Thank you Charlie this is so simplifying how to do these things, the manuals do make these things complicated.

Thank you so much for the detailed video with the techniques and tips! My mom just gave me a knitting machine that she used 40 years ago, and thanks to your videos, I'm off and going!

I have just bought this exact same machine. For the extortionate price of £8.00. Still getting to grips with it, as the manual is writted in 1960 english. :) It's so great to see someone using one to demonstrate. You have a great way of explaining what you are doing, lots of info and a good dose of humour.

The only cast on method I can get to work on my machine is the E wrap method which is slightly strange as the only method in the instruction manual it tells me to use is the ravel cord method lol

Thank you, I’m a visual learner and still had a bit of trouble with the manual for my knitting machine but this helped tremendously as I was doing the first one but realized I need the third cast on!

Hi Charlie, have you seen the cast on video from Agnes Donnely. Would love you to do a more detailed one.

Thank you for this video. I’ve found out that when I hang the comb, it’s difficult to move my carriage across because it gets really stiff moving around the comb. I want to know how to make it better. Also, if I don’t bring the weaving brush down, will it affect my work adversely?

Hello, I have just bought a singer 321 and tried all your methods to cast on but my machine just ties the yarn around the brushes or misses many stitches and leaves a hanging loop. The machine has just come back from a complete overhaul but I just cant get it to cast on. This is one part I like; Part 4 at 7:20. Any ideas please?

Hello, could you please elaborate on weaving brushes. On toyota ks901 i found that those brushes are pretty much useless. It knits fine with or without them being engaged. Manual doesn't explain either the proper use for them.
    Thank You!

Yeah, they aren't needed nearly all of the time. You might find they help with really hairy or really fluffy yarns but apart from that, they don't do a lot.
