The 808 is optimized for the G4 which is why it feels so fast, and rightly so, it's a great chip. I think Qualcomm are denying the overheating issue with the 810 is accurate, but they should say "the 810 doesn't overheat because we have throttled the crap out of it."
I have bought the G4 I can tell you I have never been so happy for buying it, the phone complete me on everything fast performance no lag on texting or anything I have done so far image quality amazing and the great good looking leather I have from T-Mobile is awesome best phone I have bought since the galaxy s4 and the G3 the 5.5 inch screen is a wooow I won't go lower in size, plus the SD card I love LG for doing that.... I recommend the G4 to anyone and I guarantee you will not regret it....
The g4 is the phone for me..i love that display and most of all the removable battery since im most of the time far from a power outlet..and the sd card 3 months ago i bought a 100$ lexar 128gb micro sd card and im glad i could still put t to use on the g4...this is the phone for me..nice 4 features buddy!

Hey, just a heads-up, Sony has been one of the only other few manufacturers to keep SD card storage. The majority of their fleet of phones including the upcoming ones have storage expansion.
No problem man! If only Sony would actually meaningfully upgrade their flagship. Or update their software timely, then again, I am with a carrier and carriers seem to be picky with who and how fast to update with.
My biggest concern is battery life. I've read reviews where some say it can last two days, a day, or before they go to bed. Even though the battery is removable if I don't have to spend money to get a spare battery I won't
I have a lg g2 also. I skipped the g3 because I didn't think the g3 was big difference from the g2, But I'm definitely upgrading to the g4. That and the g flex 2 were the phones I were most interested in along with the sony z4 but sony is taking too long.
well that's that. LG G4. Now it's been rumored that LG is deciding on whether to come out a Metal Version of the LG G4. Rumored to he LG G4 Pro, but i highly doubt that name bcus LG G Pro 3 was not made. guess LG called off the G Pro series
TODAY - If I were to upgrade my Samsung S4 today, it would be to an S5. TOMORROW - However, if Samsung doesn't go back to extra batteries and expandable memory (S7?), and LG stays the course, I will buy the newest LG G4 (G5 or G6). Thank you for sharing this review. p.s. I'm tired of hearing about the snapdragon 810. It DOES NOT have overheating issues, or at least not on the one m9. It had issues on the g flex 2 but im pretty sure that can be fixed like on the m9. The entire one series got slightly hotter than other phones cause of aluminum but it wan't more than the m8. I'm sick of hearing the 810 rumors. I'm sick of them. Also one other thing htc phone still has microsd up to 2 terabytes so yeah anyway doesn't matter just wanted to point it out

By far the best phone I've ever owned. Coming from a galaxy s4, using the g4 has been just perfect.
