Thank you for the kind words I'm glad you liked the video. The fairing is really easy. Kneel down in the front of your bike and look inward toward the fairing. You'll see that it has a body clip on the inside. That's the clip you see me remove in the video. The body clip is comprised of two parts. There's the outer part, and then it is secured by the inner part which is a pin. Sadly the tolerance is on how it was manufactured is a little bit loose so it's pretty easy to remove. Without scratching anything just get a small flathead pry bar or screwdriver, under there, you can actually use a body clip remover too, so you don't scratch anything, and it will slide right out. It comes out very easily. Once that's popped out, the side fairing slides into place, so you are able to just slide it forward and the whole thing comes off of the bike. It's not retained with any other body clips. It slides off and one super easy just pay mind to the tabs, that they slide into their correct place, when reassembling it.
Yes sir, it will drain the battery after a week or so. I tested this and the bike wouldn't start after about that long. So I simply had to charge it. It's better to either press the on/off button or unplug it if the bike is going to sit.
Always love your clean work. thx for share
This comment made my day! Thank you so much for your kind words!
I was wondering what panels I needed to remove and what I could get away with not removing so thanks for the cable routing guide too!
Thank you for the nice comment and I'm glad my video could help! Have a wonderful day!
Thank You for the video. I have question: how to remove side fairings, how to pull out this "bolt" 1:51?

@@OhHeyItsBilly Thank You very much for that instruction. I was afraid to not break or scratch something.
Hi mate this is helpful. Sorry if it has been asked before but does this turn off when the motorcycle ignition is off though?
Thanks for the informative video, do you know if this will drain the battery if left on while the bike is off?
