- During the first full week of October, Hershey Amusement Park turns into a mecca for vintage car enthusiasts. With over 10,000 spaces, the Hershey AACA Fall Swap Meet is the largest automotive based swap meet. The wide variety of items for sale changes with every isle. You could buy parts for your Brass era, Early Ford v8 and 1940s Studebaker within 100 feet. This swap meet should be on your bucket list, and we hope to see you next year!!

My father used to produce a video of the Hershey Show. The last one was in 1992. He walked around identifying cars, grills, hood ornaments and anything else he saw. It was his passion to restore antique cars.

Myself and my brother in law Paul Willi went there in 1972 fall for a 3 day weekend with his big flat bed truck with sides on it coved with a large tarp covering the hole body. We slept in the back of truck. He took old car parts( a lot of old car parts) my sister in law (Betty) packed a large ice chest filled with food and drinks. We had a good time. You could smell the chocolate from the Hershey's plant. We had a great time.
This year marked the fiftieth (50) year of my going to Hershey and vending for forty eight (48) of them. Nice video and thanks for making and sharing it. Wish you could have stopped by my spaces.
I need to get out there one of these days, need to sell some junk so I can buy some other more pertinent junk 😂

This year's Hershey was awesome - anyone into pre-war cars needs to make the fall pilgrimage at least once in their life.

now the last time i whent i was 16 years then and i drove my dads 1920 modal t touring car dwon there from saratoga ny to hershey and back home again and that was in 1978 and the model t i drove down there took 1st place trophy for the most original model t there that day it felt great to have driven the first place t there that day but also when i did turn 16 i got to drive the model to all the shows back then and i just loved it
I haven't been up to the Hershey show in probably 20 years, nice to see it looks exactly the same!!

@16:12 that looks like a remote Shift made by Allard in England for Ford V8's in their sports cars. Not often you see Allard parts for sale. Just the thing to go behind an ARDUN ... all were connected at one time.

I used to go but my hips don't hold up anymore and it's a 5 hour drive there. When I used to go people told me if your looking for something special you will find it at Hershey and it's the truth.
The car shows are something else both days.

I was pounding the pavement on Wednesday and Thursday. Bought quite a bit of stuff. If you know what you're looking at, there are still some good deals out there.

I haven’t been to a swap meet since Daytona Turkey Rod run a few years back. Gets discouraging seeing beat up barely usable things priced way too high, stopped going. Maybe they just expect everyone to beat them up on price?

I really enjoyed seeing the cars and if they had a price on it. That was great, but slow a little down on the price tags, they would not have time to focus. I would watch hours of a swap meet video with prices...hours!

its been years and years from the last time i whent hershey the last time i whent was way back in 1978 i have not been in all this time but would love to go once again maybe the may that i,ll go once again i,d love to go there with a couple of million cash in my pocket to buy with and buy what ever i would want to do owell i,m not rich so can,t buy mush if i did go but it would nice to look and dream anyway
