That's legit the only logical reason I can come up with that he tried to kill these cops over a damn traffic stop. Unless he's just prejudiced against cops in general. When you are under the influence, either stoned or drunk, you should stay away from anything that clicks or whirrs. Heck, even daily blood pressure meds can literally cause you to to have erratic judgement and more likely to make a mistake.

You need to make sure you don't own a gun if you must take cannabis regularly, having the gun is more dangerous to yourself then the thugs that might attack you. There was a state trooper shot yesterday in coal city, wv during a traffic stop. The suspect somehow got away for a little while cause my entire neighborhood was shut down for a few hours. He was then later deleted trying to enter a home nearby. I hope you cover that story if you can find it.
I hear some people in the comments saying that the guy intentionally self deleted due to mental issues and yeah this is a possibility, especially when you consider that dude definitely seemed off. On the other hand, very few criminals understand basic firearm safety so it’s also possible that he had his finger on the trigger, added a little too much pressure and yeah gone. Hard to know for sure.
When I was a brand new EMT I worked at the trauma center in Baltimore. We had a guy that I would have love to seen the video of but this was close to 30 years ago. 18 year old robbed a guy for his wallet. The man gave his wallet up with no fight. Robber decides to shoot him anyway. His shot missed, struck a light pole and ricocheted into his neck. Didn’t kill him but paralyzed him from the neck down. Talk about instant justice being served

Fun fact about WWZ. The author actually didn't hate it. Random totally unrelated story, the first guy was acting so awkward it made me think of a time I got pulled over for a reason I can't remember. Cop took my ID and ect, and I was hungry and was taking home Wendys. The cop was taking awhile (I was too young to be driving so late, so he escorted me home) and I said screw it and started eating my Wendys. The cop walked up to me mid bite and was super confused, but I was so chill he gave me my ID back and told me to stay home past like 11PM and followed me home as part of the escort. TLDR your immune to citations while eating Wendys
What a way to thin the herd. 1st one caught me off guard. Dude seemed normal and routine. But never underestimate the ability of an idiot taking a basic ticket or something and turning it into a life or death situation.
5 out of the 6 traffic stops, the cops were this cool. The 6th, well, the 6th had the attitude that makes people hate cops. Fortunately, I had the 5 prior encounters with good officers.

A good self offing story from a long time ago- Guy comes into the store with a nylon over his face and a cocked revolver in his hand, demands all the money. The clerk hands all the money over, the guy runs out the store, down the street and into an alley. About a minute later they hear a shot. Cops arrive, then go down the alley to find the guy dead behind a dumpster, nylon still on, gun in his hand, and a hole in the side of his head. They theorized, and it sounds totally plausible if you think about it, that the guy hid behind the dumpster to take off the nylon so he could escape undetected. He tried to remove the mask by hooking his thumb under the edge and peeling it over his head, but it got caught under his chin, which was why he still had it on after his death. So how'd he die? He used the thumb of his right hand, which had a COCKED revolver in it, and his finger was on the trigger. When the nylon snagged it caused his hand to roll, and his trigger finger hit the side of his head and squeezed the trigger. Darwin award.
Oddly enough as soon as I read "they heard a shot" but before reading what their theory was 2 things came to mind. 1: dude tripped in the alley shooting himself in the process, 2: guy shot himself while taking the nylon off because he still had the gun in his hand.
Reminds me of the dude who shot himself robbing either a bank or a store, don't remember which but this one is on video so we know what happened. Dude at the counter didn't put up a fight at all and started handing him the money which the robber happily grabbed with his gun hand. The gun went off, shot the clerk (Who lived) then while struggling to grip it the gun went off again while conveniently pointed at dip shit robber's head.

You're just learning this now?! 😮 In the 70s the police delivered meals to my stepfather who was camped out to protect his business during the Chicago race riots. People shot at my stepfather and threw fire bombs onto the roof of his business. And police brought him food and water so he could continue to protect his business. "Most" police are the real deal, actual brave people risking their own lives to protect society. My stepfathers business survived btw.
I give mad respect to all 3, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and police. They do got alot of their plate, so that's why the ones that go out of their way to not do their job, or do it worse, should be a crime. Nurses that end peoples lives, firefighters that start fires, and police that abuse their power. Simple, same with teachers, guidance counselors. Just because they thought i was well off, I literally was poor as hell, and they wouldn't give me bus tickets and free lunch to come to school everyday, because i already missed too many days? how does that make sense. I will if you provide me ability. (AND exams where near the end so I could still pass easy, like these people ruined some classes for me.) All those donations to feed the poor, is pretty useless, unless to actual food banks. My family got abit from that when needed.

It is so strange. I have been pulled over by the police a dozen times in my life. Always nice and respectful to them and have NEVER had a problem. 50/50 on getting let go with a warning and even when I have gotten a ticket, they have cut me huge breaks. Last month was pulled over going 110 outside of Vegas. Cop was super cool and we talked about how much of an asshole I was driving and we both laughed that I didn't even wait for him to hit his lights. I just pulled over when I passed him on the side of the road. He then gave me a ticket for going 10 miles over the speed limit. Some advice people, just let the cop do his job and feel safe doing it. They don't like having to give you a ticket either. It's their job.
I've probably been pulled over 8-10 times as well, and all of them have been nice and respectful. Never gotten a single ticket, even the one time I was 25 over the limit with an inspection almost a year out of date. It really is as simple as minding your yes sirs and no sirs and doing as they say.

I passed 9 cars on a two lane road (in a passing zone at least) and achieved around 140mph during the pass. Wellll there was NCSHP about 4 cars behind me when I did that. Didn't even notice. He eventually caught up to me about 3 miles later after he got by everyone. I simply asked "Exactly how long have you been back there?" he goes "Long enough to see the most cars passed in my time driving". I go "Sweet, this is a high score award...right!? RIGHT!?". Ended up just getting a verbal warning, talking about what's done to the car, and some good banter. I think there's a major key to all of it though. I, like yourself, are aware of our decisions and aware of the potential consequences. It's no different than being asked to pay for your choices at the grocery store. However, there are multitudes of monumentally stupid people who speed or whatever else and then somehow blame the cop for their consequences. Like the officer was there forcing them to speed by mind control or some shit. They call them road pirates, thieves, etc. It's seriously the dumbest shit. No, they are not robbing...they are enforcing. Even if you always go 5 over, you'll pretty much never have a single issue. But you know what they say about the general public......

To be fair, there used to be a Chinese place in the mall in the city I live in. They got shut down after they found mouse and cat in the freezer. let me tell you, that place had some good food. Depends on what race the driver is, as well as socio-economic status, as to whether or not charges will be filed. May also depend on if the gun toting robber lives or not.

As a World War Z fan (the novel) I'm with you there. They had the perfect setup to just playout each interview as an episode with occasional narration and clarification by the character being interviewed. You could even do several interviews per episode for the shorter ones. Instead we got a shitty generic action flick.
the hilarious thing about the movie is it's genuinely so boring at times I find myself thinking about the unimportant stuff, like man the main character's wife really got lucky with managing to get a guy that is like 15 times hotter than her, and man nobody in Jerusalem had the thought that maybe making a shit ton of noise attracting tens of thousands of zombies maybe wasn't the best route to take? even if they weren't capable of climbing like ants that still doesn't seem like the best choice of option

Eh the book wasn't that good even a miniseries. Unless they make massive changes for how the M16 and US Armed Forces are portrayed. A Zombie Apocalypse would be easily stopped once the military learns headshots work which should be quick. Or you know that the Army has Apaches, Abrams Tanks, M1128 MLRS, 155mm Howitzers etc that should obliterate large group of zombies.

The Battle of Yonkers has them digging foxholes (against an enemy that doesn't use any range attacks which foxholes are designed to be used against) or doing the basic precautions of securing the area before the battle and not covering their flanks.
I prefer the books The movie isn’t bad… It’s just generic nothing about it made me exited to watch the actions scenes were ok. The zombies themselves were fairly unnerving but overall just a generic zombie flick

There was a state trooper shot yesterday in coal city, wv during a traffic stop. The suspect somehow got away for a little while cause my entire neighborhood was shut down for a few hours. He was then later deleted trying to enter a home nearby. I hope you cover that story if you can find it.

I hear some people in the comments saying that the guy intentionally self deleted due to mental issues and yeah this is a possibility, especially when you consider that dude definitely seemed off. On the other hand, very few criminals understand basic firearm safety so it’s also possible that he had his finger on the trigger, added a little too much pressure and yeah gone. Hard to know for sure.

When I was a brand new EMT I worked at the trauma center in Baltimore. We had a guy that I would have love to seen the video of but this was close to 30 years ago. 18 year old robbed a guy for his wallet. The man gave his wallet up with no fight. Robber decides to shoot him anyway. His shot missed, struck a light pole and ricocheted into his neck. Didn’t kill him but paralyzed him from the neck down. Talk about instant justice being served

Fun fact about WWZ. The author actually didn't hate it. Random totally unrelated story, the first guy was acting so awkward it made me think of a time I got pulled over for a reason I can't remember. Cop took my ID and ect, and I was hungry and was taking home Wendys. The cop was taking awhile (I was too young to be driving so late, so he escorted me home) and I said screw it and started eating my Wendys. The cop walked up to me mid bite and was super confused, but I was so chill he gave me my ID back and told me to stay home past like 11PM and followed me home as part of the escort. TLDR your immune to citations while eating Wendys

A good self offing story from a long time ago-
Guy comes into the store with a nylon over his face and a cocked revolver in his hand, demands all the money. The clerk hands all the money over, the guy runs out the store, down the street and into an alley.
About a minute later they hear a shot.
Cops arrive, then go down the alley to find the guy dead behind a dumpster, nylon still on, gun in his hand, and a hole in the side of his head.
They theorized, and it sounds totally plausible if you think about it, that the guy hid behind the dumpster to take off the nylon so he could escape undetected. He tried to remove the mask by hooking his thumb under the edge and peeling it over his head, but it got caught under his chin, which was why he still had it on after his death.
So how'd he die?
He used the thumb of his right hand, which had a COCKED revolver in it, and his finger was on the trigger.
When the nylon snagged it caused his hand to roll, and his trigger finger hit the side of his head and squeezed the trigger.
Darwin award.
Oddly enough as soon as I read "they heard a shot" but before reading what their theory was 2 things came to mind. 1: dude tripped in the alley shooting himself in the process, 2: guy shot himself while taking the nylon off because he still had the gun in his hand.

Dude at the counter didn't put up a fight at all and started handing him the money which the robber happily grabbed with his gun hand. You're just learning this now?! 😮 In the 70s the police delivered meals to my stepfather who was camped out to protect his business during the Chicago race riots. People shot at my stepfather and threw fire bombs onto the roof of his business. And police brought him food and water so he could continue to protect his business. "Most" police are the real deal, actual brave people risking their own lives to protect society. My stepfathers business survived btw.
I give mad respect to all 3, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and police.
They do got alot of their plate, so that's why the ones that go out of their way to not do their job, or do it worse, should be a crime.

It is so strange. I have been pulled over by the police a dozen times in my life. Always nice and respectful to them and have NEVER had a problem. 50/50 on getting let go with a warning and even when I have gotten a ticket, they have cut me huge breaks. Last month was pulled over going 110 outside of Vegas. Cop was super cool and we talked about how much of an asshole I was driving and we both laughed that I didn't even wait for him to hit his lights. I just pulled over when I passed him on the side of the road. He then gave me a ticket for going 10 miles over the speed limit. Some advice people, just let the cop do his job and feel safe doing it. They don't like having to give you a ticket either. It's their job.
I've probably been pulled over 8-10 times as well, and all of them have been nice and respectful. Never gotten a single ticket, even the one time I was 25 over the limit with an inspection almost a year out of date.

Dude, you nailed it. Get them to laugh and you're golden. Just like the stand up comedian "Fluffy" says. I passed 9 cars on a two lane road (in a passing zone at least) and achieved around 140mph during the pass. Wellll there was NCSHP about 4 cars behind me when I did that. Didn't even notice. He eventually caught up to me about 3 miles later after he got by everyone. I simply asked "Exactly how long have you been back there?" he goes "Long enough to see the most cars passed in my time driving". I go "Sweet, this is a high score award...right!? RIGHT!?". Ended up just getting a verbal warning, talking about what's done to the car, and some good banter.
I think there's a major key to all of it though. I, like yourself, are aware of our decisions and aware of the potential consequences. It's no different than being asked to pay for your choices at the grocery store. However, there are multitudes of monumentally stupid people who speed or whatever else and then somehow blame the cop for their consequences. Like the officer was there forcing them to speed by mind control or some shit. They call them road pirates, thieves, etc. It's seriously the dumbest shit. No, they are not robbing...they are enforcing. Even if you always go 5 over, you'll pretty much never have a single issue. But you know what they say about the general public......

As a person that had more then my share of unjust cop interactions due to my motorcycle club affiliation, i still have the smarts to 1, not do illegal stuff, and 2, always be polite and comply. At 66 years old, never been inside a cop car and im good with that.

Yep I don’t care what state you’re in if someone attempts a violent crime against another person, it should automatically eliminate the criminal’s rights, and the potential victim should be legally able to handle the situation anyway they see fit. As far as that “running away” bullshit? I think it should be mandated that you try even harder to eliminate that thread… way too many criminals out there with lengthy records who at some point, had to “run away” which in turn, allow them to commit another crime, and eventually kill someone who is a lot more innocent, then the criminal who killed them.

As a World War Z fan (the novel) I'm with you there. They had the perfect setup to just playout each interview as an episode with occasional narration and clarification by the character being interviewed. You could even do several interviews per episode for the shorter ones.
Instead we got a shitty generic action flick.
the hilarious thing about the movie is it's genuinely so boring at times I find myself thinking about the unimportant stuff, like man the main character's wife really got lucky with managing to get a guy that is like 15 times hotter than her, and man nobody in Jerusalem had the thought that maybe making a shit ton of noise attracting tens of thousands of zombies maybe wasn't the best route to take? even if they weren't capable of climbing like ants that still doesn't seem like the best choice of option

They had helis circling the zone but somehow none of them picked up the zombies piling on each other before it was too late, what were they circling for? No ditch? Why? You know those things need to get in cqc range, just dig a ditch, fill it up with woods and barbed wires and have sentries defending, problem solved
Eh the book wasn't that good even a miniseries. Unless they make massive changes for how the M16 and US Armed Forces are portrayed. A Zombie Apocalypse would be easily stopped once the military learns headshots work which should be quick. Or you know that the Army has Apaches, Abrams Tanks, M1128 MLRS, 155mm Howitzers etc that should obliterate large group of zombies.

The Battle of Yonkers has them digging foxholes (against an enemy that doesn't use any range attacks which foxholes are designed to be used against) or doing the basic precautions of securing the area before the battle and not covering their flanks.
