The crazy part about this is although she didn’t say much, it spoke volumes….Parents… just being strict isn’t good. You can tell she had little to no interaction with the adults in her home..she’s timid, unsure of herself, and you can tell no one expected her to be anything but “pretty”.. it’s almost like no one ever spoke Life into her… that breaks my heart…

This was tough. She didn't want to answer anything, and she was so focused on her looks that she didn't think about anything else. I'm not sure if she was acting ditzy and really didn't understand a third of the questions or if she was deflecting because she was afraid. But it would be worth interviewing her again in a year

She could quite easily just be very nervous, she certainly seemed so in the introduction
Her answers seem to reflect the image she wants to project, rather than reality. I hope she realizes her worth and explores other career options that empower her, instead of holding her back. Kat deserves better than she’s allowed herself. Dream bigger!

At the very least you have to assume the guests who are already in extremely difficult situations, may read these comments. Why take time to possibly make their day even worse?

She’s very self conscious to be doing what she does. I believe that she needs to be validated physically to feel worthy. Something most troubled people experience when a big part of their development stage of childhood was tainted with dysfunctional relationships at home.

Makes me wonder how “normal” of a childhood she had if she has always dreamt of this lifestyle or line of work. She skated past the question about where her mom was. And even with a stepmom, she didn’t have any women in her life that were role models. She clearly has a story. Probably a pretty troubled one. Best wishes to Kat!

I just think it is impossible to say. "I always wanted to grow up being a prostitute" without having an extremely warped idea about sex and what it means. Somewhere, somehow, there is something that must have happened or she experienced to make her think like that.

I remember when there was a discussion whether video games influence kids into being more violent and having negative behaviour. Crazy to think that there was a disagreement to that.
The media generally glamorizes prostitution. Sex work is becoming normalized, like Onlyfans and all the online stuff. Feminists have also tried to normalize sex work as a legitimate career path.
She might not have been abused at home but I bet as a teen she was hanging with people that she should not have and someone got in her head and made her think/manipulated her into thinking this would be glamorous. A pimp probably tricked her into thinking he was her boyfriend and then turned her out. She seems so sweet. I hope she learns her value and escapes this life.😢

I grew up with a mother who struggled financially. My sister became a stripper and suddenly ALWAYS had money. Seeing that much money made me reconsider some lifestyle choices. 😂 But I didn’t end up following my sister’s decisions. The influence was very strong, though.
Sometimes it’s not the job that people are drawn to, it’s just the money or perks that the job offers. What she might be saying is that she wanted to make good money without going to school or clocking in to a 9 to 5. But idk. Maybe the actual tasks of prostitution is validating when you don’t feel desirable. 🤷♀️
This was incredibly sad to watch and hear. She seems so preoccupied with her appearance and it's so sad to hear that she aspired to this work model. She is very vulnerable. Hope she turns a corner and starts to value herself more 🙏🏽♥️

Absolutely trafficked. For someone who seemed to not understand anything coming out of Mark’s mouth she popped off at the end with the “Walk by faith, not by sight.” Then asked Mark, “Do you get it?” More red flags, “I’ve worked in Florida before.” She’s from KC. As someone who lives within an hour of KC, I can say it’s a trafficking hub. She may think this is all her idea and maybe it started that way, but they saw how ignorant she is and how easily they could manipulate her and it was game on. Not to mention, “I just move around.”

This is sad. No female influence, did not finish high school (maybe bullied out or not given the support she needed in school) Kicked out of dads home @ 17, left grandma's home after 1 month who knows why maybe not made to feel comfortable, always wanting to be a prostitute. I pray for salvation for this young girl. That she gets the help & support she needs to turn things around & that she remains safe until that change comes.

Her pimp sent her to talk for the money, but likely told her not to talk. She admitting to having a pimp, and then when asked again said "I prefer not to answer".
This is a bit unfair. The person being interviewed owes Mark nor us anything. These people aren't the most well adjusted, extroverted people. Shit, I am convinced that a majority of them would act this exact same way if they weren't high as a kite off of meth or heroin when they do the interviews. Which Mark allows them to do before the interview. So that simply isn't fair, and sort of messed up to judge someone for how they react to very personal things. These are highly desperate people, in extremely toxic and unhealthy situations daily, being sat in frront of a camera and asked to spew out all their trauma so we can all be entertained. She could have felt pressured to do it, or even wanted to do it badly, but once you sit down with the camera there you can mentally freeze up or go into your defense mechanisms.
These aren't trained circus animal here to simply entertain us. They have no obligation to you or any of mark's fans. Hell, most of the people in the world who don't have a fraction of the issues these people have won't even go to therapy. Yet we expect people to get on here and just spill their life, insecurties and traumas so we have something to watch while we drink our morning coffee.
Stop with the lazy and predictable entitlement and maybe take moment to ponder why she may act the way she does, instead of being angry that she didn't "entertain you enough."
I feel like I was looking at myself watching this interview. She clearly has anxiety to the point where she can’t gather her thoughts. When someone’s mind is racing a million miles a minute it’s even hard to answer the simpliest question. For the ones judging her so harshly make sure your perfect. I pray she overcomes everything that she is going through and may God give her the strength to step out on faith and leave this lifestyle.🙏🏾❤️

I have an anxiety disorder & sometimes I can't remember stuff or completely check out mid conversation & ppl will think I'm just uninterested or I'm slow or have memory problems but really I just have way too many thoughts going through my head to concentrate on the conversation. She's braver than I am cause i would've never did this interview bc of fear of how dumb I'd look every time I blanked out.
@@a1vending913 I also do have anxiety issues especially when I have been put on the spot. I get really nervous and I can't explain why. I can remember a job interview I had some years ago where I found myself facing a panel of a good number of people. I became too anxious and the interview kind of ended prematurely. Also, when I defended my masters thesis a few years ago, I became too nervous to point where I couldn't coordinate my thoughts and my presentation fell apart. I kinda felt like s*** despite the hard work I had put into it and the positive complements I had gotten from my supervisor prior to that defence. This anxiety issue does eat into your self esteem.

This interview felt like it was like pulling teeth trying to get a good interview with her.
I despise comments like this. What is the purpose of it? What does it at all contribute?
Okay, you've made it clear that she didn't entertain you enough with her trauma or insecurities. She wasn't high out of her mind, like a lot of his guests are. Which is the main reason I think a lot of them are able to talk about their difficult lives.
You act like she was doing it to spite the viewers or something. When most people can't even go to therapy, yet we fully expect anyone who sits across from Mark with camera turned on to just just unload or fully engage in anything and everything he asks, in the way he and the audience wants.
They aren't circus animals. These are real people dealing with extremely delicate and difficult situations. To expect anything from them is so unfair and gross.
I assume all his guests read the comments under their interview. There is no reason to add more negativity or to complain about how someone acted on an interview that they don't owe us or Mark. Ask yourself why they may have acted the way they did, rather than getting annoyed or angry by it. Just shows a lack of basic compassion and major entitlement.

I wonder if she was being truthful. When Mark asks her if there are any negative effects of this work, she says no. This is hard to believe. She was giving short answers and probably lying on some of her answers, that suggests that she didn't want to open up and share her life experience, so why did she come? To make herself known and get more clients?

Great work with this ongoing project...I believe Kat has supressed her childhood trauma and the lies she's constantly told herself over time has become her new storyline which is why she responds the way she does. She views her childhood as normal because of what she told herslf about the trauma she experienced. Her self-consciousness is more than likely due to in part whatever happened with her teeth, its created insecurities that lend to her fictional storyline.

Nope. This lifestyle was glamorized with her generation. I believe her when she says she was not abused. She was also just not ever taught that this lifestyle was wrong. I think she was just not paid attention to as a teen. Like most within her generation parents let the TV, cell phones, and media raise their child. So they determine for themselves right or wrong. Her mom was gone, and her dad may have been strict but he was not involved and that made the difference here.

When I saw the thumbnail it drew me in to the fact that her eyes were actually closed, which is what made me click. Her anxiety is so prevalent that I feel like there are things that are keeping her from expressing her true feelings. Bless her heart, she seems so young and insecure. We've all been there. Her job is to look good so it's understandable it's on her mind constantly. Doing this interview will give her some exposure so no wonder she wants to come across well. I hope she's happy and stays as safe as possible in her profession x

That being said, it’s perfect.
Little drama in her upbringing, very self-conscious of her looks, her answers are naive and almost evasive. On the surface she`s successful with her outlook, but the interview only scratches the surface. One can only imagine what becomes of her.
She was completely different before she thought the camera started rolling - seemed polite friendly and engaging. Once interview started seemed vacuous, aloof and childish
She is a beautiful young girl, could probably do anything she wants to do, it’s ashame she chose this career path! But hey each to their own.

This is one of the most difficult interviews I have watched, and I am a huge SWU supporter. I found nothing intriguing, interesting, sad, or really ‘anything’ about this girl. She is doing this just because she “wants” to? She was not abused, she’s healthy, not on drugs, and is young…this was really, really, hard to watch. Someone needs to tell her that in another 8 months, she will be singing a different tune….and she won’t like what is staring back at her in the mirror. I hope her path in life changes for the better.

The first minute alone made me stop watching. I don't know, the way Mark was describing her looks and how he has a guy who sends him women pictures before he will interview them is a bit weird and sus. Or saying "yeah this girl is really pretty, but there are girls even way more pretty. But to each their own. I won't outright say its creepy, but I would assert that it is a bit irresponsible and at the very least cringey. Because yes, you are allowed to want to feel attractive if you want, man or woman. Absolutely no issue with someone finding personal happiness in whatever was they see fit. But why does Mark "need" pictures of these women before he agrees to do an interview with them? That part alone makes me feel icky, among many other things I have noticed the past few months or so with this channel.
I get that sex sells, but its their stories and honesty that makes a good interview, rather than wanting the hottest girls possible. Looks tell nothing about how interesting or good an interview might be. And having those expectation of any of his guests is simply unfair.
I truly want to believe Mark is a good guy, but I always get this underlying feeling that something is a little off. Could be me projecting, who knows. But its a feeling nonetheless. I'd love to be wrong though.
@@jacobus57 I'm glad it's not only me. I haven't watched him much nearly like I used to. It was when he started the Patreon and how he was using desperate women to help sell it with their body and sex that made me look at him differently.
At the very least it's extremely irresponsible. And it worries me that he has full financial power over all these highly desperate people. Which gives him a lot of pull and leeway.
If he is legitimately helping them, and not exploiting them then I'm all for it. But the fact that I even have to possibly question ulterior motives that I never pondered at the start of this channel worries me.
And this is just from the stuff he CHOOSES to keep in the videos. Something just seems so off and I would love to be wrong.

The fact that people are more likely to click on a video of a good looking person speaks to the shallowness of human nature, it isn't Mark's fault.
