I love the fact that you included the drop in your video this makes it more entertaining I've been watching you since your adult personal playground so
Loved TV dinners when I was a kid. Of course 40 years ago they came in foil trays so they had to be cooked in the oven. My grandma hated it because she wanted us to eat a meal at the table like civilized humans and my grandpa and I were like we want to watch TV. 😅
It used to be. I loved their Fried Chicken, as it was always a real bone-in chicken leg and thigh. My favorite pieces. Now it's the "formed meat slurry concoction". 😮 "Hungry Man"? I'd still be hungry after eating these newer meals. 😒
One of the local takeaway favourites around where I live (north east of england), the Chicken Parmesan is a popular dish, though made in various ways, but usually is a chickenboob beaten 'til flat, breaded & deep fried, then covered in either a bechamel sauce or marinara sauce, then cheesed & baked 'til melty, and usually served with a big helping of deep-fried potato sticks, pretty good and very filling, one meal is usually good for two people (or one fat me)... :P
Back in the day at the cafeteria at work (80's & early 90's) the chix patty on a hamburger bun was a HUGE seller. Cheese, mayo, lettuce & tomatoe was a tasty lunch!
Love you, Larry! I saw the plastic fork and thought "that's gonna fall off" a second before it did. Plastic forks don't hold food well since the tine is a wide taper so it doesn't break off as easily (still pretty easy). You found a metal fork for the oven one!

I got one of these at Ralph's today before watching this video because I never saw one. Paid $4.00 on sale. Green beans didn't touch, brownie was ok. Tasted pretty good, recommend sprinkling some cheese and a 85c can of sauce on top.
Looks like a winner. I like that it had pasta instead of potatoes like every other meal. I think the green beans were a good choice. for $5 and some change that's a decent meal, kids would probably love it also. Your sandwich looked nice, that and a side salad would do me.
I generally enjoy sweet tomato sauces, however, I also know there's a line between perfectly sweet and sickeningly sweet. I liked the sandwich idea at the end.
Genuinely curious: Do you mean you experience an explicit allergic response or do you mean you feel gross after eating it? I've never come across any documented case of a sodium allergy cause that would pretty much be a death sentence.

To be fair, I was more impressed they had green beans and not corn. Most of their meals have corn.
Corn is for farm animals.
My (former) uncle-by-marriage always said that in his country, corn was what they fed the pigs.

Americans as a culture lost a lot when it became normal to not eat meals with your family around a table.

So much smaller than they used to be, due to shrinkflation. That's the size regular tv dinners used to be in the 2000s.
