The tip on lining your lips before you over line them is like highkey genius. I always end up messing up and my lips are asymmetrical so that doesn't help, but lining them first and then correcting them is so much wiser. I think another great tip for anyone who cares is to use a matte lipliner vs a creamy one. One that's waxier/ firmer works wayy better for me than those creamy ones bc it looks more natural and doesn't feather as much.

This is jus a suggestion, your nose contour might look a bit more natural if you didn't do it so thin down towards the tip of ur nose, the lines are just a little visible down there. Of course that's my own opinion and your makeup is gorgeous

Out of my all my makeup nails and hair I love doing my lips with hot pink lipstick 💄 and lots of high gloss all day long!! How can I keep it from getting on my new silver braces? Please help?
Been doing my lips like this for many years, cause my upper lip is really thin and I want to wear dark lipstick. Like wine red, burgundy, dark purple, brown, etc. And I always go with matte lipsticks. So I don't do the darker line around. There's no need for it when you go for a very dark colour all over. No one's ever said my lips look overdrawn. But some have told me they really like my lip shape, while not knowing it's a little overdrawn. I do the opposite with my cupids bow: making it sharper instead of rounder, but otherwise exact same technique as in the vid. I never heard about it before, just figured it out on my own. I'm glad it's working for others too.

Blanca vazquez I suck at using lip liners so what I do is I take chap stick one that sinks into your lips not one that sits on top and makes your lips look caked, and I only use a smal amount..... then I use a dab of tarte lip paint ( I put it on the Middle then blend it out with my finger) then I use a matte lipstick that is a lighter color in the middle and it creates a perfect lip line without using a lip liner and that lipstick mixture I suggest and use it feels like a matte but it dries like a paint without it feeling like a paint..... so my lips don’t transfer and the paint keeps it the color on all day!! Hope this helps!!!
what do you recommend for people whose lipline is naturally flat on the skin and not raised.my natural lip is crooked so I usually find these tips done work for me.
Life of a Mad typer you're lucky because these things will look far more natural and real on you than for someone with sharp raised edges on their lips. But if you haven't found any advice yet after these 10 months, observe your lips in motion, in the x, y, and z axis, to get a more sense of where the edges of the muscles and the attachments are. That will help you get a feel for what you can get away with while it still looking natural, better.
No one ever seems to mention how they prep their lip area before this. We all have hair... what do people do to remove it? ignorant still there you can definitely see over lining, because it sticks out. I can't wax, it causes hyper-pigmentation of my lip. I love the video, it's been the most helpful so far! Thanks! 💏💋💏
