Hi I have just got back into rc. And a lot has changed now. A great tutorial. I like how easy it is to bind and set up your transmitter. What is the exact modle you have please. Or do all the new ones have this function. I am currently on a Dx8 spectrum.
Martin, it is a great time to get back into flying. I have the Spektrum NX 8 and it is amazing! I went from having my DX7S which is still in top condition, but it was time for the upgrade, and I am so happy I made a jump. If you are in the market for one of the NX series transmitters, I say go for it! Cheers.
Thank you for all your videos on the SZD54, especially this one. Its my first RC plane and all the info was invaluable! I am also using NX8. Been training on Aerofly RC8 for a year. Planning maiden flight in a few weeks. Any advice about rates etc.?
For the rates, go by the book, and try your best to set up the simple house set up the way I have it done. I have 30% expo all around. You will not be disappointed. Have fun with it!
Great walkthrough! Im wondering....Can crow and camber be assigned to the same switch? Would like Camber on pos 1 of switch B. And Crow on pos 2 of switch B.
Valrog, thanks for checking out my channel, and I am so glad you enjoyed this tutorial. You absolutely can put the modes on any of your switches, even the same one, especially if it is a three position switch. Follow my programming steps, but with the switch you want to define as your camber and crow. Let me know how it works. Cheers.
Hi great tutorial as always I have sent you a message via another one of your tutorials, Question please before I go mad! Ref the control services the joysticks, I have managed to get elevator(throttle) on the left up down and the rudder on left right left, How to I keep the elevator on the throttle stick and use the right hand stick for rudder (left right) Please help 🙄🇬🇧🛩️ this is for a glider with rudder & elevator, only
You would have to do a mix rudder to throttle. Or switch the modes so your throttle is in the right and your elevator is on the left. Usually the elevator is on a different stick than your throttle.
You said you added down elevator into the flaps … when flaps extend they pitch the nose down, did you mean to say you added up elevator to the mix when the flaps extend?
Super easy to follow along. The key is to just watch how your surfaces react to the numbers you enter, rather than just copy along. Thanks!
Right. I think I mentioned that in the video. Not sure. But it works well. Cheers
This is great. YOu explain this process very well. I am still a beginner so the way you explain all this is very informative !!
Alan, glad I could help. Enjoy.
Hey Manny, this great, I just got an MPX EasyGlider 4 at a swap meet and need to set it up. Perfect timing!
Chris, glad I could help. Let me know how it goes. Cheers!

@@RCPlaneAddict Yep can do camber on the flap system screen too!
Yeah buddy
Do you find it needs any elevator trim mix required for you full span camber ?
(The 39% ailerons and flaps)
No elevator trim mix needed

No. Down elevator is what I did. When flaps are down the plane will ballon up, so you must pitch down to compensate.
