Have fun out there! I’m from the North shore (Haleiwa) so you gotta check it out! It’s centralized from our historic “surf town” and has a ton of beautiful beaches and great food! I’m currently stationed in WA state so I’m excited to take leave and be in the sun again 😂

You are living exactly the life I'm going to be living when I end up with my assignment lol. I'm going Cyber Systems Ops so this is most likely what my apartment will look like in the next year or two lol. So glad I have money saved so I'm not scrounging when I get there.

Hi we are PCS to Hawaii Hickham no hard orders yet husband is deployed asked me to look for community or neighborhood I want to live at but hickham I saw house tours on you tube and looks old and comments said lots of bugs dirty maintenance was not good. Did you look into
Hickham base housing where is good place more updated or new know of a community or where to go that is near hickham ?
Hi: we are PCS Ing we are looking for a place can you share maybe like the name of apartment to look for it when we get there? We have 10’days or so to house hunt ? And if we are mandated to quarantine for 10’days then do we lose that time to look for a house? We may do base home but I’m not sure it’s our first PCs no pets here just two adults were vaccinated what can you share

Hey Martin first off SICK apartment ! i'm a huge gamer so def can appreciate the gaming room/rig. Second, i'm 26 but still haven't settled into a career, what's your opinion on me enlisting in the Air Force at this age to try and build a skillset and set myself up for the future, and also what are some jobs in the airforce that won't eat up all my free time lol? Thank You!!
26 is still young, worth it man. And well the Air Force will take time its part of the lifestyle so don't join if you wont commit. But admin jobs are your best bet but wont do much on the outside for you.
Do you get bah in Hawaii or cola my orders to Hawaii are in may... little bit worried about the entire cost thing.
You get COLA regardless. If you live off base you get BAH, if not you don’t need to worry about paying for housing.
Are you thinking of staying in Hawaii after you get out of the Air Force

Orders to Hawaii was a nightmare we often had. Beautiful place but at least in the Marines, not a place you want to live.
As far as the sound, it isn’t that bad. Not perfect but nothing you need to apologize for.
