I get chills the moment the piano starts. All I can think of Sykes making Emily H.G. again and then Pete telling Claudia to go back to the car. Multiple times. Then hearing her scream and Myka running up the stairs to see Steve cold and dead. Every time I see that scene I just cry. It is so emotional. I am crying thinking about it.
Honestly that was probably Pete's best acted scene in the whole show. Not that he was bad in any way, just that one was so emotional and painful and protective it's on another level.
This scene in Warehouse 13 is the most emotional of the whole series. This song is the moment, excellent remake. Im happy Steve Jinks continued on in the series, if he hadn't the emotion of this segment would have been devastating to most viewers. It really was that powerful.

This song, if you listen to the lyrics, is meant to be a sad song, slow, and drawn out. When I was in Walmart and heard another cover with that pop background, I felt annoyed, like some singers don't even know music.

this is so reminding me on my dead brother, also the dead agent in warehouse 13! that song is perfect.... I am so happy that I know this song even if it makes me really sad to listen to it. but sometimes as today I am just in the clouds or so listen to it. It's just because I want to swap places with my dead brother too! he reached only 19 years and died in a stupid car accident which absolutely wasn't his fault, he just was the co-driver. While the driver survived his own stupid accident...my brother died. Live can be so sad and unfair, but songs like this make it a bit easier!

Its imbedded itself deep in my mind because I've been obsessed with this cover since high school. It became one of me and my partners songs (it helps that by coincidence, they kin Bucky and I kin Steve, that playlist did heavy thematic lifting). I listened to it on repeat when they left the first summer we met irl for the first time. They had to fly back home to their abusive parents and I needed to stay home with mine. Now almost a decade later, we're halfway across the country and they're sleeping in the next room over from me. We built a life together and this song is now embedded in our history. ❤
