I’ll try a uniform capsule. It will be challenging bc I still have tons of clothes.😂 Questions I have (that are relevant) is would you make a video about your exercise, swimwear and sleepwear wardrobe. And are there any favorite brands that have held up well over time. e.g. I love LandsEnd swimwear, Brooks Brothers white shirts, etc.

I love you! I also came to this several years back. I have very little but it all works and makes me feel good. I have uniforms ….people don’t notice anything nor do they care. I have to feel good!

I wear jeans or black leggings or blue or black shorts and a t-shirt in a “summer” color (light pink, pale blue, lavender, gray). Done!

I love my husband but he is a horder, I am a minimalist and it drives me insane, when he came home with me he thought I just got my home and wasn’t able to decorate, I looked around and said no I been living here 4 years 🤨. He said my home looked empty, nothing on my walls no Nick nacks… I said nope that’s clutter and I don’t need all that . He litterly hit antique shops and bought all kinds of crap! My minimalist existence is no more, there is stuff everywhere! Wall to wall furniture and Nick nacks galore and if he brings home another fairy for “my” collection which I never realized I had a collection but hubby said it’s mine. I love my husband but yes it drives me insane

Carolyn thank you for the video. I live in Australia and similarly have hot weather, my fantasy self loves all the cold winter clothing (I immigrated from Scotland) but I honestly never have to wear it. I love your style and totally agree that a uniform simplifies the decision making each day.

Hi Cures1 Sure, Lip color is Anastasia liquid in American Doll. they have a regular lipstick in this range which I have tried but I do not like how it applies and the color is not the same. For the nails I have on Christian Dior Pandore, the number is 754. I like Christian Dior for the color range and the nail brush. I would love to know if you purchase any of the above and how you like. Have a good week.:)

@@sherryjobe8941 I have one clutch, black leather, that I use. It fits nicely under my arm. Gosh it must be 30+ years old but at the time was good quality and has lasted the years of use. Actually I am looking for a new one so if you know of a brand let me know. I don't carry a lot with me just purse, phone and disinfectant which I never used prior to covid:(.

Hi Deborah its probably is Ralph Lauren BUT I am not sure as I no longer have it.I do like Brook Brothers. I am not a fan of shopping and when I find something I usually buy two items. I have not purchased a clothing item... well in over a year. Sounds like a video topic right!!! THanks for your comment.
I agree that most people don’t notice or care what I am wearing. At church there are several ladies who have mostly black and white. I love it but I do want to get some pretty shirts like yours.

Accidentally saw this video. Very good video. You look fantastic. I can not rock the red, but boy you do it so well. I am wondering what is your profession or interests? I am currently evaluating my wardrobe. Old corporate style does not work for me anymore and I have donated about 70% of those clothes. I am intrigued currently with the choice of style using body type based on D. Kibee book. Once I deside on the most harmonious style for me, I think I will explore the uniform idea in that style. I can relate to the benefits you are describing. Fun!!

@@CarolynChebaro I did not read the book ( it's hard to get I hear) but I found many interpretations and updates online. I especially appreciated elyssaaesthetic yin and yang video and aly's art interpretations of the book. There are many others. Btw, I misspelled, its Kibbe :) In my 50 plus years I know what works, but I was not sure why. And I was still making mistakes and having to send staff back. With the new knowledge I am training my eyes to see a details in garments that will not work and I understand why. It's just fun. I suspect that I am soft natural body type and I fully see that recommended lines harmonize with my lines. If you want to take a test, I would watch videos first, so that you know how to answer correctly. Miriam style videos are great to understand what is meant by, let's say, " blunt sholders" :)))) cheers!!! Looking forward to more video. I can not believe how we can connect with so many wonderful and interesting people via this platform. Amazing!!
You are in a wonderful group of people who wear a uniform. Wanting a palette cleanser of my wardrobe for the spring I did some searching for inspiration. You, along with Sofia Coppola, Tonne Goodman, and Diane Keaton (in “Something’s Gotta Give”) were my inspiration icons. I’ve narrowed my wardrobe down to black, navy/shades of blue, and white/shades of cool toned neutrals. Most days I wear white jeans, light colored or black pants, a navy/blue, black or white top, blazer/ cardigan/jean jacket in black, navy or taupe. I do wear stripes which include these colors. I am one who does mix black and navy. For now I’ve really enjoyed this uniform. Nothing like white jeans in the spring. I do own several pairs of white jeans and cords. Actually, they’re not as hard to keep clean as you think.
Oh interesting Robyn, this is why I do not own a pair of white trousers or even a skirt. I always assumed that dirt would be an issue... mind you my 4 year old black doggie might present a problem. @@CarolynChebaro I have two dogs and I can be messy. If your not sure buy a less expensive pair and try them out. I wash them in Oxyclean and keep spot wipes in my bag.
