Actually flame is quite solid for defense. Excluding the standard Flame 230CS, Flame is also quite solid on 90RS or as anti attack with 90RF (RF must be significantly worn first)
Unrelated but my defense combo to use in mfl is Rock Bull 90RSF
Am more of an attack type fan, so my go to defense type is actually a counter attacker instead, I love using unpopular fusion wheels, so the combo is
Energy ring: Dragonis
Wheel: Counter mode Fang Leone
Spin track: ED 145
Tip: CS

My favorite defense combo I used is a what evolution to Twisted Tempo, Fusion Tempo GB145 WD. I will be getting a rubber sharp soon but gotta use what you have.

I don’t have that many Beyblade parts. So I have no idea how to make the best defense type but out of the parts I do have I made a defense/stamina type that can out spin and ko pretty much any Beyblade
Wdy think about kreis because i think its round and not very bumpy, its default mode can defend against low attackers but u can generate some recoil against low atkrs when u flip the metal frame. Idk but i wana know wy think
Balance types aren't a combination of two types, but a combination of all three. In Aquila's case, the attack aspect comes in the form of the sloped sections of the Earth Wheel that could potentially give it upper attack properties when tilted. Notice how Aquila's clear wheel exposes so much of those slopes? Of course, in practice, it's more of a stamina type.
i just want to know, what's the real difference between defense and balance?
because since defense doesn't want to attack, it must outspin attack...
Wich means every defense wants some stamina
then the only conceptual difference between balance and defense would be attack potential
is that right? Because many defense beyblades have some attack potential only because of rubber and the weight
Balance types tend to have a closer balance between one or more types. Defense types still spec more into defense than balance. For example rock leone compared to earth aquila, aquila has less KO resistance but more spin time than leone but has less raw stamina than pure stamina types like burn pheonix

Facilitates tilting to protect the ratchet, helps to stay away from the xtreme line, loses to ball tips due to being destabilised easily.
