  • Our Long Stroke PDP guide rod system will take your PDP Match 5" to the next level. We went back to the drawing board and designed a new system that increases the slide stroke of the PDP to attenuate the recoil over a longer distance. By eliminating the plastic spacer, the slide can travel futher rearward which allows it more distance to slow and softens the impulse as the slide hits its rearward stop. The rod is 5/16" diameter and uses a custom ISMI 14lb spring. We swiss turn the rod from stainless steel and the front cap/bushing from brass for added lubricity. Captured design drops right in the gun. Adding over 40 grams of unsprung mass to the gun helps further reduce muzzle rise. 5" are for the Match models only! 4.5 long stokes are best suited for the PRO SD or Steel Frame models

Any issues with the brass hitting you in the face with your long stroke guide rod?

Best guide rod for the pdp pro 5.1, running no compressor i use this firearm for carry optics competition and want to soften the recoil

So, the current 5-inch Match Long Stroke guide rod will now function in a 5-inch Polymer Match?

Yes It always has. The slides are cut different than a standard poly 5”

If we are shooting the 5.1 inch SD Pro with a suppressor, will this still work?

There are a lot of factors but our 17lb captured or ultra mass would be better. More force to return to battery with a dirty booster and overcome the extra mass impacting barrel tilt.

Do you have long stroke for a 4.5 polymer? Link please. Thanks

How about the PPQ M2 TAC with threaded barrel?

No. You would want our ultra mass or captured rod

Ultra mass vs the long stroke on a poly match . What do you recommend ?

      On a match, long stroke

I have the ultra mass in it now . I’ll grab one off the website and put the ultra mass in my compact 😊

Looks nice, Does this significantly reduce recoil for the full size PDP polymer Match 5"?
    Thank you.

@@zrtacticalsolutions Thank you for the quick response. I've been going back and forth between the Steel Frame and the Polymer. I'm going to order one or the other tomorrow. I'm leaning towards the Steel, but whichever one I go with I want to add your Long Stroke setup. Thanks again!

@@silverbackgorilla2112 the poly match has a great recoil impulse. The polymer really helps absorb some of the recoil. Can’t go wrong

@@zrtacticalsolutions Thanks. The poly is also at least $700 less. I do love a steel frame though. I'll let you know what I go with.
