Hey! This is the guy that replaced the windshield in that 350z drift car you put a roll cage in! It’s awesome to see how far this build has come along! Truly awesome! Good work!
Given that this content is from last year I perceive it to be reliable and therefore I’m giving a sub. This will be helpful for my 2jz swap project! Thank you for posting!
It’s pretty accurate, however there were some things I had to change so make sure to watch the rest of my videos. Biggest thing is MAF wiring, and you do NOT need to hook up a Nuetral wire contrary to popular belief
Man i just feel bad there is guy/girls shaking asses and alot more bad doing getting millions of subs this guy shows detailed how to swap 2jz in e36 this man should get millions of subs this is underrated and ty man sm for this vid I'm thinking to swap 2jz in e36 too and this helps soo much
proud of you bro not ganna lie since you didnt post a vid for a few months i thought you was done so im super happy for you and to see you still pumping out great content man.
Nice work. I picked up a large version of that fuse and relay panel. 24 fuses and 16 relays I think. Nice to see your approach. I'm going to try and use connectors so I can pull the relay box though. I'll see how that works out lol
hey i have been watching your videos for a few days now and am getting as much info as possible im building up a ge to put in a R34 4door just got the engine a few days ago for a killer deal.

Hey man awesome videos!! Im wondering what you done with the double cam sensor setup that the gte runs i noticed the head your using only has 1 sensor port, Does it run okay with the 1 sensor or did you relocate the other sensor?
Thanks! Only one of the sensors is needed unless you’re trying to run sequential ignition which the stock ecu doesn’t even do. I don’t believe the vvti engines had dual cam sensors but don’t remember for sure. The Wilbo666 guide will confirm that for you
Huge respect for this kind of videos! I have a 2jzge vvti swapped into is200 (is300 2jzge at ecu) and getting annoyed with whole throttle body. Right now, I'm on my way to go the same tps and apps merge (already made a throttle motor delete mode), so thanks for this great idea! What kind of throttle body/tps you have used? And should it be tunned somehow or stock ecu will do all adjustments by itself?
I have an eBay throttle body. It doesn’t need tuned, but the stock ecu will be unhappy without the electronic throttle body. It may cause you more issues like not being able to rev all the way to rev limit
Quick question on the ground wires going to the coil packs. The quick backstory is I needed to replace all 6 of the 16 gauge wires going to each of the new coil pack clips I purchased for 2000 Lexus GS300 with the 2JZ-GE engine. My mistake that I made is that I didn't label all of the wires before cutting them. 3 of the six wires that provide power do have different color stripes so I'm easily able to figure out which clip those go to. The ground wires are all the same colored stripes. So my question is are the ground wires to the clips completely interchangeable since they are are all the same color?
Also, I spoke with a local mechanic who said that they should be interchangeable since they are just ground wires. But I'm looking for a second opinion as well.
As far as the trans I found a 6 speed (GS6-37BZ) of your 5 speed and was wondering how you wired yours up apart from the rear lockout pin? Love the vids hope to be doing this swap very soon myself 🙌🏾
@@shyamgohil7461 oh shit, maybe there is wiring on it 🤣 I believe the connector is the same so it can just be plugged in. Otherwise, it’s only two wires, just get the connector for the ZF and splice it onto your existing wires. The speed sensor is on the diff, so nothing to worry about there
What would be the easiest way to do this build in a is300 the block and turbo and having a cd009 transmission would the easiest way be to do your own wiring or getting something aftermarket like a standalone? Or can I in someway use the stock ecu 2004 is300 Love the build so much detail thanks.
Aftermarket is WAY easier. A lot more expensive though.Just get a Wiring Specialties harness. I know people do run is300 ecus but I don’t think it’s ideal. I don’t know a whole lot about that option.
Were you able to confirm if the MOL is required ? If you disconnect, does the ecu give you any fits. Planning on not running this sensor and using a DM Delete. Thanks
I’m running the sensor. I don’t see any benefit in not using it unless you don’t have the sensor. But I’m pretty confident the car will still run fine without it

hey man so im running the stock ecu and harness for my 2j (its the vvti twin turbo) and wiring is the final step and im having a hard time finding which wires i need to run relays on and which i need fuses i may have to run some wires threw switches if that makes sense
Did you see the wilbo666 page? It has info on it. You can also look up the 2jz wiring diagram and trace the wires back to their power source. It’s all explained in this video. You only need a relay if you are switching on something that draws a lot of power
Question my friend where I can find the 2jz ge vvti sensors wire diagram so I can find which wire color need to be connected to my ecu and to power I know is one wire to signal and one for power and the ground so I little confused with this I got ecu master that I going to use with my 2jz ge vvti engine swap my 300zx
I have an 02 IS300 2JZ ge vvti. I would like to wire it to run with the stock is300 ecu on the stand to see engine run. Can that ecu support that? Lots of miss information out there. But I am gonna try it. Let me know if you have any insight thanks!
@Teysik awesome thanks man. Love all your videos. Head on over to my channel if you get board and subscribe. Only problem I see is none of the wilbo diagrams are specifically for an is300 but I am sure I'll figure it out.
Looks like your typical DIY ghetto spec wiring harness you see in every drift car. I have fixed a few harnesses like this one, If you want it to simply function and nothing else sure, but I would lose sleep over having a harness like this in one of my cars.
Glad to see an update, gonna be using this series once you finish to boost the IS. Most underrated and detailed guide on youtube.
