Greetings from France 🥰 Congratulations 🏆❤️. I've been having my Brother Punch Card Knitting Machine I guess kh894 with the G Carriage, since 1987 and made so many sweaters small and big for all ages. I knew my machine BY HEART. Since I had a serious aggression which left me paralyzed in 2014 I never touched or looked at the Machine. Today 30.07.22 I came upon your Videos and decided to WAKE UP. I had forgotten EVERYTHING and your videos are JUST FOR ME A BEGINNER. Thanks for sharing caring and making a 70 year old SMILE 🥰🌹♥️👍👍👍 a big hug 🤗

So years ago, I bought a vintage Brother knitting machine, which had just about everything except the manual. I found a really bad version online that was barely legible, but also minimally explained, and I got overwhelmed and it's been on my list of things to do ever since. I am really excited I found your videos, which I see you posted two years ago, which would be two years after I bought my machine. Now I want to give it another go! Thank you so much for your generosity in sharing all of this information, it is so very much appreciated! I think I can actually use my machine now!

Thank you so much for these videos. Just bought a Jones KH-588 for a fiver at a boot sale that had never been used. Sorted out the rotten sponge bar, and now watching your incredible beginners videos. I cannot get on with written instructions, your videos are brilliant. Thank you!

Thank you for these great videos! I have a question about moving the heel of one stitch to fill in the hole... Does it matter whether you take the heel from the left or right stitch? I noticed on the right side you took the heel from the right stitch (outer stitch) which is one of the stitches you used to increase but on the left side you took it from the right stitch (inner stitch) which isn't one of the stitches you used to increase (that would've been from the left stitch). Or maybe it doesn't matter?

It doesn't matter from the point of view of filling the hole, but it produces two different looks. In general, I take them all from the right hand or all from the left hand. If you take from the right on the right hand side and from the left on the left hand side you get two different looks, so I don't usually do that.

@@singlentendre Totally makes! I was thinking the way you were doing it would give a different look on each side but at the same time I didn't think my thinking was correct given your extensive knowledge and I'm a newb. LOL I knew I had to be wrong. LOL Thanks for explaining! 👍
