I would say to make the Mountain West 14 schools. While UTEP & NM State would be perfect additions to the Mountain west both Air Force & Hawaii need to be in it as well. For Hawaii's case they would really NEED to be in a conference for scheduling reasons as they have a difficult time scheduling schools that would want to play at Hawaii, & the Mountain west guarantees that they have a certain number of home games. The athletic department would also probably end the football program without the TV revenue of being in a conference. Air Force makes sense in the MW as they were a founding member & it keeps their rivalry with Colorado State in the same conference as well as the history they have with schools like Wyoming as well. The MW's HQ is also right in Colorado Springs right by the Air Force academy as well.
Yah man, this was below par. And leaving so many independents schools shows lack of knowledge on G5. Your P5 conference alignment was good you just need to go off the main stream and study up on G5 schools 10 years in depth. Otherwise you think JMU or liberty is a better option than adding service academies. Look past the last 3 seasons paints a different picture.
@@ICECREAMDISH I don’t dislike them in the Big 12 at all, I just feel like if we whittle down the conferences to 12 each, BYU makes the most sense of the leftovers to be an independent
"Geography and keeping rivalries really matters to me" "For the CUSA, I just threw in all the colleges I know nothing about, and justified it by saying that all the states border each other" lol
One thing I would have done is made a G5 conference with 12 of the schools more in the Northeast United States. Then put the G5 Alabama, Georgia and Florida schools in a conference
Do you like my new take on the PAC-12? Along with the new members I would add CAL, Stanford and SMU from the ACC. Along with Rice, UNLV and most controversially of all, UTSA. I kinda want to put Air Force if I can’t get UTSA. But I think UTSA would probably be better in the long run. Basically think what the American conference is as the main G5 conference to the western half of the country.
Hear this: If done right the new PAC will incorporate the 2 most football crazy regions in the country: the South and the Mountain west. Memphis and Tulane UTSA (or Texas State) and Rice Utah State and Wyoming South Florida and Southern Miss UConn and Georgia State 16
some questionable logos and locations of the logos lol. This is bad thought, way too many schools in a conference, and you cant move houston and SMU back down right after finally making their return to the power 5
@@Sam2sham but they do because they just don't cut it. I believe they just got shut out to an old AAC team this weekend right? 🤔 It's like they couldn't actually make the jump 😔
As a Toledo fan your MAC take is spot on

I don’t mind that at all. That would be a fun conference.

As a byu fan I semi agree with what you said. I liked being independent and I like being in the big 12. But that’s just my opinion

Thought about a northeast based conference, but there weren’t enough good candidates
@@BallTalkBoyos I was thinking more like the G5 Carolina schools and maybe Marshall and a school like Western Kentucky or Middle Tennessee
Liberty is an SEC/ACC school and BYU is getting a power conference invite
Bro broke up the sun belts best rivalry 🤮
In hindsight I should’ve tried harder to keep them together
What about moving Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Arizona State, New Mexico State to Mountain West. Air Force becomes dependent. UTEP goes to CUSA
I feel like that’s a big step down for Arizona, ASU, Colorado, and Utah
@@BallTalkBoyos geographically
Do you also want all carolina in ine cincrefence how about ohio @@anthonymcarthur6504
The only thing I would change between your two videos is to move the Big East to the Group of 6 and call the other group the Power 4.

I like it, I just don’t think there’s a shot Cal and Stanford join a G5. Swap UTSA for Tulane and I think it’s perfect!
Stanford is getting a Big 10 invite. Cal is not
PAC12 adds UTSA, UNLV, and Gonzaga.
AAC adds Air Force.
MWC adds UTEP, Texas State, and Tarleton State.
What are you on
@@batraptor4Doesn’t sound so bad other than Tarleton state.
So, you want to move Marshall and JMU to the premier G5 and not App State (the most dominant team in the current SBC over the past decade)?
App State was the first team out. Already had East Carolina from NC
@@BallTalkBoyos? What why on earth would there be only in nc . Also app state deserve that way more than ecu

UTSA (or Texas State) and Rice
Utah State and Wyoming
South Florida and Southern Miss
UConn and Georgia State

I might be blind but where did you put U Mass
Edit: nvm I read ur other comment where you said you made them FCS again
Put Temple in the Big East and Southern Miss in the AAC
Houston is power 5 now
The Sun Belt was already perfect! 😢😅
some questionable logos and locations of the logos lol. This is bad thought, way too many schools in a conference, and you cant move houston and SMU back down right after finally making their return to the power 5
This is just a different mess
nah I would pass just dissolve the AAC
There's no way Houston goes to the AAC. They belong in the Big 12.
No UMass or Delaware?
Delaware is FCS
Delaware is still FCS for another year so I kept them out, and UMass should be FCS again imo
That's stupid
Nah UTSA vs UH games were so good. Put them together in the AAC
Houston stays in big12.
@@Sam2sham nah, they are really bad. They fit better in the AAC
@itsrab100 look at the past 10 years, though, and their new facilities. They don't fit in the AAC.

@@itsrab100 ridiculous, a new coach and a lot of new players and a rebuilding team. They should have been in the big 12 all along.
