    Gary outdid himself with that yarn. It’s absolutely gorgeous. 😍 I’ve made fingerless gloves in the past, without the individual finger holes. I thought it was way too complicated to make them. Once again you’ve proved me wrong. You took what seemed like an insurmountable task and broke it into easy to understand steps. Not only is it simple, but it’s a quick project too. Thank you so much!! It’s perfect for the 2 people I’d been wracking my brain what to make them this year. Thank you ever so much for the perfect timing!!! Cheers from FL😺

    I made this for my 19-year-old daughter to go with a cat ear beanie I made. I then posted the results on in one of my favorite Crochet groups on Facebook and so many people loved the gloves they wanted to know where I got the pattern from. So, I of course sent them to the Etsy pattern and here; hope I was able to introduce someone new to your amazing patterns Crystal!

    OMG you are the most generous lady on TH-cam. Please don't let a few shit heads make you second guess yourself or feel you need to defend your choice to support animal rescue. Every person who donated or took part knew it was for animal rescue. So to come on the end and tell you that was too much for animals...well I'm sure you know where they can go. People took part because they also support animal welfare and support you for championing a small animal welfare 501.c.3 who struggles to do what they do.
    You are my hero Chrystal. Be proud of spearheading two auctions; and when the creeps say bad things, remind yourself how many dogs, kitties and bunnies will be saved because of you and your supporters. Bless you! ❤

  • @SwirlsDancing
    @SwirlsDancing ปีที่แล้ว +8

    Thank you! I have watched many crochet tutorials on this site and I have to say that there are many videos with clear enough instructions, some not so much. I have never seen a crochet tutorial that has more clear instructions than yours. I like the way your instructions are succinct and thorough, leaving nothing out, and you don't add in any side talk to lengthen your video. When I want to learn a pattern, that's exactly what i want to see and hear, and nothing else. If I wanted to hear about someone's sister's husband's cousin's dog while watching a video, I would not search out a crochet tutorial, I'd do a search for extraneous gossip! Kudos to you on your excellent teaching technique! I'm subscribing to your channel!

    Thank you so much for taking the time to specifically say "hey, when you join and start working in your round, MAKE SURE you're working in the front, otherwise it'll be crocheted inside out." Because apparently I've been crocheting tubes inside out for 7 years now!!! i had to stop halfway through a glove and frantically google, and your video was the first of a dozen that clearly pointed that out. Thank you!!!

    Here to say that u are a great teacher and have a wonder way of crocheting, I started making gloves for child who is 10, hands are a little smaller then mine, but stopped after making the border and a few rounds I realised they were too big for me even, but I learned how to make the ribbed border and stitching it in a seamless way following ur video, that was a milestone for my crocheting journey, I tried to make it on my first ever cardigan project but couldn’t understand it, eventually gave up, but ur this project taught me the ribbed border, and I am grateful

    thank you for the tutorial! I ended up changing some of the stitch counts/measurements as I have very small hands and the gloves would have otherwise been too large. Despite this, they turned out fantastically! I have been crocheting for several years, but struggle with following tutorials & patterns due to a processing disorder that makes understanding this sort of thing difficult, however I was able to follow this one easily, and even make changes to the pattern to fit my hands better!

    This is an amazing teaching video. You clearly now how to teach and where people stumble. Thanks so much for this generosity.

    Thank you Crystal ❣️❣️❣️ I'm going to attempt these for my bf , he has an excavator business ,and he buys whatever he wants ,so that leaves me not being able to have him Christmas gifts ,but I think he would use these 😁

    Thanks for the video. I made a similar pair in knitting and it seemed impossible to avoid holes between the fingers. This pattern looks much quicker and easier and no holes.🎉

    Thank you for this tutorial. I made some adjustments to the count and rows since these are a birthday present for a 7 year old girl (my poor son was my hand model 😂) I also used a few rows of HDC and changed colors with Spike sc rows to match closer to the beanie I made for her also. Great tutorial! I’ve never made gloves before!
