Nice Video fam. I have 2 questions. Do you compress your samples and what's your thoughts on the 2.6 firmware update. I'm still using 2.4. Should I update?
Hey I don't usually compress my samples and 2.6 is ok I've had no issues and everything seems to be working fine although I think there's a bug in song mode.

Yo what If they had a dry wet knob for each of the four layers you have per pad. That way you could mix in the effects of a pad per layer and add parallel effects that way

Hi, thanks a lot for this video. I think, we can use too the Sends from the Send Tab, down of the screen in the Mix Section, selecting the Send 1 to 4 and the level of the sending for every programs. You know what I mean ? Actually, setting the Sends from the Effect Tab in the Program Edit Section as you explained seems to be not possible with the internal Plugins of the Mpc because there is no access to this section for this kind of Programs. Right ?
I think you are correct, I tried this last night using sends for individual instruments in a drum program but I could only affect pad 1 using send? ( not my snare on pad 2 hat on 3 etc)

Is it generally better do this stuff on individual sounds or you can get kind of the same result if you throw most of the EQ, Comp, and FX on the Master Bus? Been experimenting with Limiter and Compressors and Shelving EQ's on the Master Bus for a while though i work on Maschine. I get kind of lazy to do all these things on individual sounds. I throw most of the FX and EQ on the Master Bus and i use Limiter and Tape Saturation that glues it all together and i still get a full rich sound with no clipping or distortion or destroying too much the original sounds.
What are those 4 sends specifically for? Is the top one just wet and dry? And what is 2,3 and 4 for?...SBN RESONATE

You have to click in the encoder now to assign rather than just pressing the pad and scrolling

Aren't these compressors on older mpc models?
The Mpc 2000 XL doesn't have a compressor. I don't remember the 2500 having a compressor. I don't know about the other ones
