I love the graphic feel for zenathal chop. I love how you have one side very vibrant and the other with deep shadows but you can still see details and it is fast.
You've probably answered this a dozen times already, but what detail brush are you using? I've tried a few, but none seem to have the ability I'm looking for that the one you're using has.
I know in the USA, you can get cheap fidget poppers at Dollar General, especially around holidays like Easter and Halloween. They might be in the shape of a bunny or ghost, but they work the same, and they are only $1 or two.
I love all of your content; subscribed! As a professional therapeutic game master for a few years, I appreciate you showing off different miniatures with color schemes. Speedpaints have helped me field a table of encounters far faster than traditional painting techniques. Thanks!
Thank you so much, this simple method of painting has given me such a love for painting miniatures and Im happy to share everything I do with this wonderful hobbying community 🙂
@@tomsteer3485 Yeah, I know, thanks. ;) still I don’t know which one it is… ok Amazon (Germany) there are only rainbow colored ones to order. They don’t keep the colors fresh longer though, they are just easier to clean.
At 9:11 you can see the face is a little dark. Faces are one of the most important part of the mini. What I do is when I am done with my zenithal I do a quick spritz of the face to highlight that section.
I am not that familiar with Heroquest, but would love to see something with a cold/winter/frost theme and how would you go about painting something like that.
Hmmmm... Not sure I'm fully convinced with your new zenithal approach, the arm of this ogre looked so dark, I feel the speedpaints struggle with such a dark undercoating. 🤷🏽🤔 But I loved your video though 😊

You make it look easy. Still getting used to the Army Painter Speedpaints. More practice, I guess.
👍👍👍👍😎😎😎😎

To be honest I buy cheap ones, Im never any good at cleaning them, so but cheap ones which I then throw away after about 6 months lol 🙂
@@MiniatureHobbyist If it works, it works!
Did u mix speedpaint with medium?
Do you have the stl available for the dry brush palette you created with the speed paint pots on the side ?
The drybrush pallette and the miniature holder stl's are all on my patreon page 🙂
🔥🤘❤️
is there any prep needed for these miniatures, and what primer did you use on them?
no prep although I have heard some people wash the miniature with soap and water, i use Matt Black Primer - thecolourforge.com/ 🙂
@@MiniatureHobbyist thankyou!
are you going to do anything with a 3d pen, soon? would love to learn.
as soon as a company sends me one I would love to have a go lol 🙂
I have to ask, but do you buy a new fidget popper thing for each video? If so where do you find them cheap? BM don't seem to have them anymore!

Its the same one, they are great, the paint dries over night and then just pops out, you can get cheap ones on Temu 🙂

Looks cracking work as always.
Ogres or ogors however it's spelled are always fun
Cheers, yup I love em big and chunky 🙂
What’s the palette you are using?
It’s not a palette, it’s fidget popper repurposed as a palette. They keep speedpaints fresher for longer

Its a cheap fidget popper I got off Temu 🙂
Nice. I just hope my preorders (hero monk and delthrak) Will reach me at some point. So... yeah...
Cheers, I have my fingers crossed for a speedy delivery 🙂
@@MiniatureHobbyist Thanks but it doesn't look good atm. Hasbro...

Yup looking back there are a few areas of the skin that could have been lighter 🙂
I am not that familiar with Heroquest, but would love to see something with a cold/winter/frost theme and how would you go about painting something like that.
I do have some frost yetis that I can paint 🙂

But I loved your video though 😊
This reminds me that I still haven't finished my heroquest models.
Yup I kinda painted them for a few weeks and then stopped, I looked a few days ago and its like jeez I have so many unpainted lol 🙂
That's a female Ogre. Also I'm pretty sure that the breastplate armour is intended to be leather, not metal (it's too bendy around the body).
Nine minted to paint the mini, or is the video nine minutes long?
Probably about 15-20 minutes to paint mini, video is 9 minutes 🙂
@@MiniatureHobbyist That is still very quick!
