- This is a detailed review of my 2016 Audi S7. I really wanted to do something different and give you my take on the car after 2 months of ownership. Things I like, things I don't like and the mods that I have done and the mods that are going to come.

Thank you! What color were you locked on to before? You know what else I like about Sepang blue? It's not available as a standard color on an A7!!! I'm telling you I always do white or black car colors but the amount of compliments I have gotten on this color is crazy. I'm so glad I got it.
I always go for black. Good point on the A7 not being offered in this color. That blue looks insane on camera i can only imagine what it looks like in person. Keep making videos, get some rolling shots if possible! I wanna see this thing in action!! Yours will have to do until i get mine!

Great review, one of the more honest regular guy ones. I can see you love your cars and seriously consider what mods you want that will work for you, but, more importantly, won't hurt the value of the car for the future. looking forward to seeing the ECU flash. These tuners definitely know what they're doing and their name speaks for itself. Surprised to hear that the Bang & Olufsen system isn't all that good in the S7.
Thanks man! Yeah I'm on vacation right now but will be back soon, and when I get back Imma pull the trigger on the flash. And the B&O is better then the Bose for sure but $5k better? In my opinion no way. I actually was planning the whole way to get the B&O but after hearing them back to back I just couldn't see the value beside the really cool tweeters popping out of the dash, hahaha.
Lol, I hear you. Enjoy the vaca. Im thinking as it relates to the B&O maybe it has to due with better sound transfer and spatial awareness in the volvo vs your S6 maybe why there is such a difference...

6:30 I'm pretty sure in all Audis if you go into reverse, the sensors and camera activates automatically. If not, there should be a setting for that in the menus. (2011 Audi Q5 3.2 Premium Plus)
Great color ! I got a 2016 S4 in misano red with the sport diff but it was a tough choice between this blue and the red :)
Good choise of taking the S7 over the RS7, The dual clutch make it's a much better drivers car than the regular automatic in the RS7

30hp tune? Shouldnt this go almost 100hp up?
your parking sensors should go automatically when put in reverse, while for front sensors you have to push the button, how else the car is going to know if you need sensors.
When did I say 30 HP tune? my current tune added 100 whp! And what I was saying about the sensors in the front is that they should sense an object close to your bumper automatically and come on by itself. my last 2 cars and my wife's do that. Not sure why you have to hit the button.

It's all how you drive, haha. You can cruise on the highway and get 23 mpg easy! But I never did. I averaged 14.9 mpg with city and highway driving but mostly city.

Your videos are get. I didn't know of Roc-Euro until I saw your video. I order it the same day. I have a 16 S7 almost identical to yours however I did opt for the B&O and Milltek exhaust with roc-euro intake. I had my shop do all the installation as well as the tune. I also did the 17mm lowering and seat belt chime delete and euro tale light bake light pulse and a few other computer changes. Keep the videos coming. Thanks!
I just couldn't see the value for $5k on the B&O cause it didn't seem that much better than the Bose for some reason when I tested them out side by side. Maybe I should have gotten it but too late now hahaha. So how long ago did you order the Roc Euro intake? Cause some people have been waiting 10 weeks, its crazy!!

Are the s6's any good in the long run?
I see some 2008-2010s for sale for only like 15-20k$ with not too bad of miles.
Considering the looks, power, features, and performance it seems like a steal, & had me interested months back, but i figured any major maintenance/fixes costs would be super steep lol.
Not crazy about the C6 S6 styling but those V10's with exhaust sound nuts!!! After all it is a Lamborghini motor in it. I think with some wheels they can look good though. Maintenance cost could be an issue though.

Love the car. I've been looking at the S3 myself. Just curious, what do you do? I feel like I make OK money, but I haven't been able to make the calculations work with the car payment and still have the available month-to-month funds I want.

But maybe you can shoot me over some info on what you do and I can see if they'd be into broker deals. I'm not sure I'm using the correct lingo. I'm in Raleigh, NC, I don't know if you only work in a certain area either.

What's up Jessse, I'd like for you to tell me the steps necessary to launch my audi S7 and if you can please provide with information on simple modifications that you think I can do to my car; Such as the stereo system and the exhaust system, I would really appreciate your help.
123456710ish So make sure your car is in dynamic mode, traction control off and steering wheel straight. step on brake to the floor and then mash the gas while still holding the brake. Rpm will go to 5k then let go off the brake and have fun!!!! As for mods the best bang for your buck is ECU and TCU tune. If your car is a 2016 or newer I would recommend to delete the resonator to wake up the exhaust. Also adding a sub and amp makes a huge improvement to the stock Bose system. Hope this helps!

The S5 was my dream car when it first came out! I know have 2 kids so its not an option, hahaha. My buddy has an RS5 and it is very fun to drive.
I test drove the S7 ( 2016 ) it is a very nice and quite car but the ride felt a bit sterile !
I think the Germans are making cars to accommodate the US taste for soft riding cars i.e. Cadillac.
It is ashame they have changed the road feeling of BMW and Audi a this level...there is no fun anymore.
Its funny that you bring this up. I do think it is a valid point however I think thats what makes the S7 so great. Let me explain. First of all it has air suspension and you won't get that M4 type feel with air suspension ever. You saw the video you see I have two kids so to be able to have a car I can tune and get 550 HP and put in dynamic and haul ass and do pretty good around corners for a 4,500 pound 4 door car is great. At the same time I can put the car in (Comfort Mode) rarely happens, haha. But make the suspension super plush and quiet down the exhaust and just cruise. I think the S7 is a luxury car first. The other thing is Audi has a lot of other models in their lineup for more of a connected feel. Just my thought.
Jesse Papike Hi, Yes I am aware of the attributes of both BMW and Audi. I was the proud owner of an A6 Bi-Turbo Six manual Quattro a real pleasure and probably best car I have ever driven. I presently have a BMW 550i Sport loaded...I only drive in Sport or Sport + mode but I miss the road and nimble handling of my 2002 and 2008 540i.....The Germans are getting soft . LOL

So I haven't dyno'd my car yet but did some logging through VAG-COM and had some second gear pulls come in at 469 Wheel horsepower. So if you factor in the roughly 18% driveline loss its about 553 crank horsepower! Not bad.
Still one of the most stunning cars on the road 👌

What year is yours? pre 2016 resonator delete doesn't do much as mine has the sport exhaust.
Late 2015. I've just watched other video where you've mentioned that you deleted resonator. I guess I will go for full akrapovic exhaust then! Thanks for your reply!
OK stay tuned. My 5k service is next week and right after I'm going to do a true ECU flash. So we'll see how that compares to the piggyback in terms of power. well initially with a butt dyno. Video soon after.

I am seriously thinking of purchasing the S7 however, I know that there will be a new face lift 2019, Do you think I should go ahead with my purchase or shall I wait for the facelift. I am not in a hurry but I really do not want to wait 2 years lol
Honestly, There will always be a new model coming out! If you like the S7, just grab it! I could never wait two years for a car!!!! The rumor is the new one is going to be a twin turbo V6 not a V8, so this could be your last chance to have the 4.0T.

I gotta 2014 Nissan Altima with Kickers speakers(no subwoofers) with a 300watts 4mono channel amp for 700$ from Best Buy...people thought I had at least 1 10inch woofers😂 but you'll be surprised from a 6by 9 speakers

The Bose sound system definitely suck! Had an A4 with B/A and I now have an A6 with Bose. Huge difference- bass and highs. Nice car though! Makes me want to upgrade....

Man I just got the same wheels and the shop put 285/30/21 Pirelli's and I'm on Ibach springs and they rub all over the place 🙈 rubs the felt in rear and in front too. I told him 275/30/21 and he said I'll be fine with 285s well see what happens this am as he was clearly wrong when I take him for a ride in it as he said he drove it.

Great video! I just picked up a CPO S6 and was looking to do the resonator delete as well but could use some more information on how you went about doing that. 3k for an exhaust is just not worth it. I am doing the vag lower and adding the intake in a couple of weeks. Awesome car!!
So just call around to local exhaust shops and ask them how much to remove your resonator and put straight pipes in. I had to put an H pipe in place of my resenator because of where the valves are located in the 2016's but if yours is 2013-2015 you should be fine with straight pipes. Mine costed $250 bucks and I have seen guys on the forums paying anywhere from $200-$300. If you need me to send you a pic of the install under the car, I can do that just let me know.

I have a 2018 S6 (in Sepang Blue too), and I agree that the S7 is more attention grabbing. That's actually what I like better about the S6 is that it blends in more. They're both great cars though.

I’ve seen a few postings that talk to the modifies intakes that your set up thus now getting in hot air from the engine vs a stock. and you really want to draw in cold air the stock ones do. Yes the sound would be different. But I think the end of the day you lost a bunch of power with hot air.
