- A seventh compilation of some of the best acting scenes and/or performances of all time. I know there are many missing. It is just a glimpse. Also, it is a subjective list, I don't claim it to be objectively correct, if there's such a thing.
List of appearing actors/actresses in chronological order:
Robert De Niro - Taxi Driver
Michael Fassbender & Carey Mulligan - Shame
Bryan Cranston - Breaking Bad
Leslie Nielsen - The Naked Gun
Tilda Swinton & Ezra Miller - We Need To Talk About Kevin
Tom Hardy - The Revenant
Ulrich Noethen & Tom Schilling - Oh Boy
Robert De Niro & Al Pacino - Heat
2nd track by Laird Kruger: / absurdism
Check out my newest video, Best Acting of the Decade!

Thank you so much for all these great compilations! You really know your stuff, and you've included some wonderful international movies too, love it
Agreed😄😄😄👏👏👏❤❤❤
Thank you my friend. Absolutely loved each bit of fine acting. You da man!!
Could you write the Movie's name for each extract please
i've been through 7 of your clips. probably about 90% of your clips are of male actors. Is good acting really rare among female actors?
No comparison. Two giants. Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro.
Easily one of the best scenes of all time
this movie also has the best on screen shoot out of all time
🏆🏆👍👍
I was hoping that De Niro would get away with it tbh. I don't fault the ending though.
People criticise Naked Gun in this lineup but just because its a comedy doesn't mean its not great acting. Its harder to make people laugh It not just jokes, it calls for comedic timing and subtlety. This scene is actually great acting from Leslie Nielson
Thanks a lot. I wonder why so few people seem to notice that.
not alot of people realise leslie nielson was a serious role actor before he starred in airplane
Garox oh shut up 😂😂
@@rolandtomassi3486 what you telling me to shut up for exactly?
Facts, there are comedy movies that are masterpieces and not just tregady, Sadly I have a dumbass friend who think drama movies is masterpieces only and comedy ones are not.
Breaking bad was a deep one
that show is a piece of art
My God, Breaking Bad...
My God Bryan Cranston......
Unreal ❤
Didn't even recognize that as Tom Hardy at first. Good lawd, the man can literally play anything.
Not venom lol jk
I'm a huge Tom Hardy fan, and it wasn't till more than half way through that I said, "Holy shit! Is that Tom Hardy? What the? How the hell did I miss. . .?! Anything is right
The Revenant is a masterpiece and both DiCaprio and Hardy delivery an amazing performance
He sure is a damn fine actor 👏👏👏
@@AuzzieArtyst tom hardy is in the revenant ?
Such a great choice to involve Leslie Neilsen from the Naked Gun. Just because it's comedy, doesn't mean it isn't acting. His comedic acting and delivery in the Naked Gun series is astounding. No one else could have played that part.
It’s the single greatest comedy movie in my opinion
The best acting OJ did was in court
Mr Lloyd 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
He really got away with murder i still can't believe it
Lmaoooo
The Glove scene was a classic😂🤣😂
OJ was innocent
Heat... One of the best movies ever made
So underrated !
Shitty ending though
koslim how would you have wanted it to end ?
@@mohamad6090 more realistically... A true gangster would never come back with his girlfriend to take revenge the same night, parked in front of the entrance then get blocked, accidentally been seen by the only cop that could recognize him and startesd running to an abonded airfield hiding like a rat when he had the chance to kill the cop easily at least 20 times.. A better ending would be him somewhere having holidays with his woman and 6 months later the snitch's car explodes while his whole family is inside.. Job done
@@koslim LOVED HEAT. But you're right about the ending.
Thank you for putting in Naked Gun. Leslie was such an underrated actor.
absolutely
As a Nebraskan I can appreciate the "getting caught in the gears of a combine" line. hahaha
I really think Orenthal killed it in that scene though. I havent scene that actor in many films since then, and I wonder why. He really was slaying everything he was in back in those days.
Again with the TH-cam underrated comments. Leslie Nielsen has never been underrated, he's a freakin legend
FASHO💯
Tom Hardy is so f***ing good. He got oscar snubbed for his performance in Revenant.
Thank you, I have always said that
Oscars mean fck all these days
No he didn't actually! He WAS actually Oscar nominated for The Revenant! In fact, it is his only Oscar nominated performance.
@@mattiemclean9882 They do actually, you are entirely wrong. They may mean fuck all to you but they do mean a lot.
@@romanxxxxyoutube I know that, but I'm saying I think he should've won it.
Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro Heat
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I think most people miss the fact that the two characters are in fact Brothers. Why else would he hold his hand at the end?
Incredible performances in an incredible film!
"I will not hesistate" - De Niro
Yeah it's a great movie 👍👏👏
Heat is one of my favorite movies of all time. DeNiro and Pacino are legends. Hats off to Micheal Mann.
robert with pacino..woww
Thank you a lot for including we need to talk about Kevin. The performance are so great and yet so humble considering the gravity of topic. Bringing it back together and cleaning up the mess, containing all anger, is the most difficult thing to do. Tilda portrays it so well.
Hank discovering Walter is Heisenberg while dropping one will forever be the greatest acting of all time.
Its certainly up there. For me its al Pacino's speech about inches in any given Sunday
His real holy shit moment
For me it is De Niro's breakdown in jail. Raging Bull baby.
The best performance of 20th century
For me its the 'I abandoned my boy!' scene from There Will Be Blood
@@andymccreight3175 Scent of a Woman.
De Niro - Pacino. Classic. Once in a lifetime. 👊
the greatest scene of Cinema History which includes two of the greatest actors of cinema history.
Heats such a excellent film man needs more recognition
Oh it has tons, legions of people adore it
The Walter White scene breaks me.
He spoke real talk.
SO GOOODD!!
that " oh boy" scene is incredible
AngeloGaab glad im not the only one who thought so o definetly need to go watch that movie
what film is it from?
@@hamishminton8432 ähm oh boy!?
cass 912 yes
“I used to think I knew, now I’m not so sure” The chills, the best scene in We need to talk about Kevin.
Tilda & Ezra in that deeply disturbing but great movie.....Pure excellence!!
That movie was unreal, my God. We see movies so many times about the families of the victims but what we don’t realize is the family’s of the assailants are also victims, the only difference is, they have nobody to talk to, there’s no sympathy for them, it’s not always their fault. Look at Jeffrey Dahmer, everything in his life was normal. It was him, it was he who had the problem; as one detective put it, he’s just not wired right!!!
Christopher Reeves acting at the end of somewhere in time is as good as it gets. You can see the heartbreak in his eyes.
I’ve been fortunate to have seen many great films from almost every genre. When I was 13, I saw The Exorcist (I know it was restricted, but I got in all the same), & I was totally blown away. To this day, I really think that Linda Blair, who was 12 at the time of the shooting, should have definitely won an Oscar for her performance. Imagine how tough it must have been for her. Her role would have been a challenge for an adult, physically challenging & emotionally draining. She did a magnificent job.
Finally a nod to Tom Hardy for his role in The Revenant. One of the best played villain roles of all time. Right up there with Heath Ledger's joker in my opinion.
Such a role. So well acted
Looks like the youtube algorithm brought us together once again
Waited for "we need to talk about Kevin" to be mentioned. Finally you did...such good movie and great acting!
For me Pacino and DeNiro, it doesn't get any better.
Bryan Cranston in Breaking Bad its so legendary
Oh boy scene simply amazing, just goes to show how better actors are outside of hollywood
OJ’s acting in real life was better than when he was actually trying to act. Interesting
That heat scene is so good! Was going to suggest you include it!
The Naked Gun scenes with the dramatic music is AMAZING. I genuinely love this series. For reals. I really love all these performances.
"there is a flip side to that coin..."
Yeah...what a dialogue
My whatsapp status
Fassbender is fucking incredible
His screen presence is amazing.
Tears just comes out....every time I see these compilations.
Absolutely NOTHING beats Bryan Cranston's performance from Breaking Bad.
Wow De Niro and Cranston :O great vids mate keep em coming!
ABOUT TIME I see some Tilda Swinton!!!
10:10 Hoffa and Sheeran, the early years
Thank you for re-uploading. This is my favourite of yours. And Laird Kriger - absurdism is just amazing!
burieddALIVE kub7!&@!@))
Robert Deniro use to be one of my favorite actors.
putting Leslie there just made my heart warm .
I love how Michael Fassbender is in nearly every one of these.
these videos are amazing man, seriously.
The beauty of the soul lives within the moment of the actors spirit.
Ty for including Leslie Nielsen 💓 proving great acting is not just drama 😎
11:06 anyone see Tom Hiddleston do a spot on impression of this scene in front of Robert DeNiro on the Graham Norton show?
I've been waiting so long for this video. Thank you so much. Your my favorite you tuber
Its fine to include Nielson here, acting is acting I guess, but on the heels of Cranston's death monologue of tears its a masterful transition, nobody is expecting to laugh at that moment.
Tom hardy in the revenant is an all time great performance
This is a re-upload, because it was taken down.
sitiosanguinem is the background music different ?
The first song was replaced, yes.
sitiosanguinem what is the name of them?
sitiosanguinem ho
TH-cam's been doing that a lot lately, it really sucks.
De niro and Pacino in Heat is fucking classic
6:30 hard to believe this is tommy conlon lol
"HEAT" ce face a face De Niro / Al Pacino , deux monstres sacres du Cinema...❤
sitiosanguinem love what you do, when do you thunk the next compilation will be posted? I rely on the series of videos you edit together and post (specifically the 'The Best Acting of All Time" compilations) as i download them on my phone and draw inspiration from them almost everyday as an aspiring actor.
This is a great post, thank you for posting. Robert De Niro, as Travis, and Jodie Foster, as Iris, having breakfast at the dinner restaurant would be another example of great acting too, but the choice you made is excellent. .
Michael in Shame for the third time. :D
Another excellent compilation brother!
The first scene on this video where Bickle is talking to Wizard is on of DeNiros best acting jobs ever and quite frankly some of the best acting ever put on film period.
Agreed. De Niro is the best actor ever
Any fuckhead who demeans De Niro now for his stand against Trump should be hanged
İ see al pacino and i click
Thats simple
But ... De Niro is the greatest!
@@Gma00001 both of them goat😂✨
@@Corneliax
Hahaha, trueeee i agree!❤️
Dude these are amazing keep up the great work
That Hardy scene may be the best acting I've ever seen
Tom Hardy is a gift from god. Wow what an actor
HEAT is the best action film of all time. It lasts like a full day but whizzes past.
Shame is such an underrated movie
I’ve noticed scenes from Taxi Driver are in basically every one of these videos.
OJ's best acting was when he denied the killing of his wife in court.
Very good 😂.
Heat is the best scene, I watched that movie like 10 times amazing movie
Shame is a brilliant film. Infafr, all Steve McQueen's films to date are brilliant. One of the best directors working right now.
Your videos are always my favorite 💙💙💙
stop playing music in the background and let us enjoy the performance for what it is. Let the actor sway us without needing your edited-in serenation.
You should include some scenes from Generation War in your next video if you're going to make another. (If you haven't seen it, it's a three part series made in 2014 about German perspectives in WW2, it was great IMO.)
Cranston needs a video all for himself
Very professional and excited
I always love your videos mehn, keep it up.
I'm kind of saddened because the ones that you did prior to this were really quite good, but you're reaching now with some of these clips that truly aren't anything special to behold. There. I've said my peace. All the best to you.
as someone who has acted before, it’s one of the most gutwretching things. And sometimes
You don’t want to even do it anymore because your scared your gonna go crazy allowing yourself to get that dark...
It’s not easy to have your talent and your mental health to both be at odds with each other😔
I love how you put a comedy scene in each video ,,,,
Heat. Wow. Two greats.
Thank you for including the great Leslie nielson,a lot of people will probably disagree because it's comedy but great acting cannot be denied, that deadpan serious face he does is pure genius what a man and airplane is still 1 of the top 10 funniest film's ever and always will be xx
Heat♥
You should check out Travis Fimmel as Ragnar-Vikings He's an incredible actor I'm telling you man
Hell yeah 🔥
"Nordberg - it's me Frank. Who did this to you?" And watch how Nordberg's wife reacts. "Oh poor Nordberg! He was such a good man! He never wanted to hurt anyone. Who would want to do such a thing? 'Reacting' is the basis of all good acting. Wonderful clip, thanks! And Nordberg's wife should have got the Oscar that year ---- Susan Beaubian.
Add Daniel Day-Lewis from Gangs of New York - the scene where he is wrapped in the flag confronting Leonardo....
Add Gena Rowlands from A Woman Under the Influence, where she's standing on the sidewalk talking to anyone who is passing by
Shame! Amazing
I think these scenes would greatly benefit from an expository context typed out in the description section. For example, Robert De Niro (bankrobber) & Al Pacino (detective on his case) - Heat.
2nd one was amazing. Thank you
what are theses soundtracks playing at the back ground, I believe that the 1st one is Ludovico Einaudi and the 2nd one is a soundtrack from a movie but I can't recognize it, could you please also mention your music in the description? thanks alot tho
Holy shit, Robert De Niro and Al Pacino totally resemble Vincent and Leo from A Way Out :oo
Try "The Return" (2003), maybe one of the most strongest teen acting, definitely deserves attention. I would also recommend The Thief" (1997), if you'll have a chance :)
I have watched the Vozvraschyenye with my two sons. Unforgettable experience.
Sadness is the best description of this
Man I love Tom Hardy ❤️❤️
U rock man :) I love your videos ! :) They are even on my phone ^^
Naked gun scene, is one of the greatest, no matter the genre.
That scene from Heat is one of my favorites of all time. Stellar performances.
Bryan Cranston ...incredible actor
Lethal Weapon was unexpected in this compilation, but Leslie Nielsen was an amazing actor.
You could mar a vid of every Tom Hardy line every pretty much.
Hey great video. I just found some new great movies to watch. Thanks
