I was hoping to find an encouraging message on TH-cam this evening with some spiritual insight into the events of this year. Nothing was coming up so I moved on to crochet video's. And I 'happened' to watch your video. And at 20 min and 20 sec (ta da!) you speak the message my heart needs to hear. A message so much simpler than I was looking for and exactly what I need right now. Thank you and bless you.
Thank you so much for what you said at the end because litarally this morning my beloved cat that I have had since i was two passed and I really needed to hear that.
Amanda thank you for doing these videos for crotching I am a breast cancer serviver for the past 3 years and crotching helps with my healing. I struggle on some crotching due to chemo brain and I find crotching items I can do and saw your video and yes I can do it. Just wanted to say thank you.
Thank you for lifting my spirit this evening too. With a lovely video of a beautiful mitten. I am 72 and trying to find a gift to do for my 86-year-old aunt for Christmas. Your words of trial and blessings are so great to hear.
Awe... 🙏🏻bless you & your family. Each day I thank him. I have so much to be thankful for! He continues to bless my husband and I, so grateful. Stay safe!
I absolutely love this tutorial. I know it’s a couple years old now but I JUST found you! At nearly 40 years old I am just now learning crochet basics 🙈 but your video made me feel encouraged AND excited to try these arm/hand warmers! I am so glad I found your channel!!❤️❤️❤️ also I’m Amanda too 🤗
Amanda, you are inspiring. I am 43 years old and woke up last week deciding to buy my first crochet needle and yarn. I made it to the 5th round and decided I must have done something wrong and thought I wasn't ready for your projects since I just began this week (you are an incredible instructor and so pleasant to listen to). AND THEN......'My power is made perfect in weakness...." We are new to vocational ministry in the past 3 years and there have been so major challenges and even now we are in the middle of a huge transition for our family. Thank you for reminding me that I do not have to be strong and ready to be called and sent! I know this video is a couple of years old now, but it's still preaching today!! God's grace and blessing to you as you go!
Leo Sandoval hey Amanda, , happy thanksgiving! I love the gloves, been getting different patterns because I need to make several scarf/glove gifts for my daughters coworkers and I will def be using this pattern for a pair. I live in NYC and it's a whopping 5 degrees today so yes, I'm wearing a pair of fingerless right now but need mittens soon! TY for the tutorial! 💜🙏🏻😻
God bless you and hope your mother gets even better with each day that passes . I had go through it when my mother had cancer but thanks to God it was only a month of chemotherapy but you never want to see love ones go through any pain its too sad . Take care and be happy God loves you. .... Oh and I'm doing gloves !!! Ones for my hubby and small modify versions for my toddlers
I'm so glad I found you! I know what u mean, I live in AZ and winter is great but 50degrees is cold to us!! I'm going to make mitten for all five granddaughters thank you so much!
These are so beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing this tutorial with us! I loved the verse you shared! God wants us to draw near to him when things are the worst! It’s when he’s doing his best work in your life! God bless you and your family!
Thank you Danielle ❤️ I could agree more! I’ve noticed that in my life, the most uncomfortable times have become the biggest blessings in time. Thank you for you sweet comment & God bless you. Merry Christmas & happy New Year 🎄💕
You made me smile all alone in my livingroom... I live in St-Hubert, Québec, Canada. What you call cold, here we call it spring. Tks for sharing this tutorial... it helps during the confinement.
Thank you for having a courage to share your story. Recently I have been so stressed and I feel the need to look for videos to do fingerless gloves but I have no experience in knitting and crocheting. Then, I found your video and message at the end of video. I am so glad that I stayed in till the end. The message speaks to me and for me reminding me the bigger picture and faith. Thank you so much🙏❤️
I live in Manitowoc Wisconsin. Today it's not bad..around 18 degrees, but come January, your looking at -10 on a nice day..-20 with a windchill making it feel like -40. These fingerless gloves will keep my hands warm at work!
Thank you for this pattern…I made fingerless gloves for my granddaughters when they were younger. This video is great and I will make them more. Now that they are little ladies!! Thank you
Thanks so much for your video. I'm home from work recovering from four surgery right now so I'm crocheting like crazy. My co-workers are going to love the wrist warmers. I also want to say that you're super sweet and adorable. I appreciate the Bible quote. I think I needed it and didn't even know it. God bless you and your family. Continue on you journey and I wish you all the best. Fyi, I'm in Houston so I agree that anything under 50° is cold. Because it's so hot here the office buildings are generally freezing so we all have blankets and sweaters in our offices. These wrist warmers will be used a lot.
Wishing you a fast recovery Tracy! 💞 God bless you & thank you so much for the encouragement. & that’s so sweet that your making wrist warmers for your co-workers. I hope they enjoy them!
Just got done making my first glove! It was a little confusing to follow along with this video though, as you made a lot of cuts that I wish were just included (I'm a beginner). It took a couple of tries to make my final one and I made some alterations, like taking away a couple stitches near the wrist and adding them back when I got to the hand. I made mine go to my elbow too. I love your videos!
Love this! I altered pattern a bit to compensate for the bulky "5" weight yarn that I used (Loops & Threads Charisma). I used HDC for ribbing; and from base of hand to base of fingers, I used single crochet in back loops only (less bulk than up/down stitch which has a boucle effect). Love the result of varied stitches in arm (cable), wrist (up-down)/ and hand (SC) sections. Thanks for sharing! 😍
TY for the Bible verse....just what I needed for tonight on October 4th, 2020....a year later than this pattern YT....His word has no restrictions of our times to bring life! Hope your mom is doing well
Yes this is a great pattern...and AMEN for your blessings out of the diversity you and your family were facing recently. You continue your journey and so we can help support your wonderful creative ideas . 🤗
This was such a great video to watch thank you so much for making it! I’m a Christian to, and I just want to let you know that I will definitely be praying for you throughout your journey. And yes thank God that you were hurt in your car accident!!!
Thank you for this lovely pattern - our heating has broken, and I had enough wool left over from crocheting a cardigan to make these lovely gloves to match. I'm much warmer now :)
I absolutely love this pattern! Not only is it beautiful but right and left are the same! When you're making them as gifts the recipient should be able to wear them on either hand and not have to think is this for the right or left hand! So many patterns have alternate ways of doing each one, so thank you so very much for making this pattern! You rock! You've made my job so much easier! Blessings from Florida 💕💕💕
Thank you for the idea. I'm gonna make my first gloves and it looks a lot less intimidating this way where the project is all one piece and not two separate ones that have to come together.

These are so comfortable! Made them to prepare for the Nevada winter and are currently working on the other for the pair. Had to make a little size increase to the cuff but the pattern still worked beautifully. Thanks for posting ^-^
You are a very good teacher. I really like this tutorial. I love scripture always. Thanks for sharing. Always choose to believe, God bless you. Blessings!!!!!
I have crochet a few projects, mostly corner to corner and granny square. Im very new at this, but you made this look so easy. I can't wait to try this project. Thank you for sharing.
I started making these on my own but kept having problems, thank you dear for making it much easier for me.. You can teach an old dog new tricks😂.. God bless you with your faith and passion.. Keep sharing the Good News of His words.❤️🙏
@@angiejavonrt I've known several people back when I was in school who came from either warmer states or warm countries who had never seen snow in their lives, it's amazing to see people's perspectives. But on the other side, we would complain about it being hot when it was 80° out and they would be in a light jacket and jeans no problem lol

Amanda Awesome Thanks for teaching and sharing blessed I live in Jamaica the heart of the Caribbean and its always blazing hot except late Dec to Mid Feb. in the mornings it gets cool unless you are in the Blue Mountains it gets as cold as where you live Amanda
Thanks for sharing this pattern. I've tried a number of fingerless mittens crochet patterns on TH-cam and yours is the only one that's worked out well. I made mine with yarn scraps so have two different brightly coloured fingerless mittens, which I love!
I live in Alaska so these are AWESOME!!! I’m so brand new to crochet that I didn’t even know about different sized hooks and yarn 😂 SUPER easy tutorial, I’m working on my first pair now!
Hi Amanda, I love the look of your fingerless gloves, and also the gorgeous cuff. I will be making mine in light grey. I’m in Australia 🇦🇺. I love that you speak clearly and show your movements clearly and explain what your doing at each step. I’m glad I found you on you tube, yes I have subscribed to learn more from you as I have only been crocheting since October 2018 ( just over a yr) I’m a beginner but hooked from the heart with this craft 🧶😀🧶
So excited to try this pattern. I enjoyed the video tutorial, very well done and easy to watch and understand. You are very beautiful and nicely spoken which makes it a pleasure to watch. Thank you for sharing.
really enjoyed this tutorial, signed up for the written pattern, didnt receive it, but this is easy enough that i just quick jotted it down myself.......will try other tutorials for sure! thanks!
You are a blessing 🙏🏻. I just found your channel and am so glad. I liked your video on fingerless gloves. I plan on making a pair for my granddaughter . Thank you!

Thank you for sharing, I love this stitch it's beautiful. You're voice is so sweet and calming. God bless you

I live in Alaska so these are AWESOME!!! I’m so brand new to crochet that I didn’t even know about different sized hooks and yarn 😂 SUPER easy tutorial, I’m working on my first pair now!
Same but I don’t live in Alaska
😊❤crochet wishes to u😊
Stay strong. Stay positive always.
Thank you Lisa! I appreciate you ❤️
These are great and easily adjusted!
Yes! You can use any stitch for the top & it should also work out great :)
hey used to live in Vegas for 12 yrs now in San Diego! Thanks for the tutorial! And yeah I am always cold here by the coast!!!
Great video, in a vegas girl as well! Originally from Hawaii so anything below 75 is jacket weather as far as I’m concerned. Subscribed!!
