I think a cool entrance for Luke in Force Awakens would be as the Rebels are going through their roll call before they attack Starkiller Base and as they go through it, Red 1, Red 2, Red 3, Red 4 and to all the other pilots surprise, Luke calls in Red 5 standing by out of nowhere.

When everybody did their call signs, I just wouldn’t of had any of them be red.
I would’ve had Luke say something along the lines of “red five request permission to fly at your wing commander. “
to me this feels like an actual fix of what the sequel trilogy should've been, I wouldn't have any problem with the sequels if this had been the plot

What if Sidious, Dooku, Asajj, And Grievous all landed on Mortis and encountered The Father, Abeloth, The Son, And The Daughter?
Lightsabers are practically Useless against the ones Proven in the Mortis arc and unless they can Aquire the Mortis Dagger without being Detected by the ones which is Unlikely in my opinion they'll never escape Mortis not through Conventional Combat atleast

I may not like the sequels I will say I like how you've adapted the sequels. Your writing style is distinct and interesting., That being said I think you do best when you move away from canonical characters because you add so much more life to the galaxy.

The way he erites, and narrates, was calming, and the stories let my mind drift, which kept me from dwelling on the situation.

First of all, your stuff is fantastic. I discovered the channel a couple weeks ago and I've been intermittently listening to each piece with no real rhyme or reason other then "whichever is new" and "whichever I randomly see recommended to me that peaks my interest". I'm listening to the current Sith Empire in the Clone Wars series and I love it.
I do enjoy the sequels. I don't think they're perfect, or even as good as what came before, but I had fun watching them and I like the characters. This, absolutely, was an AMAZING sort of "re imagining" of that Era. I sat down and listened to the whole thing beginning to end and consider it time well spent, so thank you for that.
People can be really, unreasonably vindictive towards anything just remotely referring to things they don't like, so I'm sorry you had to deal with that. You do you, and there will always be people who want to hear it, no matter which time period you're in. Anyway, if you do see this then thanks for the great stories.
I agree. On two things. I found this year after it came out and I’ve been listening to his stuff for months.
I also agree about the people can be too vindictive. I don’t like them. I think they reset people to the start of their arcs too much.
However, yeah, some people wanting to throw out the baby with the bathwater, which is really what Disney did with the expanded universe, is not a good thing.

Nice to hear that you are embracing the dark side and are writing for the sequel trilogy. What many haters don't understand is that the sequels is supposed to be for the future, for new ideas. Yes, honor the past frame work but don't limit yourself to it. Otherwise, creativity stagnates. I blame Disney and boardroom politics that goes on. Butchering creativity in the name of profit.

By my standards, the Sequel Trilogy deserve the same level of respect and love as Prequel and Original Trilogies, the animated timeline movie standing out nicely!!!

I still think it's funny how Kylo killed the entire New Jedi Order (other then Luke) yet he lost to someone that didn't know how to use the force and had never used a lightsaber. Shows how crappy the writers are in Disney.
The primes of the question is unwarranted.... with this question one assumes she had never used a weapon at all. She obviously had experience with stick/staff based weaponry a sword if done right isn't much different...then change sword to lightsaber and oooh easy translation.....
Perhaps the new jedi order was caught off guard and didn't know Ben(Kylo) was an enemy until it was literally too late...just a thought....
Like. Let's try a real world scenario, a person is in a loud night club doesn't realize bullets are being fired until he is either shot or noticed people running and falling.
@@KYWAN_MURPHY_O.G.N.C. ok you do understand that a staff as well as it's fighting style it totally different from a sword, and a lightsaber is on an even different playing field. I'm guessing you have never used any kind of weapon IRL. I have been using staff, polearms, swords and a few other weapons for over 30 years and you can't train and use one kind and pick up another and use it the same or even expect the same results. Even a staff and polearm, while similar, are two totally different fighting styles and to use one fighting style with the other weapon you would lose in a fight with someone that even has moderate training.
A lightsaber has no tip weight so trying to use it like a sword would have the same results as a polearm fighter using a staff. Yes you may be able to use rudimentary movements but you sure won't win a fight against someone with any actual training with a lightsaber let alone against someone that was supposed to be the best the New Jedi could offer.
If you don't believe me get a full suite that is reactive to black lights and use a flashlight that allows you to adjust the beam to a narrow focus and try doing some normal moves in the dark. After look at yourself in a full body mirror and see how many times you hit yourself. Then try the same moves with a wood practice sword and see how easy or not it is to do the same moves.

The truth is , a character can do what ever the writer writes for them. I feel the Rey hatred is stupid and rooted in a lot more than " I think its bad writing".... i honestly think the sequels will end up just like the prequals....people ranted and raved about how bad they were....in a few years when the generation who got introduced to starwars through the sequels gets to speak it will be accepted just like the prequels....
Edit.....I saw starwars, the OT starwars....I got to see episode 4 with my dad on VHS and Empire and ROTJ in theaters.
I got to see the prequals with my little brother in theaters....I enjoyed it because he enjoyed it...my children enjoyed the sequals...I enjoyed it through their eyes.... it's about love and passing it on to those who come after us to share the galaxy far far away....you don't have to like it but you can't trip when others do.

This could have been the story of the sequels. It's so sad, that Finn and Rey never get to be great fighters and Jedis, they could have been. And I like Luke in this far more, he stays true to his ideals and I am glad, that he doesn't necessarily need to die at the ending. And I also like, that Kylo Ren grew into a real proper villain. Thanks. :)

I thought her decisions to keep the person who was in essence, the commander of her fighter wing, her CAG completely in the dark about her plan was insane. Literally, I was assuming by the point right before she revealed her plan that she was a first order spy.
I thought that the action she took should have been given to Akbar, especially since Akbar‘s origins were literally them, wanting to show that goodness is not always beautiful.

You make Luke and Laia seem weak because of their age. They would only be in their 60s. Qui Gon was in his 60s when he was killed and force users. Even humans can live strong for at least 80 to 100 years.
