    To me vougeing was created by us ( the gay community) to manifest our anger and distain of being treated like 2nd class citizens and just overall oppressed in a positive way. Also in vouge you create lines and movements similar to models which we sometimes aspired to be due to the poise, grace, power and elgance models had and with vougeing we could be that. models

      @Mr. F. Too bad the Asians were too oppressed by Asian filial duties to join. We would have so much fun if we 3 communities were together.

    So essentially, if someone had beef, they could just say "you wanna vogue bitch?! you wanna vogue??!!" hahaha I dunno but that sounds funny, but at the same time good on you for not going to throwing hands, lets just dance each other to the ground.

      She most definetly DOES NOT get credit for Voguing. She has ALWAYS stated she was INSPIRED by Gay NY culture and all its many facets. She merely brought it to the masses and helped pave the way for it to be more accepted along with the Queer movement.

    OMG the IGNORANT hateful comments about madonna have to stop! She is part of this movement, hired a lot of the original dancers that taught her how to vogue, and went to see this movie THREE times in the theatre and always supported them! Where are the jackson comments about him taking inspiration from the guy who did the moonwalk? You're attacking the wrong person! Just because she's famous it doesn't mean she is a bad person! Fuck off! She did more for the gay/LGBT/drag community than most people in music, especially at that time!!

    • @finessewright9458

      Stop. That was a business move. She capitalized off of the vogue scene. Then left the community in the dust when it was said and done suga.

    • @louiselouisethebest
      @louiselouisethebest ปีที่แล้ว

      @@finessewright9458 "left the community" she never has. Im so tired of people online writing their own narrative/wishful thinking as facts. if you know anything about her, you know what you say is false. in fact, she did more than she needed. her dancers even stayed at her place months after the job was finished and helped them in their careers. other artists never do this stuff! she has always supported the community. she even paid a one million dollar fine in russia for speaking out!
