunities for drama on the table. I imagine Artemis will be fully invested in her new relationship then bam, Wally will return, making things complicated.

My head cannon is that Wally isn't dead. He is lost in the Speed Force. He will return when the writers need him to and he will return as the fastest man alive.

No “one” had that power. *spoilers* We saw how in season 4, a group of magicians/magic based hero’s tried to contact Connor, with no avail. Since the scene with Zatana’s mind trick with Artemis, I don’t think Z will try to do the group ritual because that would expose her lies to Artemis.

@Will N Greg's already been proven wrong on his claims of the Speedforce not existing. He's not perfect and this is a failure in story telling. No body, means no death. This trope is older than the Jay Garrick Flash. We go more specific on the trope, you don't kill a speedster by vanishing the body. They always come back.

I hated the fact Wally was gone, but after Conner was almost taken as well, I learned to let go of what happened to Wally and appreciate the fact the rest of the original team is still alive. YJ has always covered sensitive themes and learning to move on is very prominent. Super heroes have a lot that could hold them back, trauma that could break them, but even they have the choice to move on. I say it's about time we all do. Wally was a great character and hero.
I think if they do plan to bring him back, waiting a long time to do so is the smart move. First, because it makes for a more complicated return in-story. If he came back in the midst of everyone's grief, he could slide right back into his old life. If he comes back years later when the people he cared for have moved on and evolved in his absence, trying to re-establish a life for himself becomes a lot more difficult and interesting to watch. On the audience level, a return we have to wait for can have much greater impact. Many were expecting and waiting for it in season 3. When it didn't happen, some gave up but some kept hoping through season 4. Then some of them gave up. Having him return in season 5 or beyond, once most of the audience is unsure or doubtful of that being a possibility, is a much more shocking, impactful moment than doing it in season 3 when many more were still expecting it. Not sure if it's in the cards, but delaying it is a smart enough strategy that I still believe it's possible.
It would be such a sad storyline for Wally trying to re adjust. I hope he get’s a really fleshed out arc we’re he’s struggling with coping with his new speed powers and trying to find his place when everyone moved on. Him being the fastest the speed force and maybe reverse flash would be a shock to because he’s always been the slowest so him having new powers and being the fastest would be a shock to.
While I agree with you, but I feel like they should absolutely bring him back now in Season 5 (if they do get a season 5), because it's been long enough that characters have moved on. It's been about 3-4 years in-universe and even Artemis is in a new relationship, him coming back would bring some drama to the fold. In addition, for hard-core wally fans (like myself) it's been long enough that we have been tired and are leaning towards leaving Young Justice because we're tired of waiting for him to come back. We've had hope for the past two seasons, we were desperately hoping he came back in season 4 but now that he didn't, it's super hopeless that he'll come back. They can't wait til everyone who's waiting for Wally to stop watching the show and then bring him back or else people are just gonna feel some type of way.
I think Wally is going to be made into the Blue Lantern Flash. It was stated that Wally wasn’t as fast as the other Flashes & I realized that the biggest way to so much Hope in someone is to force them to keep going forward. Even if they end up losing everything they care about. Wally having nothing will force him to only have Hope that he will get back to everyone. Giving us, our Blue Flask.🧐😁🧐
@@nic8577 part of it was because his connection was forged to be the purest of any speedster, in thinks to being in the speed force. It would be interesting to see the more electrical components of a flash, maybe to differentiate Speed Force related speed, and own power related speed. I got the idea from Justice League Unlimited when Flash was battling Lex Braniac. He only got an electrical like charge when he reached even faster speeds. It’s my theory that Speedster powers are based on there own abilities, but there is a limit to that, and to go above that limit, or to use powers that involve electricity, time travel, and anything of such extremes relate to that of the Speed Force.
My idea is that wally is in the speed force trying to find his way back but can get glimpses of what happening. So my idea is that there's a crisis that requires either Barry or Bart or both to run faster than they ever have. Can have conversations about it's almost impossible to run that fast it's compared to the sound barrier there's a speed barrier. So they devise a plan to break the speed barrier as they approach high speeds they get a glimpse of Wally. In the comics it's takes a lot of speed to enter the speed force and alot more of speed to exit.
Knowing that Connor saw himself as dead in the Phantim Zone makes total sense, and I think its really sweet that his mind conjured up Wally,it shows that even if Connor didnt show it as much he really do consider Wally a friend and one he trust. He could have chosen others who died but it was Wally he needed, also gives a peek into what relationship Connor and Wally probably had, where Wally become supportive but still Sassy, because he's still Wally. I kinda hope Wally is dead, I don't see a good time to bring him back anymore, he's still my favorite character and seeing what impact his death have on others so long after his passing tells me he wasnt just well loved in the fandom but in the show too.
The longer Wally is gone, the more tragic his return would be. Actually for that reason, I could see them MAYBE doing that. They love a good dramatic story. They have been dealing with loss and heavy topics. If they wanted to take that route, they could either find him trapped somewhere, say they discover the speed force for the first time. Or they could time travel and bring him forward so that it wouldn’t change the current past, younger Wally with older friends that have moved on, especially Artemis. That would be bitter sweet, though I don’t know WHY someone would travel back for him. Just some thoughts. Wally is likely not coming back, but if he ever did, those are reasons why and ways he could.
I feel like every time someone makes a "WALLY WEST IS DEFINITELY RETURNING IN SEASON X" thing that gets popular enough, the creators push back Wally's resurrection another season. I don't doubt in my mind that he's returning because he's a monumentally important character in the comics. He becomes the fastest speedster and takes over as the Flash after Barry's death. I think they just couldn't figure out how to use a speedster on the level of the Flash with their more grounded storylines, so they need the characters to go through their own "growing up" storylines before he can return to take over for Barry and be more out of the picture. In the phantom zone episode, Connor thought he was dead, but the Wally hallucination knew he wasn't and said "I don't think WE'RE in heaven or hell, WE'RE in some kind of purgatory." In fact I'm pretty sure whenever any of the team has a Wally hallucination he talks about being there. So far Nightwing, Superboy and Artemis of the original 6 have had hallucinations about Wally, which leaves Megan and Aqualad. I think once all of the characters have their solo Wally experiences and they push out Barry they'll be able to bring him back.
About four years, it’s almost the same amount of time we had with him (meeting him on July 4th 2010 and him dying on June 20th 2016, if I’m not mistaken).

On July 4th 2016, Nightwing left the Team and Kaldur in control and we have Vandal Savage meeting Darkseid on Apokolips (you know: “Business as usual”). Phantoms takes place on the year 2020: it starts on February 25th and ends on September 16th/17th 2020; Kaldur’s arc ends on July 3rd/4th, when he talks with Canary on the fact they started everything together 10 years prior to that exact date.

I think Wally is alive but stuck in the speed force. I don’t remember any exact comics or anything but I’m pretty sure when a speedster is stuck in the speed force they do get more powerful. My prediction is that he will be getting more powerful whilst stuck in the speed force somehow. He was always noted as the slowest and this would be a great way to bring him back, and cause some interesting drama with Artemis moving on
From what we found out in the Phantons arc, no one can contact the dead once they’ve moved on, but it may be possible to find them if they didn’t. The reason Superboy was a curious case was because Zatanna saw a psychic imprint of him calling out for help. If he’s calling for help, it doesn’t make sense that he’s at peace and moved on. But if he hasn’t moved on, it was suspicious that they couldn’t find his soul in any of the common places or with the help of many powerful magicians and the Tower of Fate. That was the whole lead up to the Superboy mustn’t be dead, I need a detective line. Wally was making peace with himself before his death, giving out his wishes to Barry. If it turned out Wally didn’t die, no one is looking for him, not even his spirit. This is not the same as the Superboy situation.
That's not what that showed, it showed that if they're not at peace it's usually easier to contact them. Also Greg Weisman has hinted that it's possible to contact the dead on earth 16, just that its generally not a good idea.
Well in the comics Wally West was trapped in the speed force for many years before flash found out that he was alive in there. After getting him out of there while he discovered that he was faster than Barry and was more in tap with the speed force
I honestly think they will bring him back and I think the will be doing the crisis storyline where Wally comes back and then dies again. The story line that involves the sanctuary (I think that’s what it was called), but I think he is in the speed force and will come back in the next season
So my theory is that when the legionnaires return to the future they discover wally who appeared in the future then return him to the present and the story in season 5 will focus on wally accepting all the changes since he was gone
If Wally is actually just dead. It's terrible story telling on Greg's part. First off: We have decades of instances of speedsters going to fast and vanishing, only to return later. Wally's YJ "death" spits in the face of Flash continuity. Second: Wally "dies" in the same season we have a time traveling impulse arrives. That started the whole Wally lost in the Legions time thing (which isn't helped by the Legion showing up) Third: M'gann and Zatanna lied to Artemis. That still hasn't been addreseed and I personally can only wish misery on Zatanna and M'gann until they reveal the betrayal Fourth: They keep teasing Wally. But then telling fans we're stupid for thinking he's not actually dead.It's just in really poor taste.

Since Wally isn't in The phantom zone and he's not in the future with the legion of heroes there's only one of the place I can think of where he might be the speed force. If Young Justice does get renewed for a fifth season and beyond hopefully does hopefully I'm very positive it will but I'm thinking that a flash storyline will be the best way to reintroduce Wally West into the story
You forget another earth (like earth 17, which was mentioned in season 4) or another dimension (like Skartaris, which has an entry way to there from the north pole).
The trail Connor was following through the zone was the speed trail remnant left by Wally when he passed through that dimension and probably went to an alternate earth that’s why that trail was there and he as following it for a while I the later season when he was in the zone. Anyone else agree?
I really hope Wally returns to Young Justice. I read something a year or two ago and it said that the speedforce doesn’t exist in the YJ universe (earth 16). Someone said that every time a speedster runs in YJ there’s not a sign of any lighting coming out of them as they run. Indicating that there’s not a speedforce that exists. Idk that’s just something I read a long time ago. Not really sure if there’s confirmation about it not existing.
In comics its stated the wally is the faster than Berry Allen allen has all the knowledge to speed force but west understands the spiritual side of it which he master but doesnt want to out speed allen since he looks up to him

Well later Greg changed the answer to basically being that no one knows the Speed Force exists in E-16. Plus in Justice League (outside of the Brainthor battle which did have Wally end up there and call it the Speed Force) there wasn't lightning attached to the animation sequence so there being lightning when they run isn't a for sure evidence.
I don't think he is gone. Artemis has to find out some way that Zatanna lied to her about letting her see Wally so she could say goodbye. Nobody is going to tell Artemis the truth so the only way this lie is going to be found out is if Wally comes back. He could be in the future it would just have to be further in the future then where the Legion came from. Wally could also be in some alternate timeline like maybe the one Bart originally come from. Could Wally have been transported into space/Reach ship and is now being held somewhere like Apokolips. Darkside has the tech to keep the heroes from being able to contact Wally and he does like to collect superpowered beings.
He comes back in the comics as faster than Barry Allen. But not all the comics have returns. Barry Allen even dies in different DC universes. But I can see a spin off series following crisis where Wally transports to a different earth following his disappearance on YJ using the crisis art style which is a direct sequel to DC War.
I am new to the young justice seasons but the last episode I watch was wally west's A.K.A. Kid Flash's death. I still think he is alive and will never accept he is dead until it is admitted!!!!
I hope that I’m not coming off as too negative with this, but I feel like the show hasn’t had the same heart as the in first and second season in the third and fourth seasons. And I think that’s because they’ve kept Wally dead. He was the heart of the show and feels like there’s a massive part missing from the show. Maybe that’s intentional. With the seriousness of the past two seasons we could have used some heart, but it feel like we are diving more and more in the darkness. One place I felt that this season was when Zatana, Rocket, Nightwing, Aqualad, and Artemis went into the Phantom Zone and didn’t tell Megan. Dick even makes a comment of that they are getting too good at keeping secrets. Wally would have been right at Dick’s side telling him that they HAVE to tell Megan because it’s the right thing to do. Yes if Dick is wrong than Megan is going to have to deal with a lot more trauma, but the team would have been there for her. My mind just goes back to when Dick went back to the circus in season 1 and Wally was the one who told Dick that he didn’t need to go this alone. He had friends. There was hope and heart. Now there’s not so much.
i think the reason we havent seen wally yet is because he did time travel but not far. Basicly im suggesting that when he ends up isnt far enough in the future to need a way back. I dont think wally would mess with time travel as long as it was not like 5-10 years in the future

When the creator of Young Justice came out and said that their is no Speed Force in the Young Justice universe because he couldn't understand why they needed a speed force to make the speedster run fast. I already understood that Wally was most likely dead and gone.
He did, many times..but as time went on he seemed to shift some from 'no speedforce' to 'no one knows about a speedforce'..giving him some wiggle room..

I think he’s just floating in the story board. I believe the show runner(s) said that they didn’t want to deal with the Speed Force. But i think the only way to properly bring Wally back is if they added the speed force. So, this would mean if the show runner(s) decided they want to return Wally, then they will bring in the Speed Force (and maybe other forces too) or vice versa. (I know that the speed force exists in all multiverse, but have you thought about the multiverse where it doesn’t? This is a joke)

None of them thought about the fact that he was wearing normal clothes even thought he was in his Kid Flash suit when he died or, the fact that Connor saw Wally also as a phantom is because Wally is dead and he thought he was dead as well so why wouldn’t he see Wally looking the same as him.

Wally becomes the speed force on Earth-16. Wally is like Number 5 from The Umbrella Academy; he’s stuck in the Legion of Super Heroes time/team. He has amnesia. Once he ages; masters his powers and trains a successor, he gets his memory back and returns to see Artemis get married. He can then meet the Linda Park of Earth-16 or Jesse Quick of Earth-16.
I wrote this elsewhere but: "I think superboy coming back consequence free could absolutely turn into 'the point'. In the future. Here me out: Wally could come back in a 5 year time skip (with emphasis on not having any help from his friends getting back) to find artemis's path was set by zatanna & m'gann lying to her. Z & M's lie about finding wally's soul resulted in setting artemis onto a path of finding another love & forming a family. Where as zatanna's REAL search for connor's soul resulted in her & her friends finding him and saving him BEFORE mgann would move on for good. Wally, Artemis, & possibly Connor could see this as a huge betrayal by Zatanna & M'gann. Where as z's real search resulted in connor & mgann a 2nd chance at happily ever after. Z's fake search that she concocted with mgann resulted in artemis moving on from wally instead of saving him sooner, thus denying him & artemis the same 2nd chance that connor & m'gann got. From wally, artemis, and connor's p.o.v. had z actually gone on a real search for wally's soul when Artemis asked her to, she could've made the same discovery that wally wasn't actually dead just like Connor. Thus Wally feels slighted by his friends, that he feels they cared about saving connor when presumed dead but not him. Plus their actions causing him losing an opportunity to get artemis back. Artemis's trust in zatanna & m'gann is very much damaged. But her feelings for jason bard don't disappear. Connor has old wounds dredged up with m'gann from season 3's terminus, and whether she can trust her again after her lies altered the minds of another AGAIN. Dick feels horribly guilty for denying his friend the same opportunity as connor. It also sets him and others out to see IF they were wrong about anyone else being dead. Tula & Ted's autopsy's pan out, but Jason's obviously doesn't. Thus setting Nightwing out to search for jason, possibly along with Tim. Thus also setting him up to find jason AND damian in the next season. Thus you turn Connor's neat & tidy return, into a storytelling opportunity where you can compare and contrast how Connor & Wally’s friends & loved ones reacted to similar circumstances. Given that the shows theme is 'Secrets and Lies' I have a hard time not seeing zatanna & m'gann lying to Artemis as something that would eventually snowball into a bigger mess."
I feel like those are different situations though. Zatanna believed Connor was dead just like she did Wally until she got that Flash of him in the Phantom Zone. Nothing like that has happened for Wally to make them think he’s alive.

Honestly seeing how in season 4 Zatanna did everything possible to locate Conner I think Wally is gone. The team went above and beyond to save Conner as soon as there was a slight chance of him being alive. Why do one thing with Conner and not Wally?

I realy need closure on this. I mean with Zatanna being unable to find his soul, and the the vision in the phantom zone I can't really fully accept he is dead. So I need to have confirmaion whether he trully is dead
Can I just throw this for a loop we know Wally is a speedster so It could just be me but what if Wally got a boost of speed from Neutron , we know that most speedsters travel faster than light and sound so why not time. think back to this last season where Bart gave extra speed to bioship so they could travel faster but if they had enough speed why not be able to time travel. and another thing is that Zatanna couldn't locate him either so that is another thing. Also we know that in the phantom zone that the hallucinations were in full color and Wally was not in full color. also saw another comment about a blue lantern flash though I don't know much about this and this is my first time hearing about a blue flash it made since that Wally could come back as a blue flash though it's not concrete. I personally do not think Wally is not dead because things that the creators are lining up in the sense of the story line. I read and write a lot so I tend to notice like blips I like to call them but also hints and little seedling as to what happened to Wally and weather he is dead or not.
The writers need to make the villains stronger red hood putting in some work might actually not sound that bad cause I saw nightwing holding back a cryptonian like what but giga Wally some real fights cause he’s gonna come back really strong
Not even gonna bother with season 4. Found out the show isnt being renewed and is canceled. An absolute shame. Waited for wally to return for the longest time and they couldn’t deliver. What a waste
I’m sorry, but this would be the perfect opportunity to do a young justice “sanctuary” I feel like the show has gotten graphic enough to be able to pull it off, and the seeds have definitely been planted. I just hope that for whatever they do, there is a focus and execution similar to the first two seasons!! (granted we get S5)

Wally disappeared yes but did he actually die ? The team thought Jason Todd died even though he's with Ras Al ghul now , and this season everyone thought Connor died but he was in The phantom zone and he's alive , so what makes you think they won't introduce the speed force in the show to show that Wally just disappeared into it. Anything can happen I mean they just introduced The phantom zone and Supergirl so like I said anything can happen.

I honestly thought they killed him for the same reason they killed off Deadshot in "Arrow" and why Constantine hasn't shown up in various adaptations: DC wants to push black Wally West, or Wallace, just like they wanted to push Will Smith's Deadshot and hype up JJ Abrams black Constantine movie. There's probably some sort of embargo going on that's preventing the YJ writers from using regular Wally other than hallucinations, from what I understand there's a similar embargo for Constantine. The OG white characters won't get people hyped up for the black versions, so they gotta go.

No “one” had that power. *spoilers* We saw how in season 4, a group of magicians/magic based hero’s tried to contact Connor, with no avail. Since the scene with Zatana’s mind trick with Artemis, I don’t think Z will try to do the group ritual because that would expose her lies to Artemis.
Nothing z said specifies no one on earth 16 has that power. Also greg weisman has hinted that it's possible to speak to the dead.

I hated the fact Wally was gone, but after Conner was almost taken as well, I learned to let go of what happened to Wally and appreciate the fact the rest of the original team is still alive. YJ has always covered sensitive themes and learning to move on is very prominent. Super heroes have a lot that could hold them back, trauma that could break them, but even they have the choice to move on. I say it's about time we all do. Wally was a great character and hero.
I think if they do plan to bring him back, waiting a long time to do so is the smart move. First, because it makes for a more complicated return in-story. If he came back in the midst of everyone's grief, he could slide right back into his old life. If he comes back years later when the people he cared for have moved on and evolved in his absence, trying to re-establish a life for himself becomes a lot more difficult and interesting to watch. On the audience level, a return we have to wait for can have much greater impact. Many were expecting and waiting for it in season 3. When it didn't happen, some gave up but some kept hoping through season 4. Then some of them gave up. Having him return in season 5 or beyond, once most of the audience is unsure or doubtful of that being a possibility, is a much more shocking, impactful moment than doing it in season 3 when many more were still expecting it. Not sure if it's in the cards, but delaying it is a smart enough strategy that I still believe it's possible.
It would be such a sad storyline for Wally trying to re adjust. I hope he get’s a really fleshed out arc we’re he’s struggling with coping with his new speed powers and trying to find his place when everyone moved on. Him being the fastest the speed force and maybe reverse flash would be a shock to because he’s always been the slowest so him having new powers and being the fastest would be a shock to.
While I agree with you, but I feel like they should absolutely bring him back now in Season 5 (if they do get a season 5), because it's been long enough that characters have moved on. It's been about 3-4 years in-universe and even Artemis is in a new relationship, him coming back would bring some drama to the fold. In addition, for hard-core wally fans (like myself) it's been long enough that we have been tired and are leaning towards leaving Young Justice because we're tired of waiting for him to come back. We've had hope for the past two seasons, we were desperately hoping he came back in season 4 but now that he didn't, it's super hopeless that he'll come back. They can't wait til everyone who's waiting for Wally to stop watching the show and then bring him back or else people are just gonna feel some type of way.

I think Wally is going to be made into the Blue Lantern Flash. It was stated that Wally wasn’t as fast as the other Flashes & I realized that the biggest way to so much Hope in someone is to force them to keep going forward. Even if they end up losing everything they care about. Wally having nothing will force him to only have Hope that he will get back to everyone. Giving us, our Blue Flask.🧐😁🧐

In the comics when Wally got lost in the speed force he came back much much faster then any other flash. Really hope he comes back.
@@nic8577 part of it was because his connection was forged to be the purest of any speedster, in thinks to being in the speed force. It would be interesting to see the more electrical components of a flash, maybe to differentiate Speed Force related speed, and own power related speed. I got the idea from Justice League Unlimited when Flash was battling Lex Braniac. He only got an electrical like charge when he reached even faster speeds.
It’s my theory that Speedster powers are based on there own abilities, but there is a limit to that, and to go above that limit, or to use powers that involve electricity, time travel, and anything of such extremes relate to that of the Speed Force.

My idea is that wally is in the speed force trying to find his way back but can get glimpses of what happening. So my idea is that there's a crisis that requires either Barry or Bart or both to run faster than they ever have. Can have conversations about it's almost impossible to run that fast it's compared to the sound barrier there's a speed barrier. So they devise a plan to break the speed barrier as they approach high speeds they get a glimpse of Wally. In the comics it's takes a lot of speed to enter the speed force and alot more of speed to exit.
Knowing that Connor saw himself as dead in the Phantim Zone makes total sense, and I think its really sweet that his mind conjured up Wally,it shows that even if Connor didnt show it as much he really do consider Wally a friend and one he trust. He could have chosen others who died but it was Wally he needed, also gives a peek into what relationship Connor and Wally probably had, where Wally become supportive but still Sassy, because he's still Wally.
I kinda hope Wally is dead, I don't see a good time to bring him back anymore, he's still my favorite character and seeing what impact his death have on others so long after his passing tells me he wasnt just well loved in the fandom but in the show too.

The longer Wally is gone, the more tragic his return would be. Actually for that reason, I could see them MAYBE doing that. They love a good dramatic story. They have been dealing with loss and heavy topics.
If they wanted to take that route, they could either find him trapped somewhere, say they discover the speed force for the first time. Or they could time travel and bring him forward so that it wouldn’t change the current past, younger Wally with older friends that have moved on, especially Artemis. That would be bitter sweet, though I don’t know WHY someone would travel back for him.
Just some thoughts. Wally is likely not coming back, but if he ever did, those are reasons why and ways he could.

I feel like every time someone makes a "WALLY WEST IS DEFINITELY RETURNING IN SEASON X" thing that gets popular enough, the creators push back Wally's resurrection another season. I don't doubt in my mind that he's returning because he's a monumentally important character in the comics. He becomes the fastest speedster and takes over as the Flash after Barry's death. I think they just couldn't figure out how to use a speedster on the level of the Flash with their more grounded storylines, so they need the characters to go through their own "growing up" storylines before he can return to take over for Barry and be more out of the picture.
In the phantom zone episode, Connor thought he was dead, but the Wally hallucination knew he wasn't and said "I don't think WE'RE in heaven or hell, WE'RE in some kind of purgatory." In fact I'm pretty sure whenever any of the team has a Wally hallucination he talks about being there. So far Nightwing, Superboy and Artemis of the original 6 have had hallucinations about Wally, which leaves Megan and Aqualad. I think once all of the characters have their solo Wally experiences and they push out Barry they'll be able to bring him back.

Phantoms takes place on the year 2020: it starts on February 25th and ends on September 16th/17th 2020; Kaldur’s arc ends on July 3rd/4th, when he talks with Canary on the fact they started everything together 10 years prior to that exact date.

I think Wally is alive but stuck in the speed force. I don’t remember any exact comics or anything but I’m pretty sure when a speedster is stuck in the speed force they do get more powerful. My prediction is that he will be getting more powerful whilst stuck in the speed force somehow. He was always noted as the slowest and this would be a great way to bring him back, and cause some interesting drama with Artemis moving on

From what we found out in the Phantons arc, no one can contact the dead once they’ve moved on, but it may be possible to find them if they didn’t. The reason Superboy was a curious case was because Zatanna saw a psychic imprint of him calling out for help. If he’s calling for help, it doesn’t make sense that he’s at peace and moved on. But if he hasn’t moved on, it was suspicious that they couldn’t find his soul in any of the common places or with the help of many powerful magicians and the Tower of Fate. That was the whole lead up to the Superboy mustn’t be dead, I need a detective line.
Wally was making peace with himself before his death, giving out his wishes to Barry. If it turned out Wally didn’t die, no one is looking for him, not even his spirit. This is not the same as the Superboy situation.
That's not what that showed, it showed that if they're not at peace it's usually easier to contact them.
Also Greg Weisman has hinted that it's possible to contact the dead on earth 16, just that its generally not a good idea.

Well in the comics Wally West was trapped in the speed force for many years before flash found out that he was alive in there. After getting him out of there while he discovered that he was faster than Barry and was more in tap with the speed force

First off: We have decades of instances of speedsters going to fast and vanishing, only to return later. Wally's YJ "death" spits in the face of Flash continuity.
Second: Wally "dies" in the same season we have a time traveling impulse arrives. That started the whole Wally lost in the Legions time thing (which isn't helped by the Legion showing up)
Third: M'gann and Zatanna lied to Artemis. That still hasn't been addreseed and I personally can only wish misery on Zatanna and M'gann until they reveal the betrayal
Fourth: They keep teasing Wally. But then telling fans we're stupid for thinking he's not actually dead.It's just in really poor taste.

Since Wally isn't in The phantom zone and he's not in the future with the legion of heroes there's only one of the place I can think of where he might be the speed force. If Young Justice does get renewed for a fifth season and beyond hopefully does hopefully I'm very positive it will but I'm thinking that a flash storyline will be the best way to reintroduce Wally West into the story
You forget another earth (like earth 17, which was mentioned in season 4) or another dimension (like Skartaris, which has an entry way to there from the north pole).
The trail Connor was following through the zone was the speed trail remnant left by Wally when he passed through that dimension and probably went to an alternate earth that’s why that trail was there and he as following it for a while I the later season when he was in the zone. Anyone else agree?

I really hope Wally returns to Young Justice. I read something a year or two ago and it said that the speedforce doesn’t exist in the YJ universe (earth 16). Someone said that every time a speedster runs in YJ there’s not a sign of any lighting coming out of them as they run. Indicating that there’s not a speedforce that exists. Idk that’s just something I read a long time ago. Not really sure if there’s confirmation about it not existing.
In comics its stated the wally is the faster than Berry Allen allen has all the knowledge to speed force but west understands the spiritual side of it which he master but doesnt want to out speed allen since he looks up to him

Well later Greg changed the answer to basically being that no one knows the Speed Force exists in E-16. Plus in Justice League (outside of the Brainthor battle which did have Wally end up there and call it the Speed Force) there wasn't lightning attached to the animation sequence so there being lightning when they run isn't a for sure evidence.

I don't think he is gone. Artemis has to find out some way that Zatanna lied to her about letting her see Wally so she could say goodbye. Nobody is going to tell Artemis the truth so the only way this lie is going to be found out is if Wally comes back. He could be in the future it would just have to be further in the future then where the Legion came from. Wally could also be in some alternate timeline like maybe the one Bart originally come from. Could Wally have been transported into space/Reach ship and is now being held somewhere like Apokolips. Darkside has the tech to keep the heroes from being able to contact Wally and he does like to collect superpowered beings.
He comes back in the comics as faster than Barry Allen. But not all the comics have returns. Barry Allen even dies in different DC universes. But I can see a spin off series following crisis where Wally transports to a different earth following his disappearance on YJ using the crisis art style which is a direct sequel to DC War.

I am new to the young justice seasons but the last episode I watch was wally west's A.K.A. Kid Flash's death.
I still think he is alive and will never accept he is dead until it is admitted!!!!
I hope that I’m not coming off as too negative with this, but I feel like the show hasn’t had the same heart as the in first and second season in the third and fourth seasons. And I think that’s because they’ve kept Wally dead. He was the heart of the show and feels like there’s a massive part missing from the show. Maybe that’s intentional. With the seriousness of the past two seasons we could have used some heart, but it feel like we are diving more and more in the darkness.
One place I felt that this season was when Zatana, Rocket, Nightwing, Aqualad, and Artemis went into the Phantom Zone and didn’t tell Megan. Dick even makes a comment of that they are getting too good at keeping secrets. Wally would have been right at Dick’s side telling him that they HAVE to tell Megan because it’s the right thing to do. Yes if Dick is wrong than Megan is going to have to deal with a lot more trauma, but the team would have been there for her. My mind just goes back to when Dick went back to the circus in season 1 and Wally was the one who told Dick that he didn’t need to go this alone. He had friends. There was hope and heart. Now there’s not so much.
i think the reason we havent seen wally yet is because he did time travel but not far. Basicly im suggesting that when he ends up isnt far enough in the future to need a way back. I dont think wally would mess with time travel as long as it was not like 5-10 years in the future

I think he’s just floating in the story board. I believe the show runner(s) said that they didn’t want to deal with the Speed Force. But i think the only way to properly bring Wally back is if they added the speed force. So, this would mean if the show runner(s) decided they want to return Wally, then they will bring in the Speed Force (and maybe other forces too) or vice versa.

None of them thought about the fact that he was wearing normal clothes even thought he was in his Kid Flash suit when he died or, the fact that Connor saw Wally also as a phantom is because Wally is dead and he thought he was dead as well so why wouldn’t he see Wally looking the same as him.

Wally becomes the speed force on Earth-16. Wally is like Number 5 from The Umbrella Academy; he’s stuck in the Legion of Super Heroes time/team. He has amnesia. Once he ages; masters his powers and trains a successor, he gets his memory back and returns to see Artemis get married. He can then meet the Linda Park of Earth-16 or Jesse Quick of Earth-16.
I wrote this elsewhere but: "I think superboy coming back consequence free could absolutely turn into 'the point'. In the future.
Here me out: Wally could come back in a 5 year time skip (with emphasis on not having any help from his friends getting back) to find artemis's path was set by zatanna & m'gann lying to her.
Z & M's lie about finding wally's soul resulted in setting artemis onto a path of finding another love & forming a family.
Where as zatanna's REAL search for connor's soul resulted in her & her friends finding him and saving him BEFORE mgann would move on for good.
Wally, Artemis, & possibly Connor could see this as a huge betrayal by Zatanna & M'gann. Where as z's real search resulted in connor & mgann a 2nd chance at happily ever after. Z's fake search that she concocted with mgann resulted in artemis moving on from wally instead of saving him sooner, thus denying him & artemis the same 2nd chance that connor & m'gann got.
From wally, artemis, and connor's p.o.v. had z actually gone on a real search for wally's soul when Artemis asked her to, she could've made the same discovery that wally wasn't actually dead just like Connor.
Thus Wally feels slighted by his friends, that he feels they cared about saving connor when presumed dead but not him. Plus their actions causing him losing an opportunity to get artemis back.
Artemis's trust in zatanna & m'gann is very much damaged. But her feelings for jason bard don't disappear.
Connor has old wounds dredged up with m'gann from season 3's terminus, and whether she can trust her again after her lies altered the minds of another AGAIN.
Dick feels horribly guilty for denying his friend the same opportunity as connor. It also sets him and others out to see IF they were wrong about anyone else being dead. Tula & Ted's autopsy's pan out, but Jason's obviously doesn't. Thus setting Nightwing out to search for jason, possibly along with Tim. Thus also setting him up to find jason AND damian in the next season.
Thus you turn Connor's neat & tidy return, into a storytelling opportunity where you can compare and contrast how Connor & Wally’s friends & loved ones reacted to similar circumstances.
Given that the shows theme is 'Secrets and Lies' I have a hard time not seeing zatanna & m'gann lying to Artemis as something that would eventually snowball into a bigger mess."
I feel like those are different situations though. Zatanna believed Connor was dead just like she did Wally until she got that Flash of him in the Phantom Zone. Nothing like that has happened for Wally to make them think he’s alive.

Honestly seeing how in season 4 Zatanna did everything possible to locate Conner I think Wally is gone. The team went above and beyond to save Conner as soon as there was a slight chance of him being alive. Why do one thing with Conner and not Wally?
Cause there was no hint that Wally was alive like you said they started looking as soon as there was a chance. Nothing has happened to tell them Wally might be alive.
I realy need closure on this. I mean with Zatanna being unable to find his soul, and the the vision in the phantom zone I can't really fully accept he is dead. So I need to have confirmaion whether he trully is dead

Can I just throw this for a loop we know Wally is a speedster so It could just be me but what if Wally got a boost of speed from Neutron , we know that most speedsters travel faster than light and sound so why not time. think back to this last season where Bart gave extra speed to bioship so they could travel faster but if they had enough speed why not be able to time travel. and another thing is that Zatanna couldn't locate him either so that is another thing. Also we know that in the phantom zone that the hallucinations were in full color and Wally was not in full color. also saw another comment about a blue lantern flash though I don't know much about this and this is my first time hearing about a blue flash it made since that Wally could come back as a blue flash though it's not concrete. I personally do not think Wally is not dead because things that the creators are lining up in the sense of the story line. I read and write a lot so I tend to notice like blips I like to call them but also hints and little seedling as to what happened to Wally and weather he is dead or not.

Wally is not exactly dead. That is to say he is not in the afterlife. He could be out of sync, in the Dreaming, or lost in time.
The writers need to make the villains stronger red hood putting in some work might actually not sound that bad cause I saw nightwing holding back a cryptonian like what but giga Wally some real fights cause he’s gonna come back really strong
Not even gonna bother with season 4. Found out the show isnt being renewed and is canceled. An absolute shame. Waited for wally to return for the longest time and they couldn’t deliver. What a waste
I’m sorry, but this would be the perfect opportunity to do a young justice “sanctuary”
I feel like the show has gotten graphic enough to be able to pull it off, and the seeds have definitely been planted. I just hope that for whatever they do, there is a focus and execution similar to the first two seasons!! (granted we get S5)

I do not like how they keep bringing up Wally or talking about Wally either the writers confirm he’s dead or bring him back cause I’ve never watched the show too much drama for me but from the clips on TH-cam Wally is hands down the best character why was he so slow isnt he supposed to be the fastest why did he die and then keep bringing him up cause every once every couple months I’m recommended young justice and then I search if Wally is back and every time I’m disappointed the writers can’t keep getting away with this I’m starting to get mad at how the writers keep bringing him up and throwing him in as a ghost or a flashback or is mentioned by a character I wanna be like Cartman and kick them in the nuts

Wally disappeared yes but did he actually die ? The team thought Jason Todd died even though he's with Ras Al ghul now , and this season everyone thought Connor died but he was in The phantom zone and he's alive , so what makes you think they won't introduce the speed force in the show to show that Wally just disappeared into it. Anything can happen I mean they just introduced The phantom zone and Supergirl so like I said anything can happen.
I think that he got sucked into the speed force because him taking up on all that lightning he probably is in the speed force and will come back faster then the flash and the fastest
I hate to say it but maybe Wally west flash is gone which is sad and depressing.

I honestly thought they killed him for the same reason they killed off Deadshot in "Arrow" and why Constantine hasn't shown up in various adaptations: DC wants to push black Wally West, or Wallace, just like they wanted to push Will Smith's Deadshot and hype up JJ Abrams black Constantine movie. There's probably some sort of embargo going on that's preventing the YJ writers from using regular Wally other than hallucinations, from what I understand there's a similar embargo for Constantine. The OG white characters won't get people hyped up for the black versions, so they gotta go.
I thought of a theory a twist that Wally is going to be the main villain for season 5 and another twist would he is The Reverse Flash or The Black Racer
I quit watching young justice the second he died but I still keep up with news
