    I think it's cool that you disclose what you paid for parts. It really helps future buyers get an idea of what they are selling for in today's market and what they can expect to pay without getting gouged. Please continue with it.

    That Lincoln Zephyr steering wheel that you got at Hershey is the same steering wheel that the 1948 Tucker used. Tucker got the wheels from Ford

    Question for you guys at Iron Trap figured you know this answer I am putting a 1967 283 Chevy small block motor in my 1936 Ford 3 window coupe but I am trying to bolt onto the factory manual 3 speed transmission. I have the adapter bell housing( offenhauser) but I don’t know exactly what flywheel and clutch to use. I was told a gm 168 tooth flywheel? Any help is appreciated. Thanks for putting on some great videos on your adventures. 👍

    • @IronTrapGarage
      @IronTrapGarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Chevy flywheel and ford clutch disc and pressure plate. May have to redrill the pressure plate to accept a ford pressure plate. Or find a Chevy pressure plate that is the same size as a Flathead 10” or 11” pressure plate.

    Of the last 12 videos, only one has been about a project in the ITG!?!
    I subbed over 2 years ago because I like to see good work on vintage rods, not how many parts you hauled home. I realize this is part of the ITG business model since you went full-time on YT. But PLEASE!, give us more garage content and less showing off your latest parts haul. Love ITG and the work going on in the garage, but I'm about to unsubscribe if I see another "More Parts!" thumbnail.

    • @IronTrapGarage
      @IronTrapGarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      You do realize we put out videos chronologically that match what we’ve been up to. The past 2-3 weeks EVERY year are Carlisle and Hershey for us so the videos are geared around that. The other option is to put out NO videos during that time because a small percentage of people don’t like these types of videos but then other people will bitch. Maybe think about how there’s more people that watch these videos than you and maybe they have different tastes and interests in the video topics and like these videos… but don’t despair this entire winter will be nothing but project videos because it’s winter for us…

    • @SaneCayne
      @SaneCayne 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@IronTrapGarage Yes, I realize many in the audience like these types of vids. But I also know there's a good percentage of us that prefer the project vids. Like the 60k-70k or more that were subbed before all the parts haul vids started happening.
      Anyhoo, glad to hear more project vids are coming. Thanks for that content.

      Dude, I hope that you weren't serious about unsubscribing just over videos of the guys at
      Iron Trap Garage buying and selling stuff. That's kind of a radical statement to make. C'mon Now, they have to do this kind of work just to find things. In the long run, it does help with their paychecks, and they need to eat and pay bills too.
      Anyway, that's my 2 cents of banter.
      Y'all have yourselves a great day.

    • @stevenkarnisky411
      @stevenkarnisky411 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      If they started doing videos where they were torturing cats or throwing rocks from overpasses there would be good reasons to unsubscribe.
      I will probably never own a hot rod. The closest I have come were 1/25 scale plastic kits in the 1960s.
      I do love the old cars, especially Fords! Matt, Mike, dad, Steve and the rest put on interesting programs. They have good personalities. They respect their viewers and the people they buy and sell from.
      We have gotten to watch their business and their skills expand over time! I find the whole thing interesting. When I find content that doesn't interest me, I just don't watch. That's my take, But to each his own, I guess!
