thanks to this video i found out that there are the bullet connectors if i didnt knew that i would probably screwd a part my whole bike to get the cable directly to the battery thanks alot!!
Finally got around to doing this on my Z900 and while it works, for whatever reason the SAE USB I have doesn't charge fast enough. My phone battery drains faster than it can charge. Now looking at trying a different USB plus or another solution all together.
I'm touring at the moment and no issues. I have an old samsung S8 which is doing all the satnav etc. and it charges perfectly. Not really sure what to suggest for you ☹
@@bikerevz Thanks for the reply. Went through the reviews for the one purchased off Amazon and seems a lot of people have the same complaint. The one I got seems similar to the one from your video, but maybe the output is different. I plan to return it and go with a different USB that will connect to the SAE I already hooked up. Hopefully that one will work better.
Late reply, I've been away. Anyway, mine is a 2020 model and I dont think they have changed much since then. Turn the steering all the way right and look up behind the forks, you should just about see the connectors hanging there.
Just picked up a 2023 Z900 and have been binge watching your videos. Definitely planning on doing this when I add a quad lock. Thanks for the video.
Glad it helped someone. This is definitely one of the best mods I've done and you can't see it!

I've gained so much information from your videos. Great job Mark.
Thank you so much for your kind comments, really appreciated.
So glad I found this video. Thank you!
Thanks! That's what this is all about.
Gr8 vid, mark. Ride safe, god bless u.
Thank you buddy, you keep riding safe too.
Thanks for this bro!
I’d like to know how you connected the pullet connectors I can’t figure it out
Nice one hopefully save some people a few quid. I did exactly the same on my 2017 as I only fit the phone holder as a last resort.
Yeah, let's hope so, especially in these tough times with everything costing ££££s more than it used to.
very good video mate🔥🔥
Thumbs up and much support from my side
Thank you so much, really appreciate those words.

Does anyone know if the z650 got those holes in the front as well?
Quad lock don’t fit it in the z900 2021, I need a big screw 😢
No, dont say that, I'm just waiting for mine to get delivered!
Hi where did you get the usb cable from Cheers Dave
Hi Dave all the bits came off Amazon or Ebay. It has been a while so I couldn't tell you exactly which seller but there are loads around.
Reckon this is possible on a 2021 model?

Bought the same thing, very slow charging for my iPhone.
Sorry to hear that, have you tried anything else better? If there is something, I'll give it go.
My bike has the cable already in use? I don’t even know to what
But not from new. Can't you trace it and find what is attached?
