Tip: after doing all these steps, take some blush a little lighter than your lipstick shade (you can use a light lipstick too just make sure to blend it into your main shade well, highlighter, lipgloss, or an eyeshadow work too) and apply that in the middle of your pout (basically in the middle of your lips when they are closed). Blend the shade out to the rest of your lipstick and it will create a shadowing effect making your lips look bigger.

It also makes it more stable and doesn't fade or come off for hOURS. I use it when I'm going to parties or I have no time to reapply for a while.

Yes. Thank you for mentioning the issue with a glossy lipstick. I totally have found this. When it's shiny it just exposes the fact that I've over-lined and it looks brutal.
She said something that no one ever says, and it is so so true. Do not gloss over-lined lips. It’ll highlight or accentuate the edge of your natural lip line, and you’ll be able see the over lining.

Can't help notice that women are all aiming for same big false lips. The demonstrater already had full lips. Half of them look so unnatural and others like cement. Has noone heard of variety? These people all look the same. Who are they trying to impress? It's certainly not sexy. And when they are older they will have stretched saggy lined lips with puffing the lips out unnaturally.

You already have perfect lips. Society gets far too obsessed with bigger, bigger, bigger but in reality beautiful lips are about shape and not so much size. I rarely see a girl with injections that doesn’t look plastic and swollen af. We need to start praising natural features because nobody is happy with themselves anymore. This applies to other body parts too!

Thank you!! Injections just make lips look like someone punched you and people don’t realize how every time a needle enters your skin it creates a bump or puncture wound. Like hello, that creates lovely scar tissue. Women need to just stop it!
I know this thread is a year old but just wanted to add my opinion! Not all people do cosmetic surgeries for society or a potential partner, some people do it for themselves. It’s like when you shave your legs kinda, I do it because it makes me feel more comfortable with myself and that’s that. I don’t do it for anyone else but me. Just like how people get cosmetic surgeries. Some people get lip injections since it makes them feel pretty. It makes them happy and comfortable. It’s not bad to want to change things as long as you don’t harm other people or yourself. Yes some surgeries do harm you however that is more rare than people make it out to be. I agree with you that society needs to stop glorifying exaggerated features, but we also need to stop shaming people for changing their features. ♥️♥️♥️

I’m 60 years old ( been told I look 45) I have been doing this trick since I was in my 30s ! It’s a great tip and I’m Realy surprised that lip liner is only just been used to enhance the lips and not just outline. Adding a little mint (lip plumping) gloss to the high points of your lips at the very end does wonders especially for those who like a glossy finish.

@@raspberryraspberry4187 The area(s) that would appear to see the most light- so if you want to make your lips look plump or fuller, you lighten the spot that should essentially reflect light ... next, adding a drop of gloss covering those spots. If you're drawing lips (for example) you highlight the 2 common areas at the outter top of your lip and perhaps the one area most common, in the middle of your bottom lip... (or top of the hill(s) so -to-speak).
My top lip is naturally bigger then the bottom. When I was younger I thought it looked weird but now I think it’s cute and different since most people have a larger bottom lip.

You're the first person in years I've seen outline the lips from the outer corners, inward, which is the correct way to do it. That in itself makes a huge difference in the outcome of the process. I use a lip plumper called City Lights (in clear or pink) that I add on top the finished look and it works perfectly even over the lining and colour. Another tip for lining, I use Kat Von D's liquid lipstick as a liner and to fill in the lips part way. It has all day staying power and doesn't dry out my lips since I prep them with a good lip cream first. I'm going to try using powder blush to set it with now instead of the face powder I've been using for years. It works too, but I like the idea of the blushy colour around the lips.
I needed this video, I was definitely over lining on the sides too 🥴 Loooove the matte lip shaker- the shade Completely Nut! is my go to. The product is so hard to describe, but it really is perfect!

I think you'd also enjoy bobbi brown pink mauve. It has a similar undertone and its my RIDE OR DIE lip liner for making my lips look plump without really trying! pair it with fenty lipgloss to make a bombbbbbb combo

I loved your video, it reminded me of how I first learned to make my lips appear bigger about 30 years ago, actually it’s similar to the way you did it accept after the lip liner we applied a concealer ( the one that comes in a lipstick form, cover girl makes one) but just in the center, using the width of your nose was a good guide on the top and bottom of the lips putting it directly over the liner, we did that to highlight that area which ultimately was the area that made the lips look larger, then the lipstick, then a gloss but again only where you put the concealer, directly under the nose so like you said it didn’t make over lining obvious. The trick back then was every product you put on, your liner, concealer, lipstick, gloss you were drawing the center of the lips bigger because layering the products and going directly over the last product, your dragging up and out, I still do it this way it really makes such a difference. Sorry so long.

The mind n perception should be more comfortable with what we already have, instead of following trends if it’s too far not practical to achieve.. or to go for aesthetics enhancement which might not be a gd option too.

You are totally gorgeous - I do honestly like the way your lips look before you put anything on them - your eyes and brows are so beautiful and that is totally enough.
❤️ what I like to do is use 2 nude lip liners, a brown one on the outside and a lighter shade on the inside and blend well. The matte affect and gives you so much dimension

I make my own lipscrub with 1 tbsp petroleum jelly and 1 tbsp of regular sugar. No need for honey unless you want to have to store it in the fridge. Ive tried it both ways and petroleum jelly works better in the exfoliater than the honey imo.
Edit: the honey is also a lot more sticky and messy as well which is one of the main reasons I don't like to use it in my lipscrub.

I really like this lady she’s dope but here’s the thing ... every person I see over lining their lips already have big lips . If you have small lips then your lips are not going to turn out full and nice like hers . It would be nice if someone with small lips actually showed us how to over line our lips not people who already have big lips to begin with.

@@veeversace8649 What you say is sort of true. If you have thinner lips, subtle overlining will not make your lips look like hers, but they can enhance what you have. As a MUA for almost 2 decades, I have made many clients happy with the techniques she shares in this video. It is especially useful for women who have thinner lips due to aging. My lips are full-ish, even at my age, but when I do this, I feel like it turns back time a little bit and I recognize the face in the mirror. It's like, oh! There you are!

GREAT JOB! 😍👏👍Plumpest lips, EVER! I heard a trick from a makeup artist once is by applying a little bronzer right under the crease, between the lower lip & chin to sort of make the lower lip pout more, & add dimension & warmth to the area. While I can agree gloss may overdo it, adding a bit of shimmer in a slightly lighter shade onto the center of the bottom lip was all the rage in the 90s supermodel makeup industry to make the lip appear to come forward did wonders! 😉 Shimmers make features come forward, while matted make them detract.
